Okay here’s a timeline of events (probably missing some) 1906- Mauritania and Lusitania enter service for the Cunard line 1911- Rms Olympic enters service for the white star line, and on her maden voyage, finds the abandoned Mauritania and tows it into port. Mauritania is deemed too dangerous to enter. Olympic contracts the mesh. 1911- Lusitania sinks after striking an iceberg. The iceberg scrapes all the way along her side, perhaps sinking her faster. Will Mcgowen survives the sinking at age 19. 1912- Titanic enters service and likely contracts the mesh from Olympic. Despite this she seems to be beloved by passengers. 1915- Britannic enters service and is destroyed during her sea trials. 19xx- other ships contract the mesh, likely spreading through interactions between the ships like a sickness. 1987- Will Mcgowen is interviewed about the Lusitania sinking at age 22 by a foundation researching the ships. This implies they have the power to bring things forward in time. Also around this time the foundation collects many old ships that are presumably infected, including the Titanic. Curiously, Olympic is not seen with the other ships, though they do seem to be involved with her in some way. 1988- Someone is killed in the elevator of Olympic, designated as SS Olympic implying she has been decommissioned by this point. 1996- SS Olympic is in the process of being converted into a hotel 1998- Olympic goes missing 2004- Olympic is found abandoned by the royal navy around the Isle of Man.

@@windbreaker2432 IIRC the Foundation was originally a cooperation between preexisting organizations that deal with anomalies, and a "Her Majesty's Foundation for the Study of Curiosities and Phantasmagoria" existed at least up to the early 20th century.
titanic showing up at the end like one of the cool kids made me think that the ship just pulled up cause it wanted to know what all the fuss was about.
What's interesting here is that Titanic looks exactly like Olympic, her A Deck promenade is fully exposed, and the large B Deck windows indicates she never received her luxurious 1st Class Suites Titanic does have the windows for the Café Parisien, but the rest of B Deck is unaltered from the original designs
@@SouthshoreVice it was actually *_OVER CAPACITY_* in our timeline, surprisingly enough, but the Titanic disaster saw to that. Funnily enough, the Brittanic had so few fatalities because the White Star Line added better davises to the design, which could function in the extreme conditions of the sinking.
Also note her evenly spaced B-deck windows-something else that was historically changed from Olympic to Titanic. And yet, both changes are in-line with the Titanic we saw in the news reel footage... Jack confirmed on the Titanic: Honor & Glory Discord server that these ships might be designed/built slightly differently than in our own timeline

Tell Me Sweet Little Lies fits before perfectly for the crew of Project Britannica because they can't tell why they do what they do, so they tell people lies, tell them Sweet Little Lies 😊
Me and my friend watched this and loved it. We came up with some stupid jokes. For example, the man we nicknamed "scout" because he thought it looked like scout from TF2. We named the incident "the outburst of '87" for obvious reasons for the fact it occurred in 1987.
This is really amazing, this series is like a rare gem in a huge pile. At this point this should be a full series, this goes way beyond analog horror in a great way.
It’s interesting because the Titanic in this alternate universe looks a lot more like the Olympic afte her sister the Titanic sank in our time line of events. But this Titanic looks identical to Olympic after 1920 with more life boats added and the A deck promenade being opened and not the inclosed . My theory is that after the Britannic sank on her sea trials in 1915 the titanic and the Olympic were improved with the same safety measures like more lifeboats a double water tight bulkhead and also were made to have similar features like the opened A deck promenade .Possibly the titanic kept her Parisian Café or her first class cabins on B deck or possibly those rooms were built on the Olympic too . This was done in an attempt by the white star line to pass the two ships as a duo rather than a trio.
That is absolutely amazing! There is more ships! And they are moored near a building! In sets! So many cruise ships! Mesh infected cruise ships. But still amazing to do! And there is a man who time traveled or mutated or something. Poor guy. Hopefully he is escaping by his own will.
