Even with a GSXR 600, under the passenger seat I can fit a small med pouch with a tourniquet, gauze, trauma shears etc. Also a good microfiber rag comes in handy when wiping off your helmet visor, deal with various leaks and can be used to put pressure on wounds too. The stock tool kit roll can be beefed up with zip ties, small patch kit etc. Just gotta be creative with the space you have.

I carry most of that stuff on my NC750X DCT. I'm retired from Garmin and have an Edge 530 bicycle GPS which I use on both my bicycle and my motorcycles. I added a 'Moto' mode and downloaded routeable OpenStreet maps so I now have a little mini-GPS on the handlebar that I can just twist off and put in my pocket when I leave the bike. I also carry a tool kit, Harbor Freight handheld compressor powered by a hand tool battery, visor cleaning supplies, rain gear sometimes, a couple of full water bottles, and snacks. Plus some colorful shop towels.

CamelBak or some other equivalent water backpack! I bicycle as well, and I've had the "joy" of running out of water in my bottle with no water source nearby in the middle of my ride because it got a lot hotter than I expected. While you aren't peddling on a motorcycle, the heat can still be pretty bad on those hot days; pull over and take a swig, or if you're have a 3/4 or less helmet you could just drink while you ride. A CamelBak may inhibit some air flow out of the back of your jacket (depending upon the style), but I'd take a little extra sweating over being dehydrated.

In addition to my riding gear, I have:
Metric Toolkit with added hex sockets, hex drill bit set, and T-handle hex wrench for every single nut/bolt etc on the bike (that I know of)
Lightweight jumper cable kit with battery pack
2 fuel bottles inside webbing strap bottle holders for easy strapping to frame, for total of half gallon/two liters.
1 QT of oil, with collapsable, disposible paper funnels (which can also be used for gas)
1 Spark plug (bike only has 1)
2 tire repair kits: a tire puncture repair kit with air cannisters, AND a can of tube sealant for tube punctures
2 power banks for charging devices (10,000 and 70,000 mAh - former is the size/weight of a phone, latter is slightly larger and 5 lbs, only bring if i'm camping)
2 10' ratchet tie down straps
    8 Bungie cords
Bike cover with hidden alarm in the cover (Dowco)
    High quality earplugs with case
    Cheap chinese bluetooth headset+speakers
I rarely even bring half of these except on long trips, but most of it is pretty lightweight. Even if I don't use this stuff for a decade, I'll always have it around for when I do need it. I'll add zip ties to this lol. I bought all of this for less than $400 and it can all fit in my tailbag or saddlebags with lots of room to spare.

My bag isn't water proof, so I have to add panniers with water tight linings if I need to carry anything that must stay dry. but that is a case of deciding how big they need to be... Got my first bike this past spring, and sadl6 it was a Harley V-Rod Muscle, a 2009. Told myself I would get all the gear before driving it, and just about have all the gear. So I am interested in what this list has. I've been considering getting saddle bags and a battery tender, Nico5 or 10 with a case. Not sure what would all fit in the bags though.

Pantyhose -- I grew and learned to ride in England and I often got trapped in bad weather. Pantyhose does a great job of keeping your legs (and nuts) warm coming home at night, even in the rain.

Hmm...my RS660 didn't come with a tool kit and there's only enough room under the seat for a disk lock.
