Not really. I love the tuts, don't get me wrong but there are a number of aspects of blender not covered here. Like modeling or uv mapping or sculpting.
@@kobaltmyst8074 the information u get here is quiet rare compared to the other aspects of blender is pretty easy to find tutorials making this channel great
I cannot overstate how great this tutorial was. I literally can’t ever finish a blender project without messing up some obscure setting and getting lost and giving up. I actually made this final render and I’m so happy 😭😭😭😭
i might be biased being from nashville, but this is the best blender channel, no question. I've attempted to learn blender like 5-6 times in the past and never got anywhere. since i found this channel after like 5 days i'm further ahead than I've ever managed to get over the years, and I'm actually making things I like.
I am mostly doing geometry nodes, but I love these old tutorials of yours also, because it is just amazing inspiration. Now I just ended up using the shown shader on a plane displaced by noise texture in geonodes and the result is awesome. Thanks for the inspiration.
First just want to say I love your videos and am subscribed. Sometimes I wish you would explain why you are adding a node instead of just saying "next add this node and plug it in here." Like I am adding this color ramp after the voronoi because I want to control this parameter with it and this is how it will affect the shader. Keep them coming! I had a lot of fun doing this tutorial.
Yeah, not too difficult to link Blender values to an audio track. There are a few tutorials for older versions of Blender on the 'tube, but the basic principles should be the same.
Adding something that wasn't specifically mentioned around 10:00 mark, but if you cannot get the render to show the reflective surface on the bottom plane, I got it to render by adjusting the following setting: Select the bottom plane -> "Material Properties" -> "Surface" -> The setting at top labeled "Surface", I changed from "Principled BSDF" to "Glossy BSDF" Hope that helps! And thank you @Ducky 3D , your videos are my main source of Blender inspiration!
Brand new to blender today, after watching this I feel like I've got a way better understanding. It was hard to follow at times as sometimes you said 'go here' instead of outlining specific buttons, but was easy to rewind. Great video and thanks again.
Another quality abstract design element with plenty of scope for random variation - the reflection really adds to the scene - would make for a smart animation indeed 🌠💯👀👌🌟😎
Hey just wanted to say that ever since I started doing your tutorials, I see all of your other tutorials in my feed. I Really like your art style, it was renders like these that Drew me to blender in the first place!!!
Thers a smoothness slider on the subdivide?!?! HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS!!! Man, this program make me feel dumb sometimes.... Thanks, thats really good to know.
I always find your videos helpful, and I wanted to say thank you for all the content you deliver and the hard work you put in to these videos. I can't wait to use this technique for one of my videos! Keep up the good work!
That's also very cool I like it very much. Especially I like your always new ideas and your textures. And your crisp, direct way. Showing how it works and is good. I like that. One can also learn a lot from you. Thank you very much for this tutorial. Super good work. I am looking forward to your next tutorial
As a new user when buying your files...is it alot easier following your work? Also this vid is 3 years old and am wondering if anything has changed when purchasing? Thx in adv.
Wow, thank you for the nice tutorial! One question - is there a way to make this 'cement' looks wet where it meets water? Maybe same trick with vertex weight proximity?
Brick texture not working when I put it in height it only affects the sides and is going up also with the setting on the brick texture it just disappears pleas help
Hi there! This is such a great tutorial thank you, but I can not seem to get the lighting correct 🤦♀️ and I swear I have followed step by step… please let me know where I’m going wrong? Thank you so much!
11:05 I have problem, mine ocean does not reflect by anything, I did just like he said in video but still my ocean do not reflect anything, please if someone know how to solve this, leave comment, thanks
hi ducky i really appreciate if you help me i finished everything but my displacement colors movement doesnt show as render preview on render image.. the circular movement look linear and not circular like it looks on render preview and shading
your work is always very nice but dude can you slow down a touch please? you go through these at the speed of light. I might play at half speed just to figure out what you're doing half the time.
Learning a lot from your videos, but I feel as though I need more knowledge of the program itself. Like I have some amazing things I've drawn out, but I dont know how to build them in the application. This is a beautiful piece, I want to do more abstract things like this....where would be a good place to start to learn the basics.
I easily followed this tutorial, and made it look almost identical, but I want my artistic side to be shown....its easy to follow tuts, but hard to make your own 😭
Hey man i am new to blender 2.8 and i still don't know the short cuts and where everything is so can you please when you do something or click anything tell us which button you clicked?
Cool stuff, never used that modifier before! I always see your videos popping up around the Blender community, I'll have to check out some more. Thanks for sharing!
Loved the tutorial! I'm new to blender and your videos are great!! Thank you! However, I do find a problem with the reflection in the water in this one, even tho I do use the same settings as you do. I can tell that your lightning is different from mine when generating a new file. Could there be some kind of preset that I'm missing? :)
I tried f curves, but it is a lot of work(you need to set certain range of frequency), if you want to make audio visualizer, watch ducky's video about bizualizer(blender addon)
Whenever I click the scene lights scene world boxes, my layout image gets very washed out and bright, and thats before I even put the strength up to 30. Not entirely sure what it is I did wrong somewhere in the tutorial to get this unfortunate end result.. any help or suggestions would be awesome.

But that would Render very long. Because it is cycles render. Don’t know how it looks in evee
“Bake sounds to F-curve” might be useful, if you have a little knowledge about making animation in “Graph Editor”

Thanks mr Ducky 3D, you have awesome content.

does this only work with a torus? cause i tried with a sphere and it didnt work
