But I’m glad Olympic is finally getting a project of her own! Ol’ Reliable deserves it. Never thought about how creepy it’d be to be *alone?* on board a ship as massive as Olympic. Looking forward to the next installments. Great work!
This series has only been out for a day or so, and already two installments! This is genuinely one of my new favorite things. "Old Reliable" is my personal favorite liner and I hope that this may give her just a bit more recognition.

Okay theory time: the mesh is people. Something got Mauritania’s passengers which transferred to the Olympic and took her passengers too. This thing for some reason likes to keep the ships in their original condition, (Mauritania’s white hull.) so that is why Olympic is still in her 1911 condition. Perhaps Olympic went missing for a few decades, and when found was turned into a hotel. The mesh, which is the mass of people, doesn’t like the ship being messed with, and is now killing as many people as possible. Edit: the title of this episode also implies the mass is adding people to it.
also, in the original video (introduction) for 1 frame you can see the message "FOUND THE BOYS NOW PART OF THE LIFT" after he complains about the lift not working, as if the mesh is fusing passengers to parts of the ship

2:05 I noticed that if you pause the video at this mark and at the right frame you can see a black figure’s arm or claw reaching out from just outside the elevator.
The very final, blue-tinted frames show that whatever that thing is has multiple tendrils, but using period and comma to advance frame by frame, I'm also noticing that some more whitish thing pops out INSIDE the elevator, from the left side of the grate
I did not expect two episodes to premiere in the same day, but I’m hooked. Something is happening aboard the Olympic and I’m intrigued to learn more. Also, the inclusion of Rick Astley seems weird, but I’m starting to think that the song choice might be a clue to what the “mesh” is.
Your rendering looks amazing and I think it’s just perfect, one thing that’s missing is the realistic hand-held camera movement, in the 80s especially as cameras usually had poor to no stabilization and had bad shaking especially when zoomed in (I know this from personal experience)
Would love to know what happened in that hour between 1:27 when everything was calm and 2:43 when it all went to hell 👀 Also, picking up on a lot of little differences between this and the first video, like the dining room windows. Nice work!
If it helps put the pieces together at all, the end of the last shot we see of 1:27 AM focuses on the same end of the hallway that the first shot of 2:43 AM starts running out of. That is, whatever's chasing him came from the back of the ship. Come to think of it, further down that particular hallway is the freight elevator from the first video-the same one that "keeps acting up" and which "the boys [are] now part of" ...They HAVE to be related...

I'm really and genuinely curious... If you were to tape over a tape with media already on it can something like this actually happen? (I.e. media prevoisly on a tape to seep trough the cracks)

(Titanic most likely didn't sink in 1912 in this universe as Lusitania sank in her stead it seems) did Titanic become Olympic in this and do all the stuff she did in her career? Did Britannic still sink? i guess we'll find out later in the series

They haven’t really mentioned the titanic in any way yet so something could have happened Anyways it’s just an idea