Titanic at the end with the lightning was pure genius. I’m still confused as to what the mesh is despite looking for every detail, idk if I missed smth. I guess I’ll find out soon. yk what, im at a loss for words. just make a movie at this point. im begging you. please. that ending was the most beautiful thing ive ever witnessed, that literally is movie-worthy, man...
I think the Titanic had a full life and military service. Then for some reason she got put in storage in the 30s. She might have been ok till she came in contact with a infected ship. Then they shoved their functional but infected ship in storage. Hoping to get rid of the mesh. She might be horribley infected. She looks sinister there. They mention Mauritania being 96% or so inhabited and wear hazmat suits always. How bad Titanic got to be worse than that one. Shudder.
I know its likely just a result of a renamed 1930s Olympic model being used as a stand-in until a proper 1930s-style Titanic can be made, but it's still strange how Titanic's missing her A-deck screens, I wonder if there'll be any in-universe explanation as to why they're not there whether it be because she's in the middle of a refurbishment or something crazy like the mesh deciding it wanted to have a tasty little treat one night.
Something interesting about the inclusion of the Waratah is that the manner of accounts of the real-life sinking correlate somewhat with what we saw in Britannic.mov, with "two bright flashes from the direction of the ship" spotted from the nearby Harlow according to the wikipedia article. Not sure if that's intentional or even the inspiration for how Brittanic sank in this series but I thought that was an interesting detail
Spoilers I have a theory. Will Mcgowen, the person being interrogated in the video, was 19 years old in the year 1911, but is only 22 years old in the year 1987, and between these 2 years is a 76 year gap between them. This could mean that Will Mcgowen along with the ship he was on was caught in a space-time anomaly that sent them to a different dimension, where a year in that dimension is equivalent to 25.3333333333 years in our dimension, thus why he is still so young; and the mesh, whatever it is, also likely come from that same dimension.
She's been in storage since 1935, in this. Since Lusitania sank. So she has just been sitting about, doing ship stuff. Or being really infected by Mesh. And they had her in quarantine. Trying to remove it. Or she is the one uninfected ship. And that's why she's been in storage.
@@CommanderViviaxwelp in the mesh archives there is no infection level on titanic indicating that she has never been infected by the mesh soo maybe they put her on storage

What's interesting here is that Titanic looks exactly like Olympic, her A Deck promenade is fully exposed, and the large B Deck windows indicates she never received her luxurious 1st Class Suites
Titanic does have the windows for the Café Parisien, but the rest of B Deck is unaltered from the original designs
This series needed more views bro, its just fantastic. Starting from being THG and Oceanliner design animator, now decided to make his own series
This seems like a great series, but oh boy this is confusing as heck for me.
I hope the liners can escape the mesh in the end, ALSO WHY DID THE OUTRO GO SO HARD😍😍😍
Wait, Titanic had her A deck promenade enclosed in March 1912. Here it's opened like Olympics.
Propably in this uniwerse they didn't change the titanic's promenade
Full complement of lifeboats too.
Sooo Mauritania and Olympic were not scrapped but moored to british docks!??
THIS. THIS IS THE BEST ANALOG HORROR ON YT. RIGHT THERE WITH THINGS LIKE THE WALTEN FILES AND ECT. YOU, MY GOOD MAN, ARE AMAZING. THIS SERIES IS AMAZING, THE STORY IS AMAZING, EVERY SINGLE DETAIL IS AMAZING! AND THAT ENDING- OH MY GOD- MWA! GOOD JOB DUDE!
And I thought Angel Hare would be the top or the M.C., but no - this goes beyond both of those series.
The Titanic bit at the end gave me chills
The interrogation went great1!!1!1!1!1
If going by the Sketch of how Lusitania sank,it sank in a manner quite similar to Britannic in Britannic.mov, just without thr massive explosions, but as it splits, the sketch either presents and explosion or The Mesh attempting to free itself, followed by it keeling over( as shown by the arrow im guessing ) to the starboard side, just like Britannic did.
Makes me wonder, what role will the Titanic have in this series?
HOLY MOLY THEY MENTION WARATAH
And Titanic looks even sexier with the extra lifeboats!!
