Media reports that btwn 75 top stars, 200 companies/studios under their names have closed recently. Compilation shows # of companies (incl. closed companies) under celebs, top 3 being Huang Xiaoming (43), Zhang Ziyi (29), & Chen Kun (25) and Yang Yang , Bai Jing Ting, Deng Chao, Jing Boran, Meng Meiqi, & Wu Xuanyi.
Thanks to their scandal they are bringing to light a very alarming issue in the industry, tax evasion I was going to hold off on a video until the investigations are over but perhaps I’ll just make a part 3

Great👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Video Cdrama!, you did a fantastic job researching Zheng Shuang scandal. 1st time watching Zheng Shuang was in " Cage of Love " with Hawick Lau and I love it!. When the Gov. starts digging into your financial statements/contacts your pretty much a done deal. I truly believe her parents played a huge part with this Money Laundering and it was probably their idea. This makes the fans/Public wonder on how many other popular Entertainers in China are actually doing this type of " Ying Yang Contracts.Cdrama once the Gov. gets done with Zheng Shaung case. I believe their going to investigate other high profile popular Actors as well. I hate to say this... but the Chinese Gov. is going to make Zheng Shaung " The Tax Evasion Poster Girl !" a lesson of what not to be.
As for her children and Ex.Partner... Both are wrong and inmature on how they both handle their separation!. It seems like her Ex. wants her to take the fall for everything, calling her out!. All this mess could of been avoided if they both handled their relationship issues like Adults. Working In the entertainment industry 1 or 2 dirty scandals will end an Actors Career!.

I definitely agree I believe the Chinese government is being extra harsh with Zheng shuang's case to make an example out of her. If top star Fan Bing Bing had implications before no doubt they will expose ZS all the way too. We'll have to hang on and see who else are doing this with the investigation.

I don’t know what to say about Zheng Shuang case, but I still wish her to come back in entertainment. We have a forgiving God, why were human being couldn’t forgive? Do we have a higher standard of forgiveness than our creator?

It's a sad situation for her because she's a good Actress on screen. I truly believe as I mention in my own comment, her parents played a huge role in this money laundering. Her personal business with her Ex. and children could of been handle in a respectable mature manner. Sadly her Dirty Laundry got to the media and public!.

We all know she's a great actress and all but were talking about human lives darling. I know a lot of people can forgive Zheng Shuang but some cant still let the scandal sink in and im one of them, even tho im not a mother i can also feel disgust by her actions like why even are u having a child not just one but TWO children if you cant even take care of them like a mother would like can you imagine if the two boys grow up and heard about this scandal...They can be bullied, for example calling them "MISTAKE" and "ABONDONED" by there own mother ughhh...One phrase for HER "Just dont fcking make a child if you cant even take care or even love them"
Precisely because we're only humans, not God. Leave the forgiveness for the creator, we must keep our bar a but higher if we want society to function properly.

I’m so impressed that the Chinese are steadfast in their moral virtues, i.e. if actors commit illegal acts, have affairs if married, etc... the public condemn them and they lose contracts, deals etc... It’s the same with Thai and Korean public. It’s an Asian thing?

It's all about " Morals & Respect !" with the Asian Culture and other Cultures as well. When Actors commit a crime or scandal their reputation and career is over, and their scandals are plastered for all to see as an example. Just like any other citizen who commits a crime etc. The justice system in China is a bit harsh, but fair is fair!.

owo I think it's more so related to political stability; if someone doesn't confide w the status quo they are punished. sometimes the reasons aren't even completely detrimental or harmful to society. I'm asian american and work and lived in both places and tbh, every political system has it's dark side and uphold so called values when it suits their political and economical agenda. Korea is probably the best out of the ones u listed in having a system that actually serves the people and may at times be morally upright. Still corrupt.

i was under the impression that she had already announced her retirement from acting early this yr becaz of the scandal with her kids.
I hope she will come back, but it is very difficult. Zheng Shuang is just a person struggling in the entertainment industry. However, there are many people who are jealous of Zheng Shuang in the Chinese entertainment industry. Zheng Shuang's misfortune will make them profit, and they will do everything possible to prevent her from returning. This is how rumors are generated. They will spread false news and make people hate Zheng Shuang.
Probably not any time soon. Fan Bing Bing is a bigger actress than her and she hasn’t made a comeback even after paying all the fines in tax evasion case. But good news is Zheng Shuang is young so maybe after the issue died down and she has paid the fines (if it’s proven that she did broke the law) it is not impossible for her to return especially when there’s strong fan support for her. Who knows maybe she can make a career in Hollywood while she is still banned in China.
If she gets on the good side of the CCP, she still has a chance. Who knows, after a few years in cold storage, may be the CCP can find some use of her, but then again she would be superceded by younger, more beautuful actresses.
