What’s crazy is that it is still technically a sub-arc to The Dark Continent arc. Togashi is crafting the most intricate, complex, ven diagram in multiple ven diagrams story that has ever been created in fantasy genre.
swear to god i had the same feeling of watching early game of thrones, nobody is safe so many interesting characters, vilains against other villains, politics, mind games, king, princes battle royal, mafia families, traitors among the good guys all this while going on a boat to an extremely deadly place, it's just peak Shonen arc like i've never seen like it.
Is it worth it to watch Hunter x Hunter for the first time still in 2024 because I've never been interested about HxH before, but now I am, been watched it and surprised how freaking good it is a real SUCCESSION! 😮❤

He does the draft on paper with pencil and than inks the characters then it is passed to his assistants who do the backgrounds and effects. One of the background artist had replied during the previous batch of chapters also. Togashi does do the background sometimes he did the inking for the phantom troupe forest panel. He also goes to a chiropractor now. So everything is all good now 🥹
Thats the most sexist thing I've ever seen. Sailor Moon is a generational and very important series, and she's already helped with a ton of art already. Sit down and be a fan
maybe im getting older but a new continent with unknown horrors thats a threat to humanity for what they bring back home seems like the reverse effect of how colonialism works. I feel like the great calamities are just this artists personal fears kinda like HP lovecraft but anime. like the journey to the new world that is families killing each other for supremacy over the riches of the empire and the new world is literally european history in a nutshell
