- A state of emergency has been declared in Southern California as tropical Storm Hilary hits the state.
Millions of people are under flash flood warnings as torrential rains and high winds pummel towns.
It is the first such storm to hit the state in 84 years - with the record rains flooding Los Angeles and desert areas like Palm Springs and Death Valley.
School classes and flights have been cancelled, with landslides, downed trees and flooded homes reported.

It's not at all unusual for the desert areas of California to get an occasional heavy rain in the summer, but the rest of the state typically doesn't get any at all for the entire season. However, they do get heavy rains in the winter, as was seen earlier this year, so they know how to deal with it. That said, a summer tropical storm hitting the Golden State is really, really odd.

It was like that in Japan when Typhoon Lan hit. They showed a lot of people out and about in Osaka and Kyoto.

In the SE US, where I once lived, a tropical storm or Category 1 hurricane is either a yawn or like stubbing your toe. Cali isn’t used to it, so it’s a big deal to them. That said, Cali is much better at dealing with earthquakes and drought. Our country is so geographically diverse, Mother Nature has fun testing us.

@@user-by4gk3lx1f Here in Mira Loma/ Riverside area, it rained quite a bit and there are mud slides happening in the San Bernadine mountains bc of the storm but it’s definitely not any different than the weather we had this past winter. I would even say it’s mild compared to the rains we had this winter. And the wind? Feels like a nice breeze compared to the Santa Ana winds we get 😂
Southern California had far worse rain / snow issues last winter. Vegas got a little rain and wind. Loving the much cooler temperatures.

How can he declare state of emergency? It’s no different then many of the storms that we got last winter. The only difference is it came from the south in Summer instead of the north in Winter. This guy being interviewed should know this is hype.

@@annettespradlin4945 as far as I am aware, the only difference in naming between coasts is that the Pacific includes X, Y and Z names as they are likely to have more storms during the season so there's extra to fall back on if they get close to running out of letters, but neither use Q and U names. Both proceed through the alphabet in the same way otherwise. There are separate lists of names for either Atlantic or Pacific storms, and the set lists rotate, so many of the current names are those that were used in 2017. There are other little pieces of information, such as what happens if they run out of letters before the end of the storm, what the current list is, how the lists are chosen etc, but you can easily find all of this online if you're genuinely interested.
Death Valley becomes Life Valley, for a while...
It's windy in Cathedral city every other day. Flash floods in the desert in August are normal, it is monsoon season out there. Southern California got some rain and hardly any wind in areas that aren't already prone to wind. Thanks for the prayers but this was blown way out of proportion.
The Southwest USA has been in a drought for years. El Nino this year and this storm have been a blessing, not a disaster. The earthquake was nothing out of the ordinary either.
Reading the description under this video is interesting....Pummeled towns? Oh no, flooding in Death Valley. Think about that...Death Valley made the headline. You know why people don't flock to live in Death Valley? Don't get me wrong, Death Valley is a nice place to visit in December.

I'm 30 mins from LA we don't have any major floods were I live and we didn't feel the earthquake that came along with the Strom out here in the valley. I'm pretty much waiting to hear of landslides or potholes I'm not expecting floodings in my area but who knows. God knows we needed the rain and it should stop the fires we usually get in the summer. So as long as there isn't major flooding or another earthquake or mudslide it's kinda a win for the environment. I pray there aren't any casualties

Electric Weather Mechanics- One day people will have to accept that the weather (and just like the rest of reality) is electrical in nature and so give up on the ideas derived from 'standard model' guesswork.
To start to get a handle on this, we have to go back to basics, with the retaliation that because all atoms are made of protons (positive charge) and electrons (negative charge), all atoms are then, actual electric fields (a separation of charge) within themselves.
And with that and as far as the weather, as well as everything else within earth's biofield is concerned, that there is a Voltage differential between the generally negatively charged earth and positively charged ionosphere, rising by about 100 Volts per meter up through the atmosphere. Plus, that charged particles in an electric field- accelerate and move in a spiral motion.
So, this means that what we think of as the Atmospheric 'Highs' and 'Lows' are the major electrical currents running through our atmosphere, with the interaction between the currents creating our weather.
With the 'Lows' being the positively charged input currents and the 'highs' being the peaks of the returning negative current field. With the 'Lows' (new positive inputs) having to drill their way through the negatively charged overall field radiating from the earth. With the earth then, having to radiate more negative charge, in order to try and reach a state of charge equilibrium within the sun's electrical circuit.
An electric vacuum cleaner spins by way of an electric motor and it is its high spin rate that creates low air pressure and so making the cleaner suck and likewise, it’s not the Low pressure creating the movement through the atmosphere. But instead, its the spinning charge through the atmosphere that is creating the low pressure.
As the positively charged 'Lows' move down through the negatively charged water ladened atmosphere. With the electrically salty liquid having been lifted from the oceans. With it then pulling in the water vapor from the negative field, squeeze it together with the new positive input and short, within the spinning 'Low' and so then, produce semi-liquid (cloud) and if there is enough water vapor in the atmosphere, then fully condensed rain.
This consequently means that heat, air pressure etc are by-products of the interaction between the electrical currents and not the driver of our weather. This obviously goes against the 'Global Warming' agenda, with the climate changing being down to the changes in the electrical output from the sun.
Outside of the earth/ionosphere circuit as well as the sun/earth circuit, we see magnetic fields throughout deep space and there is only one thing that makes magnetic fields and that is electricity. Even a permanent magnet has to have charge shot through the metal, so to align the atoms within the metal in a series configuration and so creating a magnetic pile and turning the metal, into a magnet.
Yes a change in consciousness and a return to a forensic and empirical way of going about science is going be a massive problems to many and who have to just rely on their qualifications to have respect. But should just trying to save reputations and incomes for a few override humanity moving forward and progressing?
