The legend of the Olympic Class meets the analog horror brilliance of Kane Pixels. I like where this is going.
In this universe, the Olympic is set to be open to public as a tourist attraction. The owners are going to let people onboard with whatever this mysterious and dangerous stuff is.
On a side note, it seems the Titanic actually lived a long and successful life. Also, whatever happens with the mesh always seems to include elevators.
Of all the ships in history I could go back and preserve, there are a few - Enterprise (CV-6), the battleship Oregon (BB-3), among others. But my number one pick is Olympic.
Elevators are what killed a lot of people on Lusitania, which sank in titanic’s place

There is a possibility they might try to block off the “Mesh” from ever expanding except for the stern which, has no hope to be saved.
So, immediate thought:
At least as of 1988, the mesh doesn't reach the site of Episode 1's "freight elevator" according to the maps we see at the end of the video, which I assume mark its extent as seen in 1988. This implies two things to me:
1) The thing that chased that hapless soul came from the ship's engine room, especially since we basically see the Episode 2 pursuit path highlighted in red, as part of the mesh's extent
2) If the mesh is indeed related to the freight elevator acting up, it must've spread there in the eight years between 1988 and 1996
The White Star Line decides not to make the last minute to decision to enclose the RMS Titanic’s A Deck Promenade, and thus the Titanic sets out earlier on her Maiden Voyage, perhaps in March 1912, completely avoiding the iceberg. Additionally this would explain why the “Titanic” is missing her enclosed promenade.
It must've been hard to tell the difference between ships in this timeline!
@@minecraftdoctorwhoadventur3024 Other than their nameplates which would’ve been practically unseeable in certain photos, yes, this is true, I’d say practically all of the other differences would be on their interiors.
Come to think of it, this episode gives us our first irrefutable sign that somehow, the Mesh CAN be "tamed": Both the landing between E and F deck, and the first-class elevators on D-deck, are shown in Episode 1. There, both sites are completely clean despite being covered in mesh back in '88.
But what is taming the Mesh? and what would make the Mesh attack unless it is like how certain animals, where it would attack if provoked
@@Terminatorfan1984REAL I figure that sunlight is the most probable culprit based on how we see it behave in Episode 1 and the photos taken in this episode. As for why it attacked, I imagine that it's territorial about the engine rooms and aft boiler rooms.

One thing I like about this series is how it turns the normally luxurious and elegant interiors of an Olympic-class liner into a haunting and disturbing setting.
I haven't been this scared of the D Deck Reception Room since "Titanic: Adventure Out of Time".

In Lusitania ´s video we saw a text that sayed "They wouldnt let them out" and images of elevators, now we se that the murder and the mesh in Olympic are also in the elevators, perhaps this is the way the mesh keeps expanding, it seems the mesh can also expand with every soul it takes, evidence is the poor dead guy, idk, maybe the areas where the mesh is found were a series of murders or deaths
neat theory. elevators are a form of transport and can ALSO act like cages. perhaps that mkes them an ideal place for *it* to store its food and/or to spread the infection
I think this might be reference to how during the sinking of the Lusitania, while going up, the elevator stopped due to the power, this caused those inside to drown, and never to see the light of day again
And also what could be the thing that is censored infront of the elevator, also to mention the photos taken are from a couple of hours after the soul was murdered, also, why 1988 Olympic is darker than 1996?

If this was in another universe, adjacent to an AltHist timeline I'm playing with, then the local cops would call the local paranormal agency, who would likely then call in what they call the *_NUCLEAR_* artillery in the form of a guy whose job is to be the head constable of both gods and mortals.
Jack, I love this. I'm going to go Doc Brown here, so bare with me. When the mesh claimed Mauretania, the timeline skewed into a tangent creating an alternate reality. Alternate to you and me, but reality for everyone else. The only way to repair the present is in the past.

