Wow, these are just, incredible. I've been trying to find as good solution for full sized buildings for DnD for so long and this is it. Thank you for this video :)
one thing you didn't mention is being able to switch out the roofs for snow covered ones, which would work well for games in snowy settings like frostgrave.
i have recieved mine aswel but it's staying into the box for a while. Don't have the place at the moment but somewhere in the fall i'm building an extention on our house for a gaming room so i will have space enough then :D
Thanks, yes that's a 3x3, the board is the Village set with the kickstarter Blacksmiths Forge added (this is available for pre order too I think) there was some ruins and scatter not used on the table.
Thanks! I don't find the connectors distracting at all tbh, there's hardly any and you really don't notice them compared to the printed patterns on the card.
The walls are not actually the same size. There are at least 4 sizes of wall with 3 sizes for ground floor and at least one for the top floor. It's not as modular as the Sci-Fi range and with the roofs being specific for each building, modularity is not really there.
Or you can just don't use the roofs (like in Core Space) :) I mostly plan to use this set for tabletop RPG so our characters will move inside the buildings.
I don't think taking it apart to pack it up is a feature. It's a huge pain in the ass to then reassemble everything to game with it. Much better idea to leave each building section assembled and store it in a larger bin.
That's what we do too but it is super handy that you are able to deconstruct for travel if you're hosting an event or visiting a friend on limited travel storage.

Indeedy! On the upside I did inadvertently show off that sheet as my example! 😂
Run a grey/brown (stone/wood) sharpie or felt tip pen around the card edges for an even better finish.
Great video.
Great review, nice showcase of that mat design too
Just got my Fantasy Village from the Kickstarter and it is great. Keep it up guys @ Battlesystems!
Awesome stuff! I will consider getting this for some 3D Zombicide
Ordering the fantasy village and a few bits on the 27th when I get paid XD
Great! Check out their RUclips tutorials to get the hype going!

@@martindonohue900 as well in like also
This looks good for Moonstone which only has expensive resin buildings.
Nice review. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. Could you add a link to where you got the barrels?
Sure thing here you go: www.deepcutstudio.com/product/prepainted-scenery-fantasy-barricades-set/
Great video! How well has it held up?
No issues still! :)
Is this the whole Village set?
And is the table 3 by 3?
Great Video.

Looks like a very full Board for Malifaux. I wait for a Battle rep on this Table. ;-)
And I wait for the release of this stuff.
Would a Matt spray varnish work to stop reflections? Have you tried it?
I have and it works relatively well, you'll still get some shine off the big roofs like the tavern but it certainly reduces it.
How long do these things last??
Still using mine with no issues :)
Great video! How distracting do you find the grey plastic connection pieces? Do you think they have to be painted?

kind of white edges bother me a bit
Where did you get the trees from?
Just O-Guage model train ones from a store.
Hey! Cool vidz. Where are your trees from?
Thanks! They're model train o-gauge I think.

Does the card warp? How durable is it?
No issues so far, sometime you will have a tab that needs widening with some clippers but other than that there should be no reason for bending.
@@warriorstablewargaming Thanks!

The walls and roofs are very easy to reassemble, but each other items/furnitures must be kept assembled :)
