  • As a Kid, I would help my Mother make Sauerkraut... Both fun and Fascinating... Taking Cabbage and Salt and making a Unique and Healthy Canned product... That would put food on the table in the winter...
    So, this years Cabbage Crop was not up to prior years production... Partially due to having it in more of a shaded area with the two layer Garden... And because of the Caterpillars that were a real challenge...
    So, instead of a couple Crocks with Sauerkraut... I decided to try Ferment it in a 1/2 Gallon Jar... Lets see how this goes...