Where we Are now:
4/6 of the great British Liners are accounted for, Olympic, Titanic, Maurtainia and Lusitania.
From this video it seems like Titanic had took Olympic’s place as crowning jewel of the White Star Line. And since we haven’t seen her in the modern day, it is presumable that she was scrapped possibly in 1935 when Our Olympic was. Or potentially she switched places with Lusitania and was Torpedoed in WWI (I have no evidence for that it’s just a possibility)
Lusitania has taken Titanic’s Place and instead of being torpedoed by U-20 she struck an Iceberg and Sank either in 1907 or 1912.
Mauritania had become a ghost ship after an unknown occurrence with the mesh. She was found by Olympic and the mush was likely transferee to her in some way. there is no other information on her as of yet.
Olympic has some how survived up to the 1990s. The mesh looks like it began in the engine and boiler rooms and had begun following the “path of least resistance” traveling up the Engine and Boiler casings and then into the funnel casing and followed it all the way up the height of the ship. Something happened on E deck causing the Mesh to spread down the forward passage of Scotland road where it either encountered the bottom of the grand staircase and/or the Elevators and is beginning to spread to both D and F decks. This was possibly spurred on by whatever happened to the dude in TogetherForever (I still don’t know what to make of what killed him, either the mesh itself or some kind of mesh born creature) who was attempting to ascend to D Deck. I can’t yet make heads or tails of what happened to Olympic after the mesh first came. With Titanic being considered the Jewel of the White Star Line, it’s possible something catastrophic happened to Olympic. Perhaps she suffered the same fate of Mauritania and became a ghost ship, managing to be on the run and stay floating until at most the 70s. It looks now she is becoming like Queen Mary and being made into a hotel/museum.
HMHS (or possibly RMS)Britannic and RMS Aquatania are still unaccounted for.
There is a photo of Aquatania during the 1920s in the last video so we know that she made it thru WW1.
I’m curious about what that black box is censoring, especially since we get multiple looks at what is very clearly a corpse.

Considering the fact the Lusitania sank instead of the Titanic, and that White Star’s downfall was partially caused by the sunken Titanic, along with the Great Depression, would Cunard Line face the fate of White Star, entering a merger with White Star (probably would’ve been called White Star-Cunard Line) before being absorbed completely?

That is a VERY good catch! And come to think of it, if you rewatch Episode 1, you'll find that the cherub replaced the D-Deck candelabra. So it's not so much that it's missing, as much as the two artifacts were swapped somehow...

This piece of mesh on the F-Deck landing is extremely curious, because both the video footage here and the deck plans at the end of the episode suggest that it got here despite the elevators terminating one deck above, and somehow without using the stairs, or via the stairs but ultimately leaving the stairs behind or perhaps getting destroyed there somehow. In short, this F-Deck landing piece of mesh is basically an "island" of the stuff, cut off from the rest of the material... unless it traveled there through the overhead?
Edit: Re-watching the various times the plans are shown, it looks like the idea here might be that the mesh essentially "dripped" down the grand staircase to reach the bottommost landing, before essentially pooling on F-Deck proper. If so, that implies that the camera man might've essentially stepped around this vertical column of mesh in order to get that footage seen at 2:12. Brave soul if so!

Me: Hating that the lack of Titanic footage means substituting Olympic, which means the open A-Deck keeps popping up when Titanic didn't have that
Perhaps that was intentional. With the Lusitania sinking in this universe presumably highlighting the need for safety reform as the Titanic did in our own, Titanic in this universe was likely fitted with lifeboats all along her Boat Deck while her A Deck promenade was kept open along the entirety of its length to make up for lack of space on the Boat Deck.

What is it about the elevators? That is what has me stumped. Is the mesh actively trying to inhibit movement around the ship? It seems it also has an obsession with the engine rooms also, is it harnessing the energy from the boilers? Also seeing the guy's shoes is so harrowing, and I never thought the Olympic class could be so creepy without the lights on and at night. Also, anyone know what that piano piece is at the end? As is always the case with Jack, the music is exquisite.