@@LuisAngelSantos first a man sexually attracted to cars, now this 💀
its not even the waratah in the photo!! the photo he even edited is labeled the ss commonwealth!!! like get it right at least 😭
@@Flaccidcake its mentioned in the video 💀
@@nursestoyland not talking about that, when they mention the waratah they show a photo of the ss commonwealth in its place :sob
Oooh interesting. Titanic is still around, but with none of her 1911-1912 modifications, and has a boat deck lined with lifeboats. Very fascinating!
Where? I can't really see it
@@TheOneAndOnlyWeeber69 she’s the last ship in the video, the modifications made to the real Titanic I’m referencing are the narrow unevenly spaced windows, which were installed in 1911. The Titanic in this video has large evenly spaced windows on B Deck, and no enclosed A Deck promenade, which was installed on the real Titanic in March 1912.
This series is goated, where is film theory at?
Edit: Nah mr. Mcgowen was having none of it 💀
Edit 2: NAHH THEY HAVE TITANIC
Edit 3: Thx for like :D
He went into gamer rage 0-0
Where’s film theory? Nah bros been living under a rock 💀
What Is "The Mesh"?
@@DavidAlvaranga I think it's some sort of fungus that eats people idk to be honest
Tell Me Sweet Little Lies fits before perfectly for the crew of Project Britannica because they can't tell why they do what they do, so they tell people lies, tell them Sweet Little Lies 😊
Nearly missed the Titanic nameplate cause I was watching the third funnel so closely! 😆
Poor guy.
Hopefully he is escaping by his own will.
oK WHAT IS THAT ENDING
I AM . MIND BLOWN.
i am _invested_
arrogance of man to be ???? ??? nature
they wouldnt ??? them out
These get better and better with every video, now there's voice acting and even more plot being revealed, looking forward to the next one already.
So the switch actually happened damn
9:30 City of New York before Titanic?
Is Will McGowen supposed to be this world's version of Jack Thayer, or are they two separate guys?
Bro the ending was straight fire 😭🔥🔥
Titanic at the end with the lightning was pure genius. I’m still confused as to what the mesh is despite looking for every detail, idk if I missed smth. I guess I’ll find out soon. It’s also interesting how the person was 22 in 1987. This is a very nice series only most ship fans will understand. Keep up the spectacular work!
Someone get matpat on this right now we need him to pick apart every molecule of this series
matpat retired
We finally got lore of what about is project britannica
9:17 - If there wasn’t anything supernatural happening with them, you could start a cruise line with all those ships.

FLEETWOOD MAC MENTIONED 🗣️‼️🔥🔥🔥🔥
BRO SO GOOD OMG THE ENDING THANK YOU JACK G🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Age 19 (1911)
Age 22 (1987)
🤔
Hey Jack, really awesome series (so far i watched) i just wanted to know, is the playlist for the season in correct watching order? Im kind of confused by the times the videos were published and wanted to know. Thanks!
As an analog horror creator myself, it is always great to see interesting ideas like this!
Oh wow, hey i love your analog horror puppy video!
Wait but wasn't Empress of Britain, Aquitania, Mauretania & Olympic RMS, not SS?
I mean they were also sometimes referred to as "S.S".
@@TaigaSpringtrap Their official designation was Royal Mail Ship (RMS). If they were referred as SS in the past, it was a mistake.
@@Rudnaz_127 I think that when the ships were retired, they were rebranded from the Royal mail service (rms) and was replaced with steam ship (S.S.)
@@Noraiden Okay, that seems plausible
Man I was trully hyped to see the Titanic at the end
This is PEAK Analog Horror fr
from 8:06 to 8:24, McGowen is seemingly performing an act of sheer strength somehow
Notice the mesh coming out of his nose, ears, hair, etc.
This instalment was fire 🔥
I loved the ending music that was picked
And I like the bomb shell of Titanic
Keep it up and I’m excited to see the next instalment
Anyone notice how titanic has its old design/olympics? I heard another comment talking about how when it shows titanic “little lies” plays, inferring the switch theory?
