I built my MPi-KM many years ago. Very similar to yours. Has the bakelite lower handguard. I was surprised at how light it feels compared to other AKMs.
I love the look, bought a set and instead of the wood upper handguard, I found the bakelite version and I'm currently running it on my SAR-1 since I can't afford to get an East German AK.
Really very nice. I did the later furniture kit on a wasr10. 1987 if I remember correctly. Kns etcetera. Put the 74esque flash hider. Very light very soft shooting. Sold with the collection. It was actually my favorite akm. Sometimes miss it. Did the same with some matching furniture on my jack 5.56. I've noticed that the bake/ plastic gas tube and hand guards are very expensive and also becoming hard to find. Not going to let the jack go easily. Buttstocks are everywhere. Great video.
As many AK mags as I own I only have one surplus mag pouch and it's the east German one just like that witch I originally learned it's origin from your video on AK mag pouches
I was always willing to pay more for a numbers matching kit, then the scrubbed kits disappeared, and that was it. Welp I didn't get the 47 but I did get a matching 74 so I guess it balances out
Pretty cool, I love me. Some kit builds East German one I don't have due to obvious reasons, but that's okay. It appears somebody has one now and if you're able to push that barrel in that far by hand they probably need an oversized barrel. Too bad I didn't get into these A long time ago otherwise i'd probably have piles of them in my storage as well. Thanks for the video.
I really wanted that kit i was the second highest bidder i didn’t think that guy was gonna keep going
He paid for it w/o issue too. I included a barrel and mag pouch as little bonuses for him for rather obvious reasons.
What'd go for?
@@harrisonshreve3695 If the highest bidder got a barrel and mag pouch he probably got it up to like 2k maybe more, just my 2 cents though.
I got a Bulgarian type 3 Aks kit it came with an Eg pistol grip and is even named on the manifest.
You just weren’t as about it man, Gota pay to play
Your collection never disappoints misha

Thanks so much for the pictures; what a video! Appreciate the bit at the end too
I totally agree on your barrel choice
Thanks for showing this.
I especially enjoy the East German content on your channel.
Awesome video as always. Always enjoy your extensive knowledge on EG MPi guns whatever the model.
Beautiful.
I love the DDR furniture.
Light, well made and comfortable.
Nice kit!

Very, Very Nice! That will be a super nice gun when put back together. Impossible to find a kit like that today almost?
Just bought my fb barrel for my eg kit tonight. I’m going to have it hot blued.
That's a gorgeous kit! Nice shirt too Misha. Woo pig

Thanks Misha....... .
Nice job on the still HD photos. Cheers!
Loved to have stocked up years back.
This is the first time I've seen you without your sun glasses.
That clip was from a decade ago. The full video is still up on here too.
Time stamp?

Freaking sweet check that out.
4 years ago I saw a near complete '62 parts kit being sold as a bundle for $25. I think about that a lot.
Seriously, how?
@@nicholasstilley2370 honestly? When covid hit I was broke and I had maybe $15 on me at the time.
The dislikes were from West Germany.
I might have a East German plastic lower hand guard laying around.

Any info on the srubbed kit? and is it worth throwing an OG EG barrel on them ?
How much money did you guys bet for it if you don’t mind me asking?
The Summer of 69 Trunnion 😀😊😮 Awesome Kit Misha 😊😎
East Germany produced some serious junk. This is the Trabi of AKs
5k for an East German kit that’s not a 74 is pretty insane lol… at least you made good on it tho… that guy must have really wanted one.. 😅
