    I'm 13 days on keto and feel amazing and full of energy, I replaced the butter with ghee i made and i used crunchy natural peanut butter and used the microwave technique. I put pink salt on top of half of my bombs. Subbed and can't wait to look and try more of your videos

    I've been making these for years I put them in a little Jelly Bean molds it helps with portion control. I freeze mine first and then
    I keep mine in the fridge I don't have a problem with them getting soft.
    I add a little almond extract flavoring and sometimes I will crack salt or even sprinkle Cayenne on top before I put them in the freezer. Yummy. I want to try experimenting with different flavorings like maybe caramel. Also chopping up almonds or pecans and mixing it in before you pour the chocolate in your mold is a nice treat

    I made these today. They're in the freezer now and I can't wait to try them out. I used PB2 powder instead of peanut butter (just to use it up). Also, I used closer to 1/3 cup of Stevia and about a half tsp of vanilla. I also stirred constantly over low heat for about 5 minutes to incorporate. It definitely needs !

      One thing I've found with inspiration is that if you make sure to learn something every day about what you're involved with, it helps keep the interest level up. Do that learning in the morning before you do anything else and you won't get distracted away from it. Also, the more you learn about keto/low carb, the better you'll be with it.

  • @MarcellHobbs

    How long do they last/stay fresh? I’m on day twelve of Keto. I don’t get hungry, and usually force myself one meal a day when I feel a headache coming on. I worry that fat bombs may hinder that as well, but would like to try the recipe just to have on hand. Your presentation was awesome! Love the fact that you don’t have a microwave👍🏻 Have you ever used a double boiler for melting, or do you find it unnecessary?

    • @Dot2TrotsLowCarbLiving
      @Dot2TrotsLowCarbLiving  6 лет назад

      They last a long time, but that's likely because I keep them in the freezer. I love the crunch when you bite into them (they're super cold though, so smaller is better). I've used a double boiler to make a ganache before, and it'd work great for this.

    • @Dot2TrotsLowCarbLiving
      @Dot2TrotsLowCarbLiving  6 лет назад

      I tend to use granular when I am baking something -- so the heat and moisture help melt the crystals. When I'm dealing with recipes without cooking or limited heat, I use the powdered. Hope that helps.

    If you replace the coconut oil for cacao butter you will be able to keep them in the fridge. They also taste more chocolaty ;)
