I still suffer from anxiety and a little despair as for how slow it takes to level up characters, but the one thing I've started to finally undestand is that this is a marathon, not a sprint, so slow but steady is good. thanks for the hard work with the spread sheet, which I don't fully exploit yet, but I will get there, some day.

If you unlocked him and for some reason are hesitating on pumping resources into him, Kharne will be a beast in the gamma track (can be used everywhere but power) and can be used in the melee track on alpha. I’ve gotten him to d1, which may become d2 by the Ragnar event, and I’m super interested to see how he does.
I’m back watching the video again. So I know exactly where Gbz is coming from and his anger is being wrongfully directed towards DB. Ive playing for almost 6 months now and shared this frustration. Snow Print has all these essential Unfarmable characters locked behind the Req system. Almost 6 months in and 39 characters still locked for me. 3 of my locked characters ar:e Isabella (didn’t know how game-breaking she was), Sho, and Rev’as. It really takes away from the game…
I cant highlight enought how efective Tjarks passive is vs Thousand Sons making pink horrors irelevant and thus making only few enemies who can deal dmg to your team
This is literally end of end game content. I'm level 45, I've got like 25 gold, and 5 diamond chars, atleast....and I first unlocked a legendary on shadowsun last run. I didn't unlock kharn (I could have with more tokens) and I didn't unlock ragnar (I will this time. Easily) I never got anywhere with maugan Ra, or the first shadowsun run. Just keep going, eventually you'll just be crushing level 10 LRE tracks and it'll be easy ;) good luck

well as a barely over 2months old account owner i aint having any hopes of getting ragnar, which is okay. maybe his shards will be available one day in another way. i will priorize campaign characters for now and work on my setup for Kharn 2/3.
That’s ok though, legendary events were called „late game content“ by the developers and it def takes a while to get a team ready to get them. As soon as the event is finished, Ragnar will go into the normal pool of characters you can get from requisition scrolls and hopefully one or two other places!!
@DBPreacherTacticus need advice on ragnar. Do we receive any final wolftails in a last day chest? Im at 375/400 shards, im only 15 tails away from opening last chest that i would need. Unfortunately im about 400pts away from that chest and have basically ground out all missions i can. Dont want to spend money if we gonna receive a last day chest that will push me over finish line.
I have to say. After playing the Kharn LRE with 11 G1s, the whole require 6-10 G1s to unlock seems to only apply if you have Isabella, rotbone and / or Tyrant guard, of which I have none. Is this is the case, or am I just bad? I just seem to die immediately from level 8 onwards.
You need 12500 points and yeah, like I said, rotbone or Isabella is a big piece of the puzzle. You need to get some tracks to lvl 10 to be closer to that. You are not bad! Keep working on getting rotbone from guild wars and aleph null and the mechanical characters levelled up. They can help you for now a lot. It’s not any gold character that works out, you def need some healers in there. Incisus is your choice for now, but he would prolly need to be levelled a bit higher than g1
Your recommendations in a nutshell: If you have every character leveled to a minimum of G1, you should make sure to tick off more than one objective per token. I am missing actionable advice for players who „only“ have around 6 characters at G1 and not everybody unlocked. How do I best use the time until the event? Do I go broad and try to get teams at S1 for every objective? Or do I level 5 key characters? But yes - the cutscenes are great!
I cover this in earlier videos in depth, and I do touch on it here but you are right, I don’t call it out completely. I first completed a legendary event with 6 characters at gold I. I focused on Isabella Battleball + Revas / aleph null healing combo.

I was thinking about doing a „top ten characters for legendary events“ or something but very quickly, it’s something like: - (imperial) Isabella + 2 of the following (Arjac, Bellator, brother Burchard, marneus calgar). Arjac is the weakest of those because you can’t use him in a campaign unlike bellator and Burchard. Calgar is strong in many different modes but he‘s a legendary character so you might not have him. - (Xenos team 1) Revas + aleph null for healing mechanical team. Imperial Actus fits in very well here too. - (Xenos team 2) tyrant guard and Jain Zar. They cover a lot of battles and if you can add incisus in then that is a really solid team for piercing, one hit battles. - (Chaos) angrax, maladus and nauseous rotbone. They are key.
It’s too difficult to give a general answer really because it depends on your actual team but either way, it won’t be far enough. Battle 6 would prolly be max.
So what happens if you have shards from the event and the third part of the event ends without unlocking Ragnar...do those event shards get turned into Ragnar shards? Or do you just lose them and Ragnar becomes a 0/400-500 character unlock for you?
what are your thoughts on requisition update? will we ever be able to hit 1200 scrolls? is it okay to get 10 uncommon orbs after spending 55 reqs? is it fair to start from 0 when all campaigns are finished and we are 40+ levels with quest chests being in the same problematic place?
I think it’s too early to say as it isn’t the final evolution of it. It’s obvious that it doesn’t feel balanced right now in terms of how long to get everything, especially as a f2p player, but I’m curious to see the next steps rather than judge it in isolation.
@@DBPreacherTacticus also good content creator. What i noticed is that playerbase is mad but content creators chose their words really carefully. As i often see in other games, when something is implemented poorly, usualy creators point out the flaws. I hope you guys dont have some pressure from them. Because there are several of you who make good quality videos and often is even more entertaining or giving us some hopes for improvements. I liked your approach on xp books and watching SP being silent about XP in game generally is sad. Anyway keep up good work. I know you will have some great solutions to this implementation but, if you dont want to speak about it, i totally respect it
I've just started playing the game and am enjoying it so far, I am using up all energy + 2 refills per day and getting as far as I can with progress. I bought Isabella and the daily blackstone refills. How long would you say on average it would take before aiming to complete a legendary event? A few months to build out a roster with some lucky pulls along the way or is it easier than that? I hope its easier than Raid shadow legends, that game is like a second job participating in a legendary event.

That depends on what characters you have opened already and your current lifetime of your team. If you are a newer player, forget about Ragnar as it’s his last event and focus on the newer legendary events like the Khane one. I will do a deep dive into that very soon.

Not afaik, you get the “last offer” where you can pay Blackstone to get up to the next stage.
