    For some reason I really enjoy making chop for my bird. Even more than that, I am VERY bad at cooking for humans but at the same time a decent bird chop maker😅
    Hope you have a good day!!!

    I just got a budgie on Saturday. All my other ones only ate a seed only diet and I want this guy to eat a bit healthier. I put a little bit of chop ontop of his seeds this morning but he just picked around it to eat his seeds. Any tips. He's about 9 weeks old

      Maybe try intoducing them to pellets, since that's healthier than seeds, also avoid the colored pellets try to get the normal brown or tan colored ones. Over the course of 1 to 7-10 days maybe even longer (depends on your bird) add less and less seeds. I have also been trying to get my parakeet to eat veggies with no luck yet, but I will be trying the chop method and also the pellets.

    Hey! I noticed your pans, are they non-stick? Just in case I wanted to bring to your attention that cooking with those can kill your bird! Look it up for more information, I would hate to see this happen! If they aren’t non-stick then ignore me 😂 great video!

    Oh wow that chop looks delicious 😋 my little budgie loves cucumber the most lol I read its good for there feathers and he also loves spinach but I try not give him that every day as I also read its not good for them to eat every day? But I might have read wrong cos there's so many different rules out there it's crazy 😂 also am looking into chia seeds to add to my chop as it's really good in calcium apparently ❤

      If you divide it in small bags that have 1 weeks worth you can freeze it for 6 months if not longer I'm still pulling out a new bag each week and defrosting!!

    Heyy I love your channel! can you please give a few tips and tricks on taming a budgie? I have two and they would step up onto my finger but not come out of the cage

    • @anypine24
      @anypine24 3 года назад +1

      What I did with my two budgies is to get them on your finger and then slowely move your finger out of the cage and once they’re out put them on a safe place like a play stand, on top of their cage or someplace like this were they can be. They will probably try to get back into their cage (well mine did) you can help them back in to show them you are there to help them. :)
      After a few goes at this they will probobly become less scared of coming out and you can just leave the cage open for them to come out on their own. If they come out you can start recall training them as well as toach training if you haven’t started already.
      You have to be patient as it can take up to a year or more to fully bond with your budgie.
      :D good luck
      (P.s. to get a budgie back in the cage at night, get them in before they are getting ready for sleep, so before it’s dark outside and they are puffed up in a sleeping way since I find that they don’t want millet and intern you will find it very difficult to put them back.)

      @@katherineso2492 l can help you l had a have a buggie like that so what you want
      To do is put your tame buggie out of the cage and when your tame buggie is out of the cage then you want to get some treats that they really like and don't put your finger there so they step up because they will fly away from your finger put your hand flat and putt the treats in your palm and just keep your hand in there and trust me they will jump on your hand and after they are comfortable with being on your hand you want to take your tame buggie and tell him to step up and then put your hand back in the cage ask him or her to step up and if he doesn't do it its fine. and ask your tame buggie to step up and eventually your untame buggie will step up. and remember every buggie has his own learning past some will learn slow some will be faster hope this helped you and your buggie and ☺☺☺

    Davey is actually a girl! BirdTrick's seasonal feeding system is really great however it should be mainly leafy greens, carrots and cauliflowers are great for them however they should eating lots of greens! I also suggest to not freeze chop for budgie because when thawing, the chop becomes wet and budgies are from the Australian deserts, so they aren't going to be huge fans of wet chop.
