    German engineering is the best, i own several sewing machines of Adler from the 90s once my factory caught fire and the machines were exposed to fire and water , i thought the machines are destroyed but after oiling everything was working as normal. My father use to visit germany in the early 90s and bought alot of german machines and hand power tools which are working to this day.

    We love German made weapons in the United States but I just wish they didn't cost so much. The pistols aren't that bad it's the rifles. A gun I have wanted for a long time made by H&K goes all day long for $4000.00 The H&K MR762A1, and it's $7000.00 for the H&K MR762A12 LRP III. 4:12 The P8 (known as the USP everywhere else) is such a cool pistol. I watched a video on RUclips from "Military Arms Channel" where this guy puts it through its paces, using all different types of ammunition, submerging it in mud, water, etc., and it still fired like nothing. I think there may have been a stoppage or two, but mind you, an actual soldier, officer, etc. would never abuse their weapon like this, so it's pretty much guaranteed to work under every realistic condition.
    They're also the pistols Lara Croft uses in the first two Tomb Raider movies (specifically the USP Match variant). And it was used by Vincent (the contract killer) in Collateral. This is my dream pistol for sure.

      “You can have it fast, you can have it good, you can have it cheap: pick two” , PSA, Aero make guns that aren't meant to stand more then a couple thousands rounds. On my HK M27 IAR, I ran over 5000 rounds in a few months, it was cleaner then my M16A4 with 100 rounds while being more accurate using standard issued AP/API rounds. PSA and Aero aren't doing this level of quality control.

    • @LuvBorderCollies
      @LuvBorderCollies 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@namenotfound8747Neither here nor there. A vintage Colt SP-1 or M16A1 will easily push out several thousand rounds before cleaning. If a soldier cleans their rifle every day it will never get over-fouled in a combat zone. My brother in law and his company cleaned their M16s and M60s before dark (25th Inf Div Jan-Dec 69)every day without fail. VC would only work in the dark and if you were tagged for outside the wire patrol that night you better be flippin ready. This is originally an American design by Eugene Stoner, but with a Piston versus the Gas system. I used to work in the firearms industry and actually met some reps from HK and attended the Indy 500 with one. Had a great time. All HK products are outstanding as are most German firearms. I'm a huge fan of Walther Pistols as well.

    I see a lit of mad comments here. Most of them complaining about the AR being an american platform.
    Yeah. But Colt builded a peace of sh*t. Thats why US Special Forces worked with H&K together to compare the G36 piston to a AR-15 platform.
    I don't get the problem. They took the best of the G36 and the best of the AR-15 (The body) to built one of the most successful assault rifles in history.
    Americans could also be proud of that.
    It's a collaboration and not an expensive copy.
    Not like the Coharie Arms CA-415 which is an exact copy of the HK416.
    But American companies cannot be sued for patent rights in the international market because they are the superpower.

This is well known fact. If you look it up you will find it says exactly "Eugene Morrison Stoner (November 22, 1922 - April 24, 1997) was an American machinist and firearms designer who is most associated with the development of the ArmaLite AR-15 rifle that was redesigned and modified by Colt's Patent Firearm Company for the United States military as the M16 rifle it does not say he invented or designed it in any way. He simply took the Canadian Idea and design and tried to make it better which sadly did not happen and resulted in the US military suffering break downs and losses in huge numbers due to the poor quality and unreliability of the AR and the M16 platforms. What is H&K doing in a piston gun that Carl Lewis at lmt didn't do a decade before, as KAC and LMT were damn near one in the same in the early years of the war on terror due to lmt sub contracting sr25 parts for Reid Knight. What does a 4-5k H&k get you that a JP LRP in 6.5 or 7.62 that the jp didn't spank the shit out of in the military trials..... ohhh yeah the brilliant germans kept the T charging handle 👌 👏 one of the shitty charging handle was deleted by John Paul on his large frame gas gun as it seals the upper and allows for the jp rifle to have a side charger on the left side of the receiver---- BUT--- the US military in all their wisdom said that wasn't part of the contact specs and submission requirements. Despite the fact every prs shooter state side can tell you that for 5k their is no comparison get a jp, got more cash get a geissele mrgg as that is what Socom just picked 6.5k , want military reliability but only got a couple grand get a LMT MWS just like the British military, the mws and lmt has FAR more military contracts than hk and they dont price gouge or hate their customer not to mention lmt rifles are ambi, barrels can be changed by the end user and you can have a barrell spun up in any cal of your choosing, and oem barrels can be bought in DI and Piston variants- what options does hk give? Oh yeah just the 1 they want to set their machines for max profit, not max end user capability ( as many LMT rifles now go to military contracts from Estonia, UK, Australia, New Zealand, the list goes on.)...... your stereotype about the Germans doing everything better isn't always true, they just always have high quality standards, but you will always pay for it in the price tag thanks to their dumbass politics and political policies aka almost 20% sales tax 😂

      @@natospecops no shit I clean it every time after range day just as I do to my other firearms. You are just an HK apologist touting subpar products as perfection. Learn critical thinking skills, sheep. HK don’t give a damn about US market and their products are subpar compared to many other domestic producers and foreign counterparts. MR556 from them have quality issues all the time as well as their other offerings. They have an arm and leg for cheaply produced parts because of people like you giving them credit where it’s not due

    There is a good reason most Europeans acknowledge Germans as our engineering leaders.
    Very resolute and pragmatic, with a noticeable common sense approach to almost everything, th Germans are truly engineering giants.

    7:03 Number of test shot per rifle: 45,000 shots / 1,600 rifles = ~29 shots per rifle! And we're talking about personalized rifle for commando types here. Adequate testing?

    It's the same overall philosophy applied in other german industries like Porsche, Mercedes, etc, only in this case applied in the production of weapons.