No.
@@TaigaSpringtrap I wrote this before they said Titanic was refit in 1918
Ok@@QueenMaryStan .
yk what, im at a loss for words. just make a movie at this point. im begging you. please. that ending was the most beautiful thing ive ever witnessed, that literally is movie-worthy, man...
The ending music lyrics "Tell me lies" and the TITANIC nameplate seems to suggest a switch theory reference?
Something tells me the titanic is more infected then the Olympic
I think the Titanic had a full life and military service. Then for some reason she got put in storage in the 30s. She might have been ok till she came in contact with a infected ship. Then they shoved their functional but infected ship in storage. Hoping to get rid of the mesh. She might be horribley infected. She looks sinister there.
They mention Mauritania being 96% or so inhabited and wear hazmat suits always.
How bad Titanic got to be worse than that one. Shudder.
I was skeptical about the idea of this at the start, but I’m really excited to see where it goes next
That Titanic went into militery service at least once. Maybe they cut bits off to make her more practical.
Looks like they're doing research
He's oceanliner designs' animater, he doesn't need to
Something interesting about the inclusion of the Waratah is that the manner of accounts of the real-life sinking correlate somewhat with what we saw in Britannic.mov, with "two bright flashes from the direction of the ship" spotted from the nearby Harlow according to the wikipedia article. Not sure if that's intentional or even the inspiration for how Brittanic sank in this series but I thought that was an interesting detail
Absolutely glorious
Spoilers
I have a theory.
Until we get official confirmation, I’ll go with this.
THE ENDING THOUGH
So, in this universe, did the Olympic switch really happen? I'm so lost..
TITANIC????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT’S SHE DOIN HERE??
She's been in storage since 1935, in this. Since Lusitania sank.
So she has just been sitting about, doing ship stuff.
Or being really infected by Mesh. And they had her in quarantine. Trying to remove it.
Or she is the one uninfected ship. And that's why she's been in storage.
@@CommanderViviaxwelp in the mesh archives there is no infection level on titanic indicating that she has never been infected by the mesh soo maybe they put her on storage
I LOVE AQUITANIA IM SO HAPPY ITS REMEBERED!
yup, a mesh infested Aquitania by the looks of it 😔
Atleast she survived though
@@TheHistoricalLine Yeah
Absolutely speechless. I Literally can not describe how great this episode was, bravo jack!
I love this type of analog Horror about alternate universe of our reality
Hold the hell up! After watching this for the hundredth time, around 9:48, it appears that someone is on the Titanic's brigde just outside of the wheelhouse!
Actually, thats the olympic since the promenade deck is not enclosed, but aside from that. Nice detail you caught there.
@@ljschcru2013 have you read the name plate?
@@Firehead9531 i did, but some people say its supposed to reference the switch theory as a joke i think so the nameplate isnt really canon.
@@Firehead9531 or the other saying about how titanic never got the enclosed promenade deck and the decrease of lifeboats, as this is alternative history.
@@ljschcru2013 That might be the case, given that this is a really cool alternative naval history series, but as we've seen the Olympic in other videos, it doesn't make much sense for it to constantly switch names.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! i love trying go decode this :D
the introduction to Titanic is just perfect. better than the crap netflix gives us.
AMAZIN'. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUAL.
I hope Project Britannica story continues
At the static it say "you werent supposed to live will" i theorise that this is the mesh trying to tell us thst history is not going the path it wants it to go. Or, something messed up the timeline and its trying to warn us about it.
1:15 love the fact the company that made the fan is called fan
Holy shit dude this was amazing best episode by far I do hope for you to continue this amazing journey that you are starting with your channel because you clearly have talent.
This is the scariest video of the series yet. Great work!
I remember having this VHS but I lost it in 1982 when I moved house
ok, Maure is in 1907 launch form, Olympic is 1910 form, Lusi is dead, and Titanic is in her concept design? as in she has all 64 lifeboats OR she is in Olympic's 1920s to 35 form.
