Hey, I just kept the spring that comes installed in the DV. I asked the guy who mapped my car if I should change it, and he said it is fine as it it. You could probably get away with the weakest one in your car as the more boost the stiffer the spring you need.

Hi, it was the sum of the length of the original bolt plus whatever the width of the spacer was. If you haven't bought bolts already I could check my purchase history.

Hey man, im not going to lie to you mate I hit it with the impact. I don't torque everything and I don't know anyone who does. I think a lot of people show themselves torqeuing just to set a good example.

Hi mate, sorry to hear that it's been causing you health issues too. I do have another video where I sealed up other bits. If you have a sunroof, there is potential for other problems regarding water leaking into the car. Check out my other video on the water leaking and you may see a fix there.

You mean an R32 rear bumper?

I know that blown or faulty coils do also cause a similar issue, I also had that problem at the time, but it arose later and became worse.

Firstly, can I ask what coilovers you are going to buy? I didn't replace the bushes to be honest mate, I just straight swapped it. I have now bought big looped H&R anti roll bars made for lowered Golfs. This is a better option to be honest mate. TT ARB works but it's a bit of a bodge in my eyes to be honest its not the best but you will get by.

I would say you need to do a thorough Google search to find them. It's been a long time now since I sourced them and I think they came from VW Hertitage. I'm pretty sure the part numbers are in the description.

Hey man, it would literally serve no purpose to have both installed as one would cancel the other out. If you read any article on the 1.8t engine it's quite commonly said that they don't run well with blow off valves that vent to atmosphere due to MAF calculation etc. Even a blow off valve by itself is not recommended, better off just leaving the diverter in situ and running it with your new intercooler. I hope that helps you in some way.

Luckily I don't think this car has been abused, it's got a decent history and has only had 3 owners. I think it's had a good life!

I literally just pulled it down if I remember correctly. I don't think I separated the ball joint from the hub. Have you watched some of the other videos out there? They may have done it differently.

@@SPOOLINUP so the new top mount Isn't screwed down on top of the new strut/coilover, where you put the bolts on the top, it's not fixing the top mount down. As it is on the original

I have only changed the bottom seals there, the one that goes around all windows is very expensive so I am waiting until it is essential

I wouldn't pass it because of my exhaust anyway, so I'm not sure after the engine bay deletes. I've never tried.

Thank you man, I appreciate your comment. Just make sure you do not block off the EVAP in the engine bay like I did and you should be all good. Just take your time and use it to learn a few things. I know there is a lot of garbage in a stock engine bay but it's all emission control. Thank god we can delete it!!!

Hey Gary! I hope you are doing well mate. These are pretty cool cars and you see less and less GTIs now. They are looking quite small also mate I make you right. I do have plans for quite a lot of work on the cars this summer, but unfortunately with work, studying and other bits I've been really slow. I think these valves are made by Eaton. Is it the exact same N75 for those engines too? I would suggest using the part number in a search engine. Also did you check your coil packs? I also had a coil issue at the time.

To be honest it's a little bit of a daunting job but it looks a lot harder than it is. It is also really worth it so good luck and I hope you get it done easily 🙏🏾

Hahaha mate, I hope it does the trick for you. I also had to change a blown coil about a week later as the problem seemed to come back. Not sure the replacement N75 fixed my issue as it was intermittent anyway. Tough one but I've got my fingers crossed for you

@@SPOOLINUP cheers bro I think its defo made an improvement but still not completely happy.... yet UPDATE yeah its defo quicker and better but when I stick my foot down down it ain't letting off as I think it should. My biggest issue I got at the minute is juddering when I first put it into gear. Judders bad af in reverse mainly. So carnt really get a smooth ride and I'm not sure why now. Gonna vac test it and new air filter is next. Praying to the good Lord my turbo ain't 💀 If your ever stuck for a vid could you do one on the shift linkage. I also think it's overheating but the needle staying in the middle 😬 I ordered new engine mounts, water pump + timing belt, radiator, v belt. Timing belt+ water pump is scary to me 2bh and mechanics by me don't want to touch it cuz it's my own parts. On the shift linkage yeah the spin clip end near slave cylinder please bro.

Do you have any diagnostic equipment? I got a small code reader and it's nothing special but sometimes things like that help a lot. I know some mechanics are funny about using customer bought parts and it's because they make a little on the side buy purchasing it at trade price and charging you retail. (Just in case you didn't know). What makes you think the car is overheating? Cool bro thanks for being patient anyway 🙏🏾

I'm not 100% sure without measuring but if they were correct before and are incorrect now I would suggest swapping them back over. That should save your problem. I'm glad you got it all done and I hope you are happy with the outcome. Thanks for the support.
