    What weight jigs do you think is good to throw from the rocks? I have been there once but I really want to revisit that area and catch some solid fish

      Thanks mate! Seaway is alot of fun to fish sometimes when it's not chockers. The light setup I had 2-5lb 6ft Major craft rod with a 2500 Ci4 stradic spooled with 10lb fluro straight through. Medium set up was 8-14lb 7ft St Croix rod with a old 4000 stradic with 20lb braid 20lb leader.

    Hey mate do you remember the wind speed, tides and moon phase of this video I've recently started fishing the seaway out of my kayak but with it being so rough it makes it difficult this day looks perfect I just don't know what it would be like

    • @mattybkrun1213
      @mattybkrun1213  3 года назад +1

      It was a pretty spot on day for it, had no wind, neap tide and swell under a metre. In a yak it would be pretty difficult to fish it properly especially on weekends. I don't fish the Broadwater or canals at all on the weekends as the fish tend to go into hiding and too many jet skis and tinny rats otherwise.

      @@mattybkrun1213 I love fishing in the yak on the weekends but especially on public holidays it is especially dangerous because of jet skis and tinnie rats I've been out into the seaway a few times on shitty days but it's always fun