The way this series is made its almost like S.T.A.L.K.E.R, but instead of Chornobyl. Its on Trans Atlantic Steamships. Like the mesh reminds me very much of the anomalies in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. In a way to me the mesh is like some sort of radiation in his behavour. The way the footage is shot reminds me of the footage and images taken at reactor 4 after the disaster.
I bet you had inspiration from the Strugatsky Brothers Roadside Picnic.

I was really going to make a series where Titanic 2 is introduced by the cunard line (idk why) then the ship goes over the site where the real titanic sank and then the souls of the boat mess with the boilers 2 days later then cause a boiler explosion, causing the ship to sink. Then a cruise ship version is made of the titanic then it goes over the site where both the ships sank. (Because cunard line ships still have ocean liners) Then they see a ghost ship of the titanic and then all the people on the new ship just dont come back.....
It was going to be my biggest series yet. If you would, like this idea. Please feel free to say so

I really want to know where this “Mesh” came from, but through the episodes I’ve seen already, it appears to have the power to alter our timeline. The “Mesh” has appeared to alter the time of the Olympic and the Mauritania being in 1996, and the Titanic switching places with the Lusitania, which is a whole new take on the “Switch-Theory” lol.

What confuses me is that the videos of “Titanic” are Olympic in our universe. Which makes me think… Could the switch theory have happened in this universe? Probably not but just a thought😅 EDIT: Could those red spots on the deck plans of Olympic be the places the mesh has taken over?

For a very long time. IF I was extremely wealthy rich I would have a modern day clone copy of RMS BRITANNIC built. With well hidden modern technology. My ship RMS BRITANNIC would serve as my floating home. My ship would have mostly ex Navy people who have the best training in the world. Also the crew complemented would be around 550 to 650. And my ship would have live on board guest around 485 to 685. When ever I need to travel the world. I would be traveling in style.
RMS BRITANNIC would be built in Belfast Ireland at the Harland and Wolff ship yards and my ship would be steamed powered by twin nuclear reactors of military quality and the ship would have a small on board hospital for everyone who is on board my ship.

I recommend watching the other videos on this series. It'll help you get an understanding.
In this timeline, in 1907, Mauretania encounters the mesh in the middle of a crossing and her boarded humans are lost. The ship is considered lost at sea for months. This causes a chain of critical events to happen that changes history. Titanic no longer sinks in 1912, but rather Lusitania seemingly does and has a movie based on it instead of Titanic. Olympic is now effectively a tourist attraction but is being haunted by the same mesh that contaminated Mauretania all these years later which is why people are going inside to investigate the mesh I believe. We do not know Mauretania or Titanic's current fate, though Titanic has likely been scrapped like the real life Olympic since it became the pride of the White Star Line just like Olympic in real life. Someone theorised in a comment section of a previous video that Olympic has travelled in time to the 1980's/1990's due to the mesh.

Sorry, English is not my first language so I can't comprehend what is the definition of a mesh in this scenario, can someone explain?
We don't really know yet, all we know is that the mesh is infecting the ship and taking in people, as well as changing history with the Titanic not sinking in this universe
We don’t know WHAT the mesh is. All we do know is that it is anomalous in nature, it acts like a parasite within the ship, it might be intelligent, and there’s a chance that it is organic.
If the ship got fully infected by that mesh thingy the US government or UN will try destroy that ship.
(My theory, sorry if it's short)
The U.S. will probably try their last nuclear test device on the ship after they haul her out in the middle of the Atlantic ocean as a quickest way to finish it

What’s a mesh.
We don’t know what it is. All that’s for sure is that it’s seemingly parasitic in relation to the ship, and it’s anomalous in nature. It might also be organic, judging by the fact that it can spread, and the way it pulsates. There’s just a whole lot that we DON’T know about the Mesh, and that’s part of what makes it scary
