    I find it hard to spend a lot of money on any quartz watch, but I think for the Tank I would make an exception. As opposed to the Tank Solo, the Tank Must large has the same shape and dimensions as the Tank Louis. And while there are other options - the Française, the Américaine - the Tank is the Tank. Timeless classic. This design is just right at this size.

    • @OneManReviews

      It is a high price to pay for a quartz watch indeed. But with the Tank it works for some reason.

    • @JohnSmith-qx8ll
      @JohnSmith-qx8ll 9 месяцев назад +4

      Why? Quartz is awesome. Always ready to go, much more shock proof / durable, etc. it’s good to have both auto’s & quartz in one’s collection.

      @@thano9465 yes & yes :)
      Quartz watches are great. More accurate and durable when withstanding shock, etc. It will still be running if you don’t wear it for a few days, and the new batteries last a very long time. It’s also easier to count down the seconds which is useful in more tactical applications. Everyone should have a quartz or two in their collection.

    55 year watch enthusiast... Cartier or JLC, make an excellent choice! In my opinion, this size is very good for a classy gentleman, and it can be worn everyday and in all occasions. Bravo!
    I have worn a Piaget Protocole for over 35 years, similar size. No problem! I like prefer enamel white dials with black Roman numerals. Trends seem to indicate that smaller watches will be in higher demand as time goes by. I bought it on the bracelet, and it feels much more substantial. The bracelet is well finished, solid, and definitely lends to the feel of substance. I also bought the automatic version. With the addition of the rotor and mechanical parts, it also gives the watch a bit more "heft.." As for the size? It doesn't look out of place on my 7.5 inch wrist. It's not huge, but I don't think a dress watch should be. That said I love the IWC Portofino manual wind, at 45mm, but its an exception!

    The Tank Must Large is perfect dimensions for a tank. It's supposed to be small and elegant. I absolutely love the size of the large tank must. anyone who says it's a women's watch or is too small for straight men (looking at you andersbomortensen757 and OkieSilverDude) have a major inferiority complex and aren't comfortable with smaller watches nor their own sexuality. Muhammed Ali wore a a tank with the same dimensions, and plenty of other historical icons have a wore a tank with the same dimensions as well. The Tank Must Large is the proper historical size and wears as such. If you want the bigger tank then go for the XL. But this is still man's watch that poises absolute class and elegance. You don't need a big watch to be a man, or to be straight. Same goes for those who prefer a DJ 36 instead of a 41. The DJ 36 is the classic size. Those who bash that and compensate with the 41 when the 36 fits them just fine are just insecure. Some wrists may be very large to a point where the tank large or DJ36 does look too small, but even then, you wear what you like and don't care what anybody else says.

      The size is Not tge only issue with this watch. The fact it's a Battery operated watch for the Cost is a pure scam to me. That's why it feels so flimsy and Cheap. It's a $100 Seiko with an Iconic name printed on it. The xl is a proper automatic of course. As far as size, this gentleman doesn't seem to have a particularly large Wrist and it still simply looks ridiculous on him imo. The Rolex you may be correct about?

      @@highwaystar3780 so the battery is high autonomy and lasts 6-8 years with amazing accuracy. I don't mind it being quartz and still 3K because you're still paying for the cartier brand at the end of the day. It's a great set it and forget it. If you want the quartz JLC reverso at more than double the cost of the quartz tank is a bigger scam to me.

      @joshuakaplan5726 I understand but I refuse to change another battery ever Again. Or walk around with a watch that can die any Second anywhere. @@OneManReviews yes but if you have small wrists and wearing a small Watch its is very feminine. Then i would find a more maskuline Watch, but thats my opinion…

      Not true. Datejust, explorer 36, Calatrava 33... All are classic watches for men.

      @@OneManReviews Thank you so much! I think it's on the limit of being too large for you. I have a 20cm wrist and I just ordered the small tank. It's strange how subjective this size opinion is!
