Hi Robk Reacts I hope your well and enjoying more A-HA the blood that moves the body taken from the stay on these roads album. Classic A-HA. With its sense of foreboarding the song was speculated to be about teen suicide. The lyrics had been inspired by some Japanese literature Pal picked up while touring Japan in 1986. The literature included works by Yukon Mishima, a Nobel prize nominated author who committed suicide in 1970. Overall a great song, everything works so well. Take care. I look forward to your reaction to this one and future A-HA tracks. Stay safe 😘 ❤️🇳🇴❤️A-HA FOREVER❤️🇳🇴❤️

Thank you, Rob. Morten is keeping well. Yes, he was young, but actually closer to 30 than 20. He has always looked younger than he is.
It is not without reason that I have held back a little with the original videos. Let's try one next month.

If my calculations are correct, Morten is 29 years old here. Quite a dark song lyric-wise and as per usual - lovely music and vocals.

This is fresh hair cut Morten, no head bands here !!!! This track is a mood. A sophisticated, stylish mood. The wall of backing vocals is amazing. Great Strings (Ann Dudley was a film composer and arranger, also in a band called Art of Noise). Quite a dark lyric set here " ...the blood that moves the body now covers the ground". Great track !! Great suggestion from Kari.

This is the song I always mention when pointing out how the band has suffered since Morten lost his vibrato - typical of Rob to talk over that moment when he switches tones for the first time
