Hi Naz, thank you so much for making these really clear videos on your MK4. They help me a lot with my A3 1.8t which is based on the same platform. I’m planning on doing the same oversize tip and ram air filter this weekend. To be honest I was dreading it but not so much now after watching how you did it. I will be getting some silicone grease as you suggested and unbolting that pipe. Love the channel mate and thanks again for great content.
Hi mate, sounds good to me!! Glad to hear you are giving it a go yourself. Failed to mention in the video that the TIP requires a little trimming at the MAF end, but you will have to work that out once it's on. Unfortunately, doing the engine bay deletes makes the area around the turbo so much more accessible but it's quite a big job first time around. You should be fine getting the TIP done, my friend had a Leon and he found it easy.
Hey, thanks man, just to let you know if you are not aware, you may have to trim down the MAF end and all of the other spouts to make it fit properly.Good luck mate, any problems give a shout 👍

@@Yosei- its a pipe so 5 mm thickness is doubled since its a circle innit so its actually 10mm
What size is the silicone spacer?
80mm but no point in using it, just buy the turbo inlet pipe for the K03/K03s GTi engine codes because only the mouth of the pipe is bigger. If you buy one for a Golf it will fit straight on to your MAF
Yo man is this for the ko3s turbo??
Yes mate it is for the K03s
A K03... Wheelspins?? You sure
Hey, good vid, well persevered, @area22designs
Hey, thanks man. Nice one
oh and catch-can that shizz
Catch can has been installed on that shizz now bro
AAAAHHH awsome🔥, hope it wasn't like trying to shit a brick because ..... my skoda really likes using the big strapon when it thinks it needs to educate 😆😆😆
@hydromaestro1298 Hahaha what? I'm so confused but if you are relating what you are saying to the difficulty then I think I get what you mean 🤣
Shluld i return my 2 inch and get a 3 inch
If you have a 70mm MAF I would just stick with the turbo inlet pipe that is recommended for the KO3s. There are two, there is a normal slim one and an oversized one. There isnt much points in getting the 80mm one because it's literally only wider at the MAF end and you have to reduce it down to 70mm anyway so doesnt even make a difference.
Thank you
@@mackdiesel8292 Sorry mate I hope that helps you.
@@mackdiesel8292 you are more than welcome
glad my tt tip was easier to remove...
Removal was ok!!! Fitting was a pain 🤣🤣
yeah, what made it easy on the 225 tt was the k04 .....and the maf was already 80mm. plus there seemed to be more room at the back end there, and all was done from above...glad it gave you the result you were after..
@@anthonynewcome128 Yes I did see that it was a lot easier on the BAM and also there were a few more options on the manufacturer. I also compared the hose for the AUQ and the AUM, only the neck at the top is bigger so there is no point, the hose down towards the turbo is the same size. Also required cutting at MAF end which was annoying 🤣 thanks mate I appreciate what you are saying 👍🏽
Put your fucking seat 💺 back to normal position 🤣
Hahaha what is wrong with my seat? 🤣
@@SPOOLINUP its almost vertical 🤣😅
Hahaha listen mate good posture is key to a good back 🤣🤣
