As others have said, this is incredibly misleading. Saleen is a performance company, so by calling something a "Saleen Performance" model, it would imply that that model has upgraded engine and drivetrain components that are reminiscent of the Saleen brand promise. Perhaps intercoolers, air flow control, performance programming, etc. None of this exists. And while companies like Saleen also make/sell parts purely for aesthetic reasons, I don't believe there's a single Saleen part on this Bronco Sport. It's the same as if I had Rousch physically install some Rough Country LED lights and a WeatherTech bed cover on an F-150 and then market it as a "Rousch Performance F-150." Umm, no.
At the end of the day Saleen Speedlab built it. Daughter of Steve, Molly Saleen. so there's the facts. Subscribe so you don't miss our trip to Saleen as we go to test drive the cars with Steve.
@@LeifAutoGroup thanks for the info, unfortunately here in california you need front license plates and there’s nowhere to put them with a nudge bar, it’s holding me back
So what parts were added specifically to make this a “Saleen” Bronco Sport. As far as I know, Saleen doesn’t make parts for Bronco Sports. I could be wrong but I’ve never personally seen anything like that.
They are built by Saleen Speed Lab. Still part of the Saleen family, they specialize in aftermarket accessories and much more. I need to correct myself, the terminology for this sport is “Leif Johnson Specialty Vehicle” or LJSV not “Saleen Performance Bronco Sport”. I hope I was able to answer your question!
@@LeifAutoGroup by built do you mean they installed your aftermarket parts? This is definitely clickbait!!! I could say my Camry is Built by McLaren if I serviced it and they installed an oil filter there🤦🏻♂️
First, I would like to extend an apology about the video being clickbait, that was not my intention. Moving forward I will do a better job. I also know the internet has a varying understanding of the world "built". To some people if a Viper isn't built by Calvo Motorsports to have 1,300 HP its not a build, yet to others a set of coilovers, intake and an exhaust is a build. In this very specific case, this Bronco was handled by Saleen Performance and they added all the aftermarket accessories. To some this may be built, to others not so much...

is that a rough country nudge bar ? i haven’t seen it with a led light bar before, it looks better that way rather than with the 4 spotlights
Yes it is l, but we started using the Saleen nudge bars now. They have a nicer fit. Appreciate the feedback on the lights!

We have to do the same in Texas. We have a bracket for the Saleen nudge bars. Let me try and get a link for you
@@LeifAutoGroup thank you 🙏🏻

This is the link to the current nudge bars we use on our Bronco Sports!
I spy the PV lakeside park!
any huge hit in mpg with the lift and swap of tires?
Not really. This was a brand new vehicle and driving conservatively around Austin and to Pace Bend Park I was around the 20mpg.
did this also have a recall for engine fires?
Yes the Recall is for 2021 to 2023 Bronco Sport equipped with the 1.5L engine.
B stands for Bronco

Welllll since YOUVE never seen it then I guess it doesn't exist
@@SaxonTerror Great comment. Very humble. Next time, read the room. It’s not uncommon to ask questions on videos like this. I was nothing but polite.
why aren't you using a SALEEN PUSH BAR?
At the time of this build their push bar was not available.
This is not a “Saleen Bronco Sport”. Click bait.
Built by Saleen Speed Lab 👀….
