I love Autoglym SRP. I've tried lots of other "quality" polishes over the years just to see if there's anything better that's come along that I may be missing out on. I always end up going back to SRP though. Relatively cheap, easy to apply, even easier to buff off and doesn't leave ugly greasy swirls like some other polishes. For protection its worth preparing the paint with Autoglym Super Resin Polish then following up with either Autoglym Ultra High Definition Wax or Collinite 476. You get a good 3 to 6 months protection from the weather. Wash the car using a pH neutral shampoo (from Autoglym, of course.)

Hello David, I had a couple of questions. Firstly will this product be useful to remove some minor scratches? Secondly would it be wise to complete the polish and then separately wax the car? If so what wax would you recommend?
Hello always clay bar first for best results. Ceramic spray on top is fine. For long term protection I'd advise compound first then panel wipe followed by Ceramic
Hi. New to cleaning my car and gonna have ago at using this polish for my car but just wondering is it OK to use a spray wax after putting polish on. Was gonna use turtle wax sealent. Cheers
You need a heavy cutting compound to remove scratches and swirls, with a polisher machine which normally have 2 pads one for compound and 1 for polishing. Though if the compound contains polish u do not need to use this?😮😮😮
Turtle wax has excellent waxes and sealants, but they need to step up on polishes. The ice speed cut compound is great though, a little bit more cut than Meg's UC
Yes but thats if your doing a polish using a compound. Autoglym isnt intended for hardcore detailers. Its aim is for the enthusiast who just likes to improve the look of their car. I recently remade this video few months a go
@@epicautomotivedetailing pretty much all spray on waxes / sealants only last a few washes, 10 maximum. Waxes do last much longer, fusso coat with is a synthetic sealant/wax paste lasts for over half a year in bad conditions, garaged and well kept around 10-12 months. This is speaking for the old formula, the new formula has many fewer solvents however decreased longevity. No one should be using a polish and expecting protection... polishing is getting light scratching and swirl marks out of the paintwork, not protecting it. That’s why you always need to put a wax or sealant on top.
I’ve just washed my car and looks gd had autoglym life shine put on as it’s a new car it looked great no spots nothing then it rained and had rain spots all over it is there anything I can do to stop the rain spots marking the car
Hello you need something that can protect the car better in top. Autoglym SRP doesn't have huge lifespan. A decent ceramic spray wax would be my go to product to protect it
@@epicautomotivedetailing what Autoglym product would you recommend when it’s rained can I put it straight on or have I got to wash it again as I only washed it like 10 mins then it rained
Hello, What pad do you recommend using with SRP? I am thinking about using Polishing pad, white, soft by koch chemie to hide light swirl marks. Car paint has very light scratches/swirl marks so i am skipping compounding process.
In that case can I recommended you get rupes white zephyr gloss. It's got a white lid. It's a gel style compound/polish . No powder. It improves clarity and it doesn't make any mess. By far the best product for me. Follow it up with a ceramic sealant by garage therapy or bear car care for a stunning finish. Plus it's easy with no dramas involved 👍
Can this be put on with a da polisher and say light pad like hex logic green or red Second question if using polisher would you spray the pad with water for moisture any help appreciated thanks
What spray wax are you using? To optimise super resin polish i suggest you go for Autoglym extra gloss protection. That will give you anywhere upto 30 extra washes and keeps srp on for longer
@@epicautomotivedetailing i want to use turtle wax seal n shine wich is a long lasting spray wax. should i use a degreser after polishing to make the wax stick better to the paintwork?
That's a very interesting question. Personally I would use it in top. It does contain carnauba which is totally fine to apply on top of SRP. If you were going down a different such as actually doing a full on detail eg. Clay bar,Machine polish etc then you probably wouldn't even use SRP anyway as its main purpose is a short term glossy shine for those one off days. If you wanted to a quick detail or paint enhancement on a car in a day for example I would use megs ultimate compound,IPA then perhaps zaino z5 pro so you get the durability combined with the shine.
In our country, we do not have Autoglym extra gloss protection product. If, for example, I use the Autoglym Super Resin polish and want to have longer-term protection, what should I use after it?
No not on this occasion, you do whatever the client requests. If they refuse to accept they want a clay bar but insist they want a polish then go wherever the money is and make the best of it. Business is very different to weekend warriors methods
Its the best value for money polish on the market. It's not over priced but it's not the cheapest either but the criticism of it not being long term is wrong. Yes, the gloss protection is great but cars get dirty just by being rained on. Ceramic coated cars bead up....no good in the rain as the beads cause water spots as they dry exactly the same as non polished cars do. You do have to manually dry a car to avoid it, polish or not...ceramic coating or not. It's an essential part of anyone's kit.
It's a process...it does not have any direct competition as it is a unique product, some abrasives will filler with restricted cut...just like facial exfoliating..

Hello always clay bar first for best results. Ceramic spray on top is fine. For long term protection I'd advise compound first then panel wipe followed by Ceramic
Hey what do you advise, Turtle Wax Ceramic Polish and Wax or Autoglym polish, I always finish with Ceramic hybrid wax, I just need a good polish.
Hi. New to cleaning my car and gonna have ago at using this polish for my car but just wondering is it OK to use a spray wax after putting polish on. Was gonna use turtle wax sealent. Cheers
Yes it will help give it extra protection
Cheers❤️❤️
Thank you
Will this remove swirls marks?
