Dude it's all top notch: the production, the play, the card protector... 10/10 my man. I really love how you condense so much information on screen without taking too much real estate. Well done!
Thanks, Marc! It's fun to build these, but sometimes it's so time consuming that I wonder if it's worth the effort for all the extras. Glad to hear they're appreciated!
Nice little session while upping the sakes. Since your not using a clock, like how you give the time element between hands. Shows how much time can go by between getting playable cards or being in position even with weaker holdings and just playing the position.
Thanks, Mike! I'll admit I made a fair number of mistakes in this session. I've got a few more 5/10 episodes coming following this one that have quite a bit more action!
OOP 4x 3bet with 10s is actually standard. You need to raise larger than you would in position in order to mitigate your positional disadvantage. If you’re commonly doing 3x 3bets as OOP, that’s a fairly large leak, because your opponent has too good odds to continue in position.
Nice game- no booked losses that night. I like playing at Bellagio, the game is softer with more rec players. If you wanna try something more challenging play at Aria.
You're right Mariano, I did. I didn't have a shot of Bellagio prior to the footage of me walking in. I tried to find a clip online and couldn't find one. I guess I should have reached out and asked you directly. It's kind of shitty that I didn't. I can trim out the intro using your clip if you'd like. I'll include an apology in my next episode as well, cause my intention is definitely not to take credit for other work, and I know you work hard on your vlog.
I took the 5/10 shot a few months ago after putting in about 200 hours at 1/3 and 2/5 at Bellagio was running like god up 4 k at 5/10 and ended up punting it all off lol but it is fun to take shots for sure can’t wait to do it again Gg gl c ya on the felt
He was actually born as a porcupine, and in church as a kid, at Sunday school. the Sunday school teacher asked all the kids to hug the kid to their left, and when he went to do it, it was a 7-yr-old girl named Lakey. Yeah, weird name. Anyway, Lakey didn't want to hug him on account of him being covered in porcupine needles, and she just stood there in shock, frozen, until she screamed "HUGGIE!!! NO HUGGIE!!! HUGGIE!!!" And Lakey ran out of the room and into the main room where the rest of the congregation was, making a big fuss while finding her parents. And he got the nickname Huggie as a result. It's a true story.
The only thing the guy with AJ should’ve been upset about is the way that he played the hand. If he had continuation bet on the flop it likely takes the pot down. If not, he can bet one more time with a gut shot and an over card and likely still win the pot. He’s mad at what you pre-flop called with rather than being mad at himself with the way that he played the hand. Amateur.
Oh, I definitely made lots of mistakes this session, more than I normally make. Practice makes perfect though, and sharing these mistakes is how I grow as a player.

@@HuggiePoker haha I know all about it.
Sometimes if your playing decent and running decent taking shots is necessary, glad to see that you did that.
Totally! That being said, I made a lot of mistakes this session. 😅
@@HuggiePoker all part of the learning curve!
I really enjoy your Vlogs
I really appreciate you saying that! Glad your enjoying them, Nigel! 😄
Hell yeah brother, nice run!!! Glad you won at your shot take. 💪
Thanks, Ian! There's 3 more episodes of me taking shots in the 5/10 game coming after this one! 😄

Awesome stuff! Fun games, good spots, excellent editing too. Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks, dude! I still gotta watch your most recent videos, I just saw the first one so far, but it was fun to watch. 🙂
@Justin's Journey Drop your link and I'll check you out. Thanks.
Nm, I forgot I could tap your pic and subscribe lol. ✔️

@@ianshirreffs5604 Hah, no worries! Appreciate it. No poker content over here... but who knows, it could make it onto my channel at some point :)
Great content!! Two sessions in one video. Thanks for posting. Best of luck!
Thanks, Joe!

I love the Bellagio 2-5 game. 😍
You used my footage for your intro :(

Maybe I'm off base here, but my read is that the 2/5 game had more straddles and would therefore be considered a better game
I think you're right for this particular session! I've got a few more 5/10 sessions that followed this one that were quite juicy, keep an eye out!

Hey man, good luck on the next one! Hope you don't punt it off next time. 😉
Good stuff man! Was wondering how you got the handle Huggie?

Still waiting for you to call it JK Off 😂. Great video!
LOL next time, next time... 😉
Great content. Did you notice a big difference in the strength of your opponents going from 2-5 to 5-10?
5-10 players can do more pushups for sure
For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t call you a 1/2 player, I’d call you a midstakes crusher 😎
If I can reach $50k by year end, then I'll go on the record as agreeing with you. 😉
You do you bro and it’s not a big deal but no one really likes someone complaining about how bad their luck is as they have Aces versus Kings
Yeah, I understand. I was more just bracing myself after a couple months of run bad, but I get that it is not something the guy with KK wants to hear.
The french guy speaking at 13min50 seems like the voice of baki poker I spoke to you. Do you remembee this player?
No, that wasn't him. That guy didn't look anything like Baki Poker does.
@@HuggiePoker ok. So you know who I mean by Baki. You met him or just watch videos?
I looked him up after you mentioned him
@@HuggiePoker ok. And you like his vlogs? He plays differently than you. He is more aggressive to me

People like to get mad at how others play at the tables. I try to just take it all in stride. 🤷
was it all regs or were there some whales/fishes?
Dude, love the vlog but the background music during your commentary is almost unbearable
Hey man, thanks for the feedback. Constantly trying to work on improving it, so it's good to know what works and what doesn't.
