To my knowledge this addon only works in versions before 3.5
Currently using it in 3.5.0 :D It does the job. Thanks for showcasing btw. I just remembered the video from earlier and installed it today.
@@mrglissi I cant copy in the glass material? Did you have problems with that ?
3.6 is working great also!
3.6 - working ))
Im on 3.6 it did work....
finally we can make lettuce!
nothing better than extraterrestial glowing glass lettuce!
Thanks so much for featuring my addon in your awesome video! (oh yep, I'm _that_ Boris😅)
It's a really good and well-explained tutorial (and fascinating end result, too!).
Thank you so much, it really means a lot to me that people are using and enjoying it.
Glad I found your channel dude, you're literally covering everything I'm interested in right now with perfect pace and clear explanations. Also that glass shader blew my mind. Keep it up !
Woaah thank you so much for showing this off! Toyed around with it for a bit just now and it’s super fun!
Subbed!
Genuinely thank you for your love and curiosity for the software and everything motion. Huge thank you to shouting out the creators and the original spaces you get inspo from! Really helps me go down a rabbit hole myself.
Just discovered your channel and I LOVE your approach/way of properly crediting others.
Certainly my favourite new CG choober. Absolutely love your breakdowns and explanations. I’d love to see some moody reverse key light lighting on this render. ❤
YES! I've been waiting for a cool blender implementation of Differential Growth for years now, thanks for getting the news out!! Instant sub.
Man I love your content. Mainly because you share a lot of information, even the inspiration and you transmit the knowledge really smooth and understandable. Amazing job
This addon looks pretty neat and what you done at the end is also very nice. Reminds me of of those glass sculptures.
As always, great content pal! Thank you so much for sharing and being so assertive with your explainations.
Cheers!
Awesome work, keep pumping out these quality tutorials!
It's so incredible with what you come up but only use relatively easy methods. You have such an creative and aesthetic eye!
You are giving out massive value for the community my guy. appreciate you!
Little tip for the initial circle mesh, you can add a circle and just Face -> Poke Faces, it'll do the same thing in one step. Minor but maybe it helps someone.
Thanks for showing this off! I don't know what I'll do with it but I already feel the neurons firing, lol
This is dope! Looking forward to more videos like this.
Thankyou for making this.
This looks incredible! Thank you for sharing this!
Great video! Good pacing. Lots of value. Glad to find your channel!
holy shit dude your channel blew up! i'm glad to see you getting the traction you deserve, i love your 3d work heaps
💙
awesome presentation and cool material workflow with the differential tweaks
This is so damn cool, thank you!!! Also if you don't want to have to click for every iteration, once you do the first growth step with the right settings you can just hold down shift+r in the viewport to spam the repeat shortcut :))
hermano, esto es increible. hace 2 dias empece a usar blender y con tus videos aprendi un monton. sos tremenda bestia 🔥🔥
It turned out so good, I'm for sure gonna try it out ASAP. Thanks for letting everybody know about it, I LOVE FREE!!
Give me few months and I will patreon ! You definitively deserve money for all you have done , as my great grand mother used to said ( I guess every ) All good work deserves to be rewarded! Thanks so much Atti.

Bro you're doing awesome work and we learn a lot from it keep up
Such a good quality channel, keep going
This would make for some awesome animations.
An animation of a moss plant or something like that overgrowing a statue or another object would look sick!
Great addon, thank you so much for sharing :D
This guy with 8.5k makes 1mil quality videos. Awesome work. You’ll keep growing with this amazing quality. Such awesome videos
That shaded backdrop is called an infinity background. Great tutorial, I'm just beginning in Blender and I'm learning a lot.
Awesome helpful tutorial . Thank you so much.
This tutorial is so chill, it feels like hanging out lol
Saw you just uploading, wanted to express how "dope your content is" but people already voiced it pretty well 🤣🤣 - thanks as always for sharing your thoughts and methods!

This was great .. keep it going!
I'm aware of this for some time, and it's awesome
I'm so happy I found your channel.
Exactly what we need, thanks !
Interesting. I can see this being advantageous to making bushes or other plant life to grow upward in random directions.
You're awesome,, so many awesome people :P Keep it up guys, this is blowing my mind !
This can really help in my project.
New subscriber - enjoying your blender videos - Thank you
That was so damn beautiful ,Wow ty
That thing that photography studios use is called infinite background 'fon' < french
This looks like a default windows wallpaper, love it! 👍
great tut! Thanks.
another useful video ty man
bro this is so sick
Best tutorials by far
Thank you for the tutorial, I found a way to animate this using shapekeys
I love the tutorials. Glad to see someone from the Cod editing community. You don't really see it that much
I'm gonna give this addon a go at some point.
Such a lovely human being 💜
Thankk youuu ❤️
Tysm! Top tier!
love the lettuce generator add on
bro ive been watching your past few vids since theyre in my recommended and totally forgot that you were a cod editor haha. Great content tho, very enjoyable
With a couple changes to lighting and color it would look like a Windows 11 wallpaper. Animation could be done by combining it with a cloth sim or something
This is awesome! Kinda reminds me of Cordyceps in Last of Us.
I'm interested in procedurally generating bio-organic shapes in blender. This is right up my alley. Can you suggest some more add-ons/tutorials along those lines? Great video!
"If we where to teak this cube."
has a plane 🥁
xd thx for the video tho, gt play around with this later 🤓
keep it up!
The backdrop in a photo studio is generally referred to as a Cyc which is short for Cyclorama. You'd pronounce it Sike.
WOW 🤯 Another treasure 💎
thank you, sir
Very cool...thank you for sharing. Wondering if we are able to animate this "growth"?
sick video
Wow. thank you
That is amazing
dope! would be awesome if you have a animation option
dayum pretty goooooooood❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks for sharing this treasure to us and many thanks to Boris Okunskiy for this very useful addon
Very much in line with all the "Last of us" episodes coming out hahaha Great explanatory video, thanks for showing something really cool! Cheers :)
thanks so much for the tuts. can you do something with strings? houdini loves strings, it seems like geonodes is the answer but i always had difficulty recreating it
absed on the thumbnail I thought windows 12 was going to be released haha, great video tho btw :)
your ar my glossiness 🤩
Curved backdrop is a cove.
Thanks
very cool
You’re really good at this kinda stuff, do you think you could make a supernova explosion?
thanks, and no idea tbh
Bravo. 👏
That was super cool. Can you use it in conjunction with texts?
Hi, thanks a lot for this great tutorial. Is it possible to animate the differential growth on the timeline?
Very interesting.I'm working on a sci-fi undead space empire and am looking a unique interesting ship design that reflects their organic biotech aesthetic design notes and this really opens up some opportunity there. I'll have to consider how to maybe rig it or use it as the base for maybe integrated it as fabrics and mess with it's rigidity or atmospheric properties to see if it can't flow in a way complimentary to it's form here alongside some bone like hard surface materials for contrast and interest in the forms. All in all, it's really compelling and inspiring my design direction to move into a more floaty kind of thing that could also mimic hanging organic tapestries or something when a ship lands, creating some kind of theater stage backdrop for other animation work... Space meat flower is oddly poetic. 😂
Thanks for sharing. 😎👍
if only you can animate the growth like pyhsarum plug-in for after effect, i mean holy shit...that would've been magnificent
