Hey Scott. Thanks for a great video. I have a Thermador PGR366LP/01 in which the broiler dies very quickly (had it serviced 3x). Is this video pretty close to what I would need to do with the Thermador? One side just doesn't like lighting. Thanks

Thanks for another good video. My model is Thermador # PRG364GDS I was told that AMP on this igniter is not adequate for my broiler. Can you recommend an igniter for my oven.
Hi Scott, Frigidaire Gas oven, igniters glow for oven and broiler but neither will light. Can’t be both igniters that went bad at the same time? Something else not letting gas flow?
Hi, my Bosch oven broiler has a simple spark igniter. The broiler won't ignite but when I let the knob go, it backfires a puff at the back of the tube suspending from the flame spreader. Any advice, please.
I changed my broil ignitor on my DCS gaz stove Part 211542P and it broke after 10 seconds, the part that heats just split in half. Are u shure it don't mather which wire we connect to the ignitor ? Because the new one does have male and female connector to it which i will cut off if they don't plug in a specific wire in the back of tbe oven. Thanks.

Hi Scott, I have a Wolf R366, my broiler is half way lit, please help.
I think you need to adjust the gas fuel mixture for your broiler to allow more gas to come in.
I have a Viking VGR-36-6B-bkP1132187The Oven knob will not turn to broil, and the broiler will not fully ignite. It turns a light red, but never gets to broil. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Do you hear gas turning on? If not, probably not enough current is flowing through the ignitor. A certain amount is needed before the gas will turn on. Replace it, and the new one will work better and more current will flow... which turns on the gas.

I think the safety valve is bad.

@@jersonjim3605 i asked because I was frustrated with my NXR broiler not working and finally resolved it. Didnt know if you needed the resolution. Yours sounded like its your oven though if I read it right.
I replaced my igniter and the broiler lights, but the igniter stays on. Is something else wrong?

It’s actually normal for the igniter to continue to grow throughout the healing process.
Do you need to shut off the gas too, I see you unplugged it.
