    At long last a real baker who provides lovely recipes. We have Yorkshire pudding the way Yorkshire folk traditionally eat them. My husband’s Grandmother showed me how to make Yorkshire pudding 55 years ago. Lovely served with real gravy and roasted beef. Yummy.

    So good to see you back, and especially with good old Yorkshire Puddings (the real ones.... ;-)! (Yes, I'm a Yorkshire lass). I can remember back in the day that Yorkshire puddings were served as a first course with gravy, before the traditional Sunday roast and veg. It was a way of filling up the hungry tummies, when meat was expensive. To be honest, for me that was the best part of the meal! Wallowing in happy nostalgic memories now, as I usually do when watching one of your videos 🙂

As for the Yorkshire's I've tried all ways and it make no difference how you mux the ingredient.

    Well I'll go to hell!, my granny used to have a tablespoon that was worn out with beating, But then again she used a slightly different method. 1 heaped tablespoon of plain flour to an egg, mix. Add milk and a pinch of salt to get the right fluidity, then beat the hell out of it! but she put more batter in each tin (and got a soft bottom). The oven was set at max (220C+)with a good teaspoon of dripping in each tin and the batter was not added until the tins were smoking. I still use this method but use a hand blender to beat the mix.... I love em! Thank you for showing us a different method and style!

    Hi Mr Paul excellent recipe they did make my mouth water i just love Yorkshire puds and a very good recipe just using the fork which I will use . Lovely to see you looking tanned and healthy at last you have got your neck brace off it must have been very uncomfortable in the heat. Pleased you are having rails fitted don’t want you falling again. Hope now you are relaxing it’s 515 pm here a lovely day but very windy . Enjoy your evening and don’t overdo things . Take very good care of yourself. You could certainly teach them chefs a thing or two . I made your fruit loaf the other day always comes out great always write your recipes in a book under the heading of Mr Paul. Fool proof recipe No Faffing about just what I like.
    Love Sandra x

      Hi Sandra,
      Thanks for your comment and concern, I do appreciate it. I still have to wear the collar now and again when my neck stats to ache. Not been able to relax much this last week as the builders have been changing my bathroom into a wet room with a seat and safety bars etc. should be finished by Tuesday then I can start to get back to almost normal. Nice to hear from you.

    Good to see you without the collar - when I had to wear one the itching drove me mad! Thank you for this recipe - it's close to the one I use (with mostly good results but not always) so I'm going to use your recipe with the half milk/half water. Yorkies are my favourite part of a roast! I'd be happy with a couple of those and the gravy and skip all the rest :)

    • @MrPaulsPantry
      @MrPaulsPantry  2 года назад

      Hi Sharon, nice to hear from you, it was the heat here that bothered me the most with the collar, 44ºc most days was a bit much. Good luck with the Yorkies.
