The best engine in this car would be the 503E if it was only about time, but it would not be the best car it could be without the 2JZ in it.

why put such a heavy engine in a time attack car? why not a coyote swap
for better grip
The engine would add weight to the front, reducing grip in the rear where it is needed. An LS3 aluminum block is about the same weight as the FA20 engine, maybe lighter. That would of been a better choice.
+PowerSports a coyote weighs less than the LS3.........
