@2:13 "I guess he'll have to bust my ass another time." That's gold, HP. Gold!
"Why do they call it Ovaltine? The mug is round, the jar is round, they should call it Roundtine!" Thanks for watching, Tom!
Yeah, I love how you broke the hand down to call with that AJ. Before you even said anything about it.. I was thinking the same thing, my initial thought was to fold but piecing it together, trying to figure out what value hands he’d have there… it just made more sense that he was bluffing. I believe momentum is a thing. So when he calls you down that loosely, I don’t really see what he plans to accomplish against someone that has all the momentum in their corner. In fact, I’d steer clear as much as possible. But very nice session. I’m glad you made up for last episode.
Glad to hear my thinking was somewhat logical. 😄 This win was much needed after some of the recent losses, gave me some of that confidence back. Thanks for watching!
Nice job, Huggie. Your call with Ace high was top level. I'm sure I would have folded there without thinking it through.
Thanks, David! That was my favorite hand of the session!
Yeah man, let me know if you're in the area! Lots of fun play to be had here, for sure.
Ugh, that's rough! But at the same time, like you said, that's PLO. No way to avoid getting it in there, just gotta hope the poker gods are on your side!
Amazing videos! Thanks for putting the work into these.
Love your videos man!
So nice to see a Vlog at the lower buy-ins! Thanks
Definitely, Marty! More to come, thanks for watching!
Wow, what a difference a session makes. You played really good both times. Poker is crazy! Love it!
Thanks, Mike! Had some luck on my side this time! 😄
You weren't lying when you said, wait for the next Vlog. Awesome man!!! Glad to see you sun 🌞 run like this. Congrats 👏. See you soon. Keep crushing man.
Thanks, Ian! I've got a few more episodes on the way that should be fun, appreciate you taking the time to watch! 😄
Love that ace high call. Congrats!
Huggie Poker you straight killed it brother!!! I am extremely happy for you and I know that was so exciting. I could hear the jealousy from other players on the felt. Couldn't have happened to better person. I'm sure it did wonders for your confidence as well! Even got to experience playing with a bracelet winner! I took a couple weeks off when I got busted last time I played but headed back to it Thursday! Sending prayers for your family and health and good luck at the tables bro!!!
Hey Ray, thanks so much, man! This win definitely gave a much needed confidence boost after having a couple of big losing sessions recently. I really needed it! How did your Thursday session go? Hope you're killing it out there! Good luck, man!
@@HuggiePoker it's been going well and I'm building a bankroll. Last Thursday was rough tho as I lost 500 on a bomb pot when the nuts changed on the river. It's poker tho bro. Headed back this Thursday to get back on the horse. I have a good feeling. I'm feeling extremely comfortable withy play and def feel like I belong. I'll keep filling you in and will report my big session whenever it comes lol...
Those bomb pots can be rough. Are they NLH or PLO where you play? The PLO ones add a ton of variance, especially those double board ones. Glad you're feeling comfortable with it, that's important -- hope you have a great session on Thursday, let me know how it goes! Good luck!
@@HuggiePoker Brother!!! Just reporting my Thursday game as it's the biggest I've ever won. Playing 1/2 bought in for $400, cashed out 1585 from the game and also hit a straight flush for a 500 high hand for a total of 2085!!! First time ever hitting straight flush A-5 clubs and first time winning a high hand. My largest win prior to was about $400 so needless to say I was more than excited, and it did wonders for my confidence! Anyway, looking forward to your next one brother, just wanted to touch base.
Ray, dude, that's awesome to hear! I love your excitement and enthusiasm, seems like it couldn't have gone to a nicer guy! 👏 Hope you have more crazy sessions just like it!
Love to see it! Always happy to run well after a previously bad session.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching, Jacob!
Starting to really enjoy your vlogs. Nice work.
Thanks Morgan, glad you're enjoying them!
