I'm 13, and I was cooking rice for the first time, and this really helped.
(My mom's rice is always soggy)
Edit: I got a rice cooker and it's way better.
Edit: 14 now

Great job! 👍
Wonderful!
This was my first time making rice on my own and it turned out perfectly! This method is so simple and amazing, thank you! 🤗
Awesome! I’m happy to hear that ❤️
Yep! Perfect!
I’ll be trying out this method 💯
Awesome!
Thanks
I’m not using rice cooker cos I usually cook for myself in a small amount. Too bad it needs 20 minutes just to cook rice for myself lol
Haha! Well you can freeze it in portions. Defrost and then reheat it in the microwave. One time cooking for several times eating 😂
Interesting. No pre-soaking and no heating rice with the water. Completely different to how I make basmati!
Because this is for jasmine rice, not basmati 😉.
That rice does look perfect though
Thanks!

I think my store bought jasmin rice doesn’t need to rinse as rinsing makes it mushy from water absorption it’s already clean
Good for you! Not all jasmine rice are the same, it’s good to know what ours is like.
Try rinsing it and you'll notice a difference...
