Hi Beau and family, I have been watching a lot of your hunting videos and I have a question. When you leave base camp aren't you worried that a bear might come and kill your lamas? I crossbow hunt in northern Alberta and I have to be aware of bears and cougars. Just about every time I go out I see a bear or evidence of one. By the way I am also a cancer survivor. Looks like you had a great crew and you sure know how to build a barn. Amazing how fast it progressed. Looks like BE had a winner for an Ag department. If I ever build a barn, it looks like I knows someone who know what they are doing? I love watching your videos. Keep them coming.
Mostly a 50% / 50% mix of alfalfa and grass. It can be hard to track down :) In the summer, they mostly pasture on grass only, with some supplemental grain.
@@ashleefreed8242 They can have a small percentage of clover. It makes them foam at the mouth, which probably stems from their bellies. However, they love it, so we have to be careful to keep them out of big patches of it when they leave home.

Ok I see hay in back in the video so that why I asked and can llamas have clover in there hay because I know alpaca can not