What a bomb pot!!! Great read with AJ, I was thinking the same thing.
Thanks, Doug! That bomb pot definitely makes up for last episodes coolers and runouts. 🙂
Great Vlog, keep it up!
Thanks, Jayden!
Super happy for you nice job!
Thanks, Daniel!
🎉Congrats on a great, profitable session. Perhaps your presence of mind and awesome analysis attracted all those favorable cards. That said, I really felt that older gentleman's pain 😢 when you scooped that bomb pot KK7, well done on holding onto the KK post flop.
Hey, thanks so much! I've definitely been in the reverse spot for that KK7 hand as well, the turn was really freaking good to me this time. 😆
That call with ace high was nice. Good vlog.
Thanks, bud!
Great job putting players on their hands. Nice run good!! Bell icon and sub turned on.
Awesome, thank you Joe! Appreciate the sub and the thoughtful feedback.
Great one😁
Thanks, Lisa! 😁
Wow great hands!!!
Yeah, I ran pretty hot!
You were not wrong wow what a game
Thanks for watching, Allan!
Great job 👏 like 👍 you’re content!!!!!
I appreciate ur videos
I know for sure I've never played with 1200 BBs in front of me! what a run
It's a bit intimidating!
Imagine folding to that 40 bet and then seeing that turn and all in action I would literally be sick and have to leave but I would have called too
2:49 Anybody else think "Yeah and you stacked her too"? Nice hand gotta love flopping the fruit of the Sugandese
"Did you have it?" "I'm sorry, I don't remember John."
BRO.....that Bomb Pot was dope. I was nervous just watching you. I played poker in a real poker room for second time in my life last night and won $570. The first time I played two nights ago I won $697. This was $1 $2 game with $300 buyin. My goal was an extra $1000 a month and already over $1250 after playing twice. I was up over $1100 both times but didn't quit and gave some money back. Not making that mistake anymore. Once I hit $1000 gonna plan on stopping ASAP unless I continue to win but once the rush is over bye-bye poker room. It's so humbling when you make money playing something you love doing. I am going back to poker room tonight for my 3rd stab at making money. If I was to win again come out ahead in the $500 to $750 range by playing sound poker, how many consistent winning sessions would you say is needed to realize you are no longer a recreational player but slowly becoming a pro. Or is more like a percentage meaning if I play 30 times this month and win 80% of times does that make me pro because my profits would be $6000 month and that money came from poker. Assuming my average win/loss is $500 every session. Unless I am doing my math wrong, winning 80% of time is a $6000 monthly profit. 80% of 30 days is 24 days. 24 x 500 equals $12,000 profit. 6 days losing ( 6 x 500) is minus $3000. Then I need to take out cost for renting chair which is $12 hour so $60 night plus Uber $40. So expenses is $100 a day times X 30 $3000 a month. $9,000 minus $3,000 is $6000. What would you recommend I do to continue my path to become a pro. I study the books, watch videos, etc and now going to play every day because I am 60 years old disabled man and have the time. At what point do you realize you are truly skilled and move on to a bigger game? It's way too early to tell if winning two times in a row is skill or luck. All I know it's possible to make serious money in local low level cash games playing sound poker and your videos have helped motivate me in a big way. Funny thing is I never play Bomb pot. Way too confusing to me. Any suggestions for learning that game or what to study? You should make a video on best strategy for playing that game. Thanks again for motivation and the videos!!
U were hitting everything
Yeah, if only running this well was the norm! 😄
gg ran like the sun with good reads keep grinding but u won so buy ur self a reward
I bought myself a shot at another $2/5 game! Haha, I actually got a couple Switch games "for my daughter" (cough cough, for me to play too). No arguing that I ran well in this one, if it wasn't obvious from all the 2-pair and boat flops I was hitting. Thanks for watching!
What a dream session 🙏
52 social looks pretty nice. Certainly way better than the lodge with their worn felt.
