Machi might be the most important spider. Her ability is kinda like webs, she had that moment with hisoka where she said she would chase him around the world. I think her and Nobunaga survive the longest. I also think Tserrenedich will be obsessed with her

Hanzo vs Tserriednich Is such a good prediction I'll say one of my prediction is My Boy Babimyna Betraying Benjamin and joins Kurapika And his abilities reveal
If hisoka and kurapika were to team up, which is likely, they'd go after Tserreidneich, not Chrollo Don't feel like finding the timestamp, but the beyond+pariston theory to kill Issac only needs to be tweaked to their objective being to ultimately change the structure or leadership. They couldn't have planned to kill him like you say, but they could destabilize the association. We know that the association didn't implement the best plans for the ants, as if there were a reason to drag it out or impede on solving the problem.
my theory is at some point, the contagen ability will be the one that will bring back gon's nen, maybe the ability will spread outside of black whale 1, or maybe gon is already on the ship,
Kurapika could have killed Neon. He always disliked her, he’s clearly usurped the family and it would take a significant advantage from his mortal enemies the Spider.
Doesn't make sense. Kurapika is stated not to have killed anyone to get the eyes back in chapter 345. Makes no sense for him to break this simply to kill her? Especially since at that point, he was under the impression Chrollo couldn't use his abilities. This also betrays his development through Yorknew. He isn't revenge focused anymore and he has entered more a truce with the Troupe. Him killing a child (killing is not something he even likes to do and he took great suffering killing uvogin) simply for an advantage facing Chrollo again would betray his current character.
my theory is that all spiders but Illumi and Kalluto (because It makes sense to save them for Killua's plotline) and Nobunaga will die. Nobunaga wanting revenge would really help drill in the "cycle of violence" that the Spiders and Kurapika have going on. especially if Nobunaga manages to kill Kurapika after, having Leorio want to take revenge and unlock his true potential that Hisoka has always teased, and ends up killing Nobunaga, and in the end all that's left is emptiness.
I think that’s too pessimistic a story imo. Togashi likes for there to be hope in this story, and that’s what Kurapika’s arc has basically been leading to. I think most of the spiders will die in some Karmic sense, but maybe a member or two can have redemption of sorts. Machi and Nobunaga seem likely for that imo.
To comment on the guy that says kurapika isnt the last scarlet eye user i say to that: kurapikas clan is from the dark continent and they are striving and living there still but he wont be able to see it because he will die beforehand.

Another great vid guys. I enjoyed the theories and here are some of my thoughts. I can see the faith of the phantom troupe pre dark continent going either way. I’m more so under the opinion that Chrollo, Machi, Illumi and Kalluto will be the only survivors. I’m not sure about the Hisoka vs Illumi fight then Kalluto surviving/leaving the troupe cuz that would be a whole new can of worms Hisoka would have to deal with aka all of the Zoldyck family (tho he may welcome that knowing Hisoka lmao).
Without having yet watched this, what about Kurapika+Troupe reluctantly cooperating against Tse to take the eyes and to avenge Sarasa - doesn't Tse have possible involvement through his henchman that was skinning the women?
This is the theory I agree. Kurapika and Hisoka teaming up is so Yorknew that I don't think it's happening again especially that most fans agree with that. Togashi just loves subverting the majority's expectations. And what if really....that somehow Terror Sandwich was involved in both the Kurta and Sarasa murders? Kurapika's priority seems to have changed, too. He's on the hunt for his brethren's eyes, not Spiders. While the Troupe never bothered like this with Kurapika, unlike what they're doing with Hisoka.

Watching now - you theorize that Gon, Alluka, and Killua might go to the Dark Continent. But in the manga it says Gyro and Gon would eventually meet, so I think Gon is likely to encounter Gyro in meteor city, but IDK where Gon getting his nen back will factor in. Of course, it's also possible that Togashi will drop that story thread since he set it up so long ago. Edit: LOL at the "Rihan yapfest" comment.

Probably should have considering that it is definitely a pretty commonly discussed theory. It probably slipped our minds because I don’t think either of us particularly buy into it. There would be even more parallels between Kurapika whose clan was wiped out, and Chrollo whose friends/family have been wiped out.
@@baseball_tomorrow-sv9tk I can’t speak for Dylan but I (Kaige) personally love the idea of a somewhat peaceful resolution between Kurapjka and Chrollo. I think that would be a pretty brilliant subversion of expectations and a great way to end their character arcs. I just have a hard time seeing it actually happening. To me, Chrollo is just too far gone at this point to have a resolution like that, and even Kurapika is too far gone in a different kind of way. Although I do believe he can still change at least. Stuff like this would actually be great to talk about in a second theory video maybe after this upcoming batch of chapters is over. Evidentially that appears to be a while away given the amount of chapters we’re hopefully getting. But, I will keep note of the theories you’re brining up regardless.

Kurapika has an ability borrowing/stealing ability just like Chrollo does thanks to stealth dolphin. On the back of the dolphin is an inverted cross, and Chrollo has an inverted cross on his back (jacket). Finally, Togashi said he likes characters who don't want to be leaders but are chosen to be, just like how Chrollo became the Troupe leader, and just like how Kurapika was nominated by Melody and others to lead their group in Yorknew after Dalzollene died. Togashi has done parallels between characters before without them having to interact, like Gon and Meruem, so this isn't proof that Kurapika and Chrollo will be reluctant allies or even interact with each other, but it's food for thought!
There's no way Chrollo doesnt survive. My prediction is the last 2 Phantom Troupe members will be Chrollo and Machi. Chrollo will kill Hisoka brutally (will probably rip his heart out), maybe Hisoka plays one final joke with nen after death by trying to kill Machi with a rubber boquet (his heart is gone after all) and Chrollo sacrifices a limb to save her. After its all said and done Chrollo will want to rebuild the troupe as its his coping mechanism, Machi will not have it she will say its over and unfairly blame chrollo some for losing all their friends she will say that she refuses to waste the life she has left and tells chrollo he needs to accept its over, chrollo will probably almost lose his mind before drifting back to his home of meteor city at the end of the series. I do think Chrollo will die though helping Gon and Killua in Meteor City vs. Gyro. It's important that Chrollo suffers like Kurapika thematically and seeing Chrollo find himself again before the end would be great.
I agree both Hisoka disguise theories are stupid. I don't understand how people think that Hisoka is just sitting in front of the entire troupe and there to stupid to realize. Like they wouldn't ask to see him use his nen ability? The other one also makes 0 sense why would Chrollo go to the 1st tier.

Kinda surprise that nobody mentioned the Pariston is Sheila theory.
We actually did have that in the script at one point but we decided to cut it for the sake of being able to include more of our community's theories.
