@@mammibrasil80 Try these tips, keep offering other foods in various ways and don't give up after 1 or 2 tries sometimes it can take a while for them to try new things or like more fruits and veggies!

Hello, Paulus here. Next weekend I'll be picking up my weaned Green Cheeked from the breeder!!! I've been following your channel for quite some time now. And I LOVE THEM!!! I do have a few questions if I may. I seen your videos of when you brought Mango home. But my Elwood is weaned. So how much "portion" wise did/do you feed? I intend on doing chop in the morning (by birdtricks) "got to love the digital download" and Tops pellets in evening. With your birds being weaned did you still do just the two meals throughout the day? I just want to do right by Elwood to have a happy healthy long lived and loved bird. I mean after all they need is LLLOOOVVVEEEE. I'm just afraid I guess that I'm not going to be feeding enough either portion size or amount of meals. Your colorful fellow flocker, Paulus Taylor
Hey! 👋🏻 you must be so excited to bring Elwood home!😊 In this video I explain more on how I feed my birds during the day ruclips.net/video/mraYFgWsq-U/видео.html but I will do a daily routine video that includes how much I feed them. I actually give chop in the morning and the afternoon - with pellets as well but if I’m being honest nowadays there are pellets always readily available because they don’t spoil so I have them out and they get eaten so I fill up with new pellets each day. (A little bit is best so you can offer fresh ones each day) I like to always have something available in case they are hungry. 😊 Mia eats all her daily pellets and chop 😃 oh yes and throughout the day I offer a snack like a kabob or birdie bread, millet or nuts during training

Great tips, I tired the one with adding his pellets to his chop, then I crushed them up and sprinkle them on his veggies, no do, my bird will not eat veggies, will eat very little pellets during the day, but give him mango bits and apples he will chew those up, what other way of getting him to eat veggies, help!
Meh, I just put chopped veggies in his food bowl in the evening since he does eat very early in the morning. He likes to get up around 2 or 3am to snack on stuff. He is an eccentric Green cheek conure.

The sweet potato is usually a good one! or egg yolk! Or you can try to drizzle the juice of a fresh apple instead of a mash on the veggies:)

my pinapple conure they day i got him just loved veggies so easy to cinvert he like veggies more than seed .
That’s great! Every birdie is different some are more difficult than others it’s great for them to eat lots of veggies!🙃🙂

My conure does not like nuts. Ca birds be allergic to some foods, like humans?