No it will just hide them for a month or so
You need a heavy cutting compound to remove scratches and swirls, with a polisher machine which normally have 2 pads one for compound and 1 for polishing.
Though if the compound contains polish u do not need to use this?😮😮😮
Can I use the super resin polish with extra gloss protection then put on the polar seal over the top of it?
Yes you can Autoglym recommend that it's actually used as a top up to provide additional protection to any waxes or polishes
@@epicautomotivedetailing thanks bro 👌
Excelent product❤
Would adding a wax like fusso on top affect its gloss of the resin polish? Thanks
Yes any lsp last step protection is necessary...Fusso is excellent.
Whats your thoughts on water less wash n wax polish ?
You need more lubricity, no professional detailers use wipe on products...for cleaning.
Can you use a machine policher
No it doesn't offer any benefits
I used to use turtle Wax but switched to Autoglym as it offered Better results
good move
Turtle wax has excellent waxes and sealants, but they need to step up on polishes. The ice speed cut compound is great though, a little bit more cut than Meg's UC
Do you not need to clay bar the car after the wash in order to get rid of any contaminants before polishing?
Yes but thats if your doing a polish using a compound. Autoglym isnt intended for hardcore detailers. Its aim is for the enthusiast who just likes to improve the look of their car. I recently remade this video few months a go
After polishing, do it need to be waxed?
(Lowkey, I know i don’t have much knowing about detailling.)
Ideally yes. Bare in mind Wax doesn't last long, one product I love at the moment is Meguairs ceramic liquid wax. It's very user friendly
Is the SRP similar product with Xpert-60 super nano resin polish?
I'd say nano technology has come a long way do would be interested in seeing myself. I haven't tried though my friend
This is a unique product....the US do not have anything similar...
Try a test spot.
Can i use a seperate wax with this? If so should i wax it before or after srp?
After SRP....
What ceramic spray is they as my car dear I had the autoglym life shine applied with the pack
Can i apply paste wax after super resin polish?
Yes you can my friend it's ace
Hi, can you use autoglym ceramic spray after this?
Yes
Won't it take the polish off?
Should I use or apply this to my car every month?
For long term use compound. After a while a monthly Polish will become tedious
thanks could yuo use it with a electric polisher
you can but its not worth it. It doesnt make much difference and if anything it adds more risk to mess it up. Rupes uno protect would be better
👌 super produkt
Can this be put on with a da polisher and say light pad like hex logic green or red
Second question if using polisher would you spray the pad with water for moisture any help appreciated thanks
Personally I wouldn't recommend it. If you got a polisher then Break out a compound
Will this help get ghost letters off my van? Thanks.
tar and glue remover for residue then ideally use a compound. this doesnt have enough abrasives to make an impact
What wax or polish would you use after autoglym super resin polish to give a longer last nice look on a black car
Meguairs ceramic liquid wax has a beautiful finish 👌
What would you use over the top of this?
Hello I ceramic spray or wax. My next video is a remake of this one and it comes this weekend
Do they have a ceramic or graphene topper
Rapid ceramic spray
i want to add a spray wax on top after the srp. Should i first remove the polishing oils with alchohol/degreaser?
What spray wax are you using? To optimise super resin polish i suggest you go for Autoglym extra gloss protection. That will give you anywhere upto 30 extra washes and keeps srp on for longer
I had the same thoughts. I use polar blast so was going to wash, clean and dry, then polish with SRP. Rinse over and then cover with polar seal.
Can you use this on powder coating
Yes...
In our country, we do not have Autoglym extra gloss protection product. If, for example, I use the Autoglym Super Resin polish and want to have longer-term protection, what should I use after it?
Hello Justina's, I've used canauba wax many times afterwards and I find that offers a good level of protection 👌
Is this good to remove marring from clay bar
No you need something with cut...SRP has very little..
Meguiars 210,
Menzerna.
Poorboys.
No clay barring before polishing?
No not on this occasion, you do whatever the client requests. If they refuse to accept they want a clay bar but insist they want a polish then go wherever the money is and make the best of it. Business is very different to weekend warriors methods
@@epicautomotivedetailing I guess srp isn't the best for reducing clay marring anyway?
@@benbirch2393 it's ok but doesn't remove all marring
Whats Extra Gloss protection like. Nobody has really done any reviews on it
Its really good. Want to make a video on one. Its on my list
I think a sheeting product is better for drying and you get no rain spots. Less impressive but more practical 🤔
It's a process...it does not have any direct competition as it is a unique product, some abrasives will filler with restricted cut...just like facial exfoliating..
Maybe you could throw some wax or ceramic spray on top?
Always recommend that
is it alright to use auto glym polar seal then this supper resin polish i have been trying to look for an answer bc am not that Shure if its one of those things you have to use one or the other
A better alternative is super resin polish followed by the rapid ceramic detailer spray. Trust me you will see a difference 👌
@@epicautomotivedetailing thank you I've only seen this defiantly will use this
Some of your old stuff coming up on feed which id cool BUT🤔
Is that Demon Shine tyre dressing next to that crap red beast 🤭🤭🤭
Lol no it's my trusty g101 . Had that bottle for years it has a great trigger 😁