I know The Lodge is having new felts installed, not sure when they're supposed to be done. But yeah, it is nice playing with new equipment!
Dude runs like God in bomb pots
Well, I did in this one anyway! 😄
man ur good
I'm glad to see that you tip well. I hate it when players win a big pot and don't tip.
Glad you think so, it's a very split & opinionated topic. 😄
@@HuggiePoker I don't understand why it's such a split topic. I was talking to a dealer @ the casino by my house in Arkansas. He said they only make $7 an hour. The rest of their $ comes from tips. As a rule if I buy in for $200 and double up I give $5 for a tip. If I make more than that I tip more obviously.
@@adcscooter4517 That's about the same as what I do as well.
Lol, I just watched the one hand he tipped 2$ for a 660$ win. I thought he was really cheap actually. His prerogative though. Just don’t agree with the comment
800 was my biggest. Golden Nugget started with 120. Cashed out for 920.
That's a huge ROI!
@@HuggiePoker yeah it was the win I needed last September in Las Vegas. Almost a 7x win. Great timing and great table Saturday night. Lots of tourists drinking it up. Never had a win over 4x buy in before.
Was there a special event going at the time? Wonder if there was any correlation with the type of tourist in town. Either way, nice score!
Opening of NFL football. I was meeting a buddy i hadn't seen in nearly 10 years. He was doing some high stakes Fantasy football drafts.
@@HuggiePoker typically lots of gamble with people like that. Must have been quite a few of them cuz lots of 25 dollar chips at the table that normally only get used at table games.
Sun run much? lol Awesome vlog.
Nice read on the AJ hand too
Yeah haha, definitely had some run good this session! Thanks for the sweat, man.
14:18 wtf he had straight on both boards. How’d you guys miss that?
you gotta start posting again!
you said there is no set that flops on both boards on the PLO bomb, pocket sixes does bro!!
Yeah, you're right, I woulda been screwed if he had that. 😅
Cindy's Las Vegas history is more colorful than her hoodies.
Definitely not a radio voice lol
Thankfully listening to it is optional!
Follow thru with betting don't fold on river to bet's that don't make sense, and no bluffing = Win
When your hot your hot. Thought Naked James plays bigger than 1/3
I think he normally does, but 52 Social Club is still working on attracting a more steady flow of players to keep bigger games going consistently. James is actually the one who insisted we change the table from a $1/2 game to $1/3, unsurprisingly. I also played in a $2/5 live stream following when this episode took place, and my next video will be a commentary of that game.
What did you tip on the huge bomb pot you scooped
Huggie is a good tipper if he plays for a living. Most pros tip 1 dollar a hand no matter if pot is 1k if more 2 dollars
What happened to this vlog?
Are you in Austin?
I am!
Hopefully James wasn’t actually naked playing poker there.
Not in this one, but wait till tomorrow's episode!
nice fuckin call at 21:30
Cindy Violet playing 1/2?? Wow
Not sure what she normally plays, but this was for an event where she was invited to come play. I imagine she was paid to be there!
@@HuggiePoker Ohhhh. Very cool! Glad she is not a 1/2 grinder after winning the Main lol
Why the name Huggie Poker?
It's a lifelong nickname. My last name is Huggins, just like you. 😉
I say the same things back to them when they say something like I've got murdered on the flop and then they wanna fight me, like tfff don't come to the casino just to get all pissed off something's wrong with these people. I laugh I have a good time even if I'm losing I'm still in good spirits For the most part.
@huggiepoker whenever you have a premium premium hand, you keep your hand over the cards. Whenever it’s a decent hand your hand is off to the side, not on top of the cards
I got lucky I’m in Canada played for my first time 1/3 made like $1000 profit but can you tell me where I can get poker knowledge from as a real ROOKIE..like any books or videos or certain topics I want to get better
Yeah I woulda told nakee James watch his mouth after he said “he had me murdered on the flop” for the 3rd time
