I love the reductive nature of this drama. While there's so much going on around and amongst them, it is basically a classic 'boy meets girl' story. The pacing was good as well. You can start watching it, and before you know it, you're on episode 38. The mixture of drama and humor is nicely balanced. It's a very nice drama.😊

I agree. I like how the drama never lost its focus on the relationship of the leads. There are dramas that concentrate on plots or themes and there are those that concentrate on character, but there are those that try to do everything all at once and becomes a whole mess. I like how the creators of this one were brave enough to give us a very thin plot (e.g. the political struggle is just given in a one liner text), but a whole lot of details of the mundane and ordinary. This feels like a costume slice of life drama. And double thumbs up on the strong female lead that is still very respectful and kind to her husband. my personal fave quote which I think sums up the drama is from mian tang: "I dont want you to forget that worry and toil are not what we are after. We should enjoy our lives." I think this is the philosophy of the creators, so they did not care about the politics and focused more on the joys of daily life (e.g. ample time for the sweetest wedding)

I dont have high expectation when I tried to watch,but I like the premise. And then really really love this drama..I even buy express vip to watch it faster and re-watching many of the episodes I thought previously no drama this year will exceed the CP in princess royal..but eventually this CP is very sweet and really love love it.. Becoming the fans of Zhang wan Yi after this drama ❤ acknowledge his good acting since LYF but here he is shinning more as Lord Huaiyang😊

Totally agree - their chemistry was beautiful. It was refreshing to see a couple work through everything and not only love each other, but like each other. I'm a big fan of the second couple too (so sweet and a bit angsty with her crazy father). 😘

i need a season 2; the drama's faceoffs are so intense and its not just guys flying through the air with no storyline. So much intrigue and character building goes on.

Agree one of the strongest written female leads and romantic stories. I loved the "slower" start to it too, but yes i thought the politics was a bit rushed. Haha ML's aunt getting slapped at the end by his mother was so satisfying!

Great drama but , a few loose ties! What happened to he pregnancy?

Are these allegations true or are these from people who are just jealous and nasty? It is one thing if there is evidence to back up but so many seems to be toxic people who destroy a reputation for the hell of it. All you need is a whisper of rumor from some looney toon and someone is smeared and their life is destroyed.

Memories of Golden Age is excellent so far. Depending on how it continues it could very well be in my top 5 for the year.

great drama fantastic acting .. chemistry between ML and FL was good but a poor romance .. loved the drama until the MLs bodyguards were killed off then my interest in the ending diminished.. i did watch until the end but i wasn’t impressed…

If you Love someone from the bottom of your heart , age difference should not matter, I speak from experience !!

I love Love Better Than Immortality. I know they sweat a lot cuz it was hot when filming but is good and you get past that. I also feel for Li Hong Yi. He needs a different company that will promote him. Last big hit was Blood of Youth. I think he is a great actor. I also love him in The Legendary life Queen Lau. And idk why they still got him in Winner is King. Is like we will never see that one am sad. I was hoping before I die they would release it.

Update: Zhang Hao wei has suspended his activities until the investigation is over Also continued with Dawn with breaking it's not bad. Cheesy low budget but still fun

Spoilers coming do not read my post if you do not want to be spoiled … Lost you forever season one is probably my favorite Chinese drama of all time. I was thoroughly disappointed with season two. Too much focus on the war, the attack on Jing was not the gut wrenching scene I was expecting, the sacrifices of Xiaolu were not fully presented, the reunion of the female lead and Jing was so anti-climatic, their wedding was pathetic, the emperor following the female lead around like a lost puppy instead of ruining his kingdom, I could go on and on. What the hell happened?!!!!

She doesn’t look Asian more like Western and European !!! Angela is a German Name .

I couldn't stay with Love's Rebellion. But, Are You the One is good. There's a brief few episodes where it gives Mr. And Mrs. Smith vibes. I hope it continues on this track. It's very good. 😊

LYFS2 is not good. S1 is much better. The acting is great, especially Yang Zi and Zhang Wan Yi, but the delivery and the plot were so confused at time it felt messy and rushed. Deng Wei’s character was so weak and it didn’t show how he was rescued. His came back was so erupted which didn’t make sense. Overall, I didn’t like it much.

New to your channel! Love this review! I also stopped watching by honestly episode 15 or so. I honestly wish they dragged out second chance romance a little longer (the whole I don’t like you but I know you because I’ve lived with you for 20+ years). Because by after episode five, it was just another regular C drama romance. and yeah I’m not a fan of ZhangLingHe being a simp. I thought everyone felt one dimensional, except for the princess who had all of the thought put into her personality and no one had put any thought into anyone else

Beautiful tragedy, worth watching. I am on s half way through 1. season, but because of great acting, story I'll finish it. From beginning I know that it will 💔. Li Xian with WILL LOVE IN SPRING and SHOOTING STARS is on my list favourite 2024 dramas, can't wait watching him in a costume one Flourished Peony❤. ARE YOU THE ONE Zhang Wan Yi and Wang Chu Ran, one of favourite couples. 🤞 that story isn't messed up like Fighting for love, still recovering from that one. Joy of life ( Joy of watching) and Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty 🌟. After Coppola's Dracula SNOW FALL is my favourite vampire story, butchered by censorship, still brilliant acting, cinematography, atmosphere, styling. Vengo Gao and Nana Ouyang delivering this characters is memorable. People didn't like because novel and drama has different end😂, but I love this story when vampires are more human from people ❤ THANK YOU 🤩

Don't agree with your take on Ding Wei's character. Yes, he is totally devoted to her but he has another life as head of his family and his actions make it possible for Xiyan Cang Xuan, her cousin/brother, to become the king/emperor of all those territories/tribes.Am also enjoying Are You The One.
