- Hey All! This was another great unassuming A-ha song. I just love how they slip in dark content with music that doesn't normally support themes such as these. Great song!

A ha are just fabulous live. Seeing them in May 2022 delayed due to Covid. Seen them age 15 to age 50 they are my favourite band.
A-ha =Home to me. It reminds me of a time in my life 1988. I’m loving these songs. Thanks Mike 🙏🏻🙏🏻✌🏻🇩🇪🇺🇸
You are the second person I've heard say they recognized darker themes in this song. Select songs from their catalog touch on themes of abandonment, melancholia, anger, and disparagement. They're brilliant lyricists aside from being fantastic musicians. This particular song is a gem.
I’m going to recommend your channel to one of the a-ha websites and twitter accounts. a-ha fans love seeing people hearing a-ha songs for the first time
Wow Mark, not necessary at all, but thank you!
@@Yeedeed Mark is right: we a-ha fans love seeing people hearing a-ha songs for the first time! A-ha fans are loyal and this is one of my favorite songs of theirs. Very cool! Congratulations on the channel!
Cool to see someone doing a lot of deep-dives into a-ha. Plus, you have depth to your reactions, not seen often on RUclips. Dig it, man.
The blood … an amazing song. The live of this during the 90s is even better IMO. While the extended version is Bondesque. Written by Pal waaktaar after he read of a Japanese girl who committed suicide.
The lines - Red stains on “Eyes of a blue dog”.. is real cool. It literally means blood on this novel / book “Eyes of a blue dog”. Meaning the person committed xxxx with book in hand..
sycamore leaves live nrk recording. Another dark lyric, dreaming of finding a dead body buried under sycamore leaves
I interpret those lyrics as the singer being the actual dead body. Like, he can't shake the vision or the feeling, he can't escape it because it's HIM. He's dead. Actually one of the last thing Morten sings in that song is "I'M COVERED BY SYCAMORE LEAVES"
@@zugattivideos I agree, that's how I understand those lyrics too, he is the dead body under the leaves.
Lots of great songs from this album:) Out of the Blue Cones Green is my favorite, but Touchy, Hurry Home, This Alone is Love and of course the title track are awesome:)
the song was about a japanese fan who committed suicide. aha - the blood that moves the body.
The tremor in his voice in the middle-eight, special even for him, is often the first thing I think of when A-Ha is mentioned.
Great melody, introspective lyrics, and yes, that part that you like the most, I do too! Hus voice can capture so many emotions....
Another powerful A-ha's songs... The weight of the wind (2nd album) and The rolling thunder (4th album) you might touch great sound.
I've been waiting for Rolling Thunder. It might help asking again, and even better if we do, both of us.
I love seeing someone discover how great a-ha are 35 years later. If you want to do something more recent, and you like their 'darker' songs, check out "Mythomania" from their last album. I think you'll dig the lyrics and the synths.
you do such good reactions! so much depth going into lyrics + specific moments which stand out etc.. a-ha are great :) out of blue comes green from the same album is one of those songs which has grown on me a lot too
A-ha forever in My ❤️ Saludos desde México 🇲🇽
Singer's name is Morten Harket :) Love Your A-ha reactions, went to my first concert with them when I was 12 years old, in 1987.
Yes, Morten! Dangit! I hate I forgot! But I am glad you got to see them as a first concert that is awesome! My first concert was The Cure in like 1991 :) Also thank you for enjoying their songs with me!
@@Yeedeed I wouldn't have guessed that as your first show, interesting to know ;)
@@Yeedeed the cure had a great track in the movie the crow
@@markwebster7435 I love that soundtrack! I bought it when it came out on CD, back then. The Cure is cool! There is also a Rage Against The Machine song which is great.
@@conditionsunderground yea I bought that sound track myself, the soundtrack to the second one wasn’t bad either, great track in that by the band filter
Memories...
They released years later a rockier remix of this song. Can be found on their compilation album called 25
I believe I have this song on a CD-single with remixes
This alone is love - you should listen to it. Our souls are myriad of wars and I am losing everyone
I paid attention to the lyrics....always.
Hi from GREECE.My name is Vangelis . I suggest you tou hear 1."Celice"..the video is dark...2."cold as stone" 3. "East of the sun west of the moon" and at last "Locust"..very interesting..you'll see....thanks bro
Please react to the music called 'Los Angeles'. It's a song from Morten Harket's solo career. Very beautiful song.
Or analogue live at frognerparken, great track
Of newer releases of A-ha songs I think you should check out Objects in the Mirror. It was released in 2015. The music video for this one is a must because the pictures and story line works so well🙏
If you need to hear an old classic from them live 2017 I recommend Stay on these Roads. MTV Unplugged video
Thank you Sverre, I will add this to my list!
Uma maravilha de musica🎉🎉🎉🎉
Could you please react to a-ha singing live the sun always shines on tv at the Nobel peace prize concert? That's a really awesome and most recent one.
aha are from norway english isn’t there first language.
