I bought some Q45s on your recommendation a week or so back (they were on sale on the soundcore site for just over 100 GBP) and I have to say I'm delighted with them. Once you've run the HearID thing in the app to set them up to your hearing they sound wayyyy more expensive than they actually are and seem so comfortable (and not sweaty) with extended use! Thanks for the heads up guys, you're doing an awesome job 😊
Same here. I ended up going for the Q45 because they were on sale for 80 GBP (after currency conversion) in my country and also comes with 1 year local warranty. At the same price point i think Q45 is the better pick.
I don't think there's a channel that both manages to be very in-depth with the very short duration especially considering how detailed their videos are. (EDIT: WhatsNew and Tech Tablets are very good at this combo as well. You're all my go-too's for this kind of stuff) very happy with my Oladance Gen 2's as someone who walks a lot in my free time.
I owe both of these and I really wanted to pick the Space Ones because I really like the auto-pause feature and they are a little lighter. But, to me, the Q45s sounded better. Even when adjusting the EQ. The Space Ones just sounded too muffled. To me, the Q45s sound much better.

I think the wind sound is a problem where anc creates de whistling noise by friction with air and since there isnt any real whistle noise out there you just hear the wind as you would normally do. Cheers, already got my Q45s after this review, cant wait to try them.

I have the Q45 and i absolultely love them. As I understood in the review, except for the smart features, the Q45 are slightly better. So I'd say that it all dependes of one wants to spend: if you can, get the Q45, if not the One are almost as good
I've noticed the ANC pressure issue on the Q45 too, but only when shaking my head up and down which causes the volume to increase and decrease suddenly
Soundcore loves to do this. They release a product that's a little more premium like the Liberty 3 pro or the Liberty 4. Then they release something with like 90% of the features at 75% of the cost and sometimes better battery life. Space a40, Liberty 4 NC, and now this one. I don't need anything new, my q30s are still holding up fine. Slightly do get
Although unlike the space a40 and the Liberty 4 nC there's no improvement for battery life here. Hopefully you're disappointing results are an outlier for the battery. It's going to be hard to know for sure though because I feel like 80% of the videos about these products are sponsored.
thank you guys for this great video 7:25 was definetely helpful for me, what I can conclude of this is that space one is more design and fancy features like the sensor and transparency mode, while q45 has all the budget in audio quality both samples and the curves let that clear for me. I'll rather go for good audio quality than fancy sensors TBH. Q45 will be my choice

I would encourage you to test the battery life again in the future. El Jefe got 42 hours with AAC and ANC on. And 39 hours with LDAC and ANC on at 75 % volume.

Q45 - for all its premium build/ sound, looks a bit like "Princess Leia's buns". Hence got the awesome blue color SpaceOne's instead.. no regrets ! Wear sensor feels like a no brainer to have on all headphones.
i must say q45 looks a bit rough on the head. but the sound quality is good. if you're not obsessed with sound quality like me, I would say get the space one. they look awesome i think. btw case isn't important. I have never use it.
same here totally not obsesed with the sound quality , but mainly comfort is the most important for me , also the easy chat function is quite important for me , as they said about the caring case and hollowness when you tap on them ... well it's totally not a disadvantages for me
Just bought a Space One from the local Anker store. I tested the Space One and Q45, and the Q45 sounded leagues better, but I had to check latency online, and it said that the Q45 had god-awful latency for games, while the Space One had tolerable latency. I plan on using these for RPGs, and then I have a wired setup with an ATH-A900x for FPS games anyway, so I'm golden.
i think that if you need ANC and that invissible funtion and you are not an audio obssesed, you go for the space1, if you are more audio obssesed and you just need an acceptable ANC, you go for the q45. Space1: Confortable and useful Q45: Superior and versatile audio
Bought both for my two kids, price was very close. I’ll let them fight over it. It does seem Soundcore gave Space One some extra bits the Q45 lacks, and battery life on the One I hope would get better!
I really appreciate the effort and humour you put into your video reviews. Just wanted to mention one thing. I've heard nothing but good things about the sound quality of the Space Q45s. Now I'm a huge Soundcore fan and have bought many of their products and the 45s were the first purchase of theirs that I returned. I had a big issue with the sound. Overall it was fine but the mids(vocals especially) sounded like they were being sung into a tunnel. That's the best l can describe it, and it was so annoying that l sent them back. I wonder if I got a faulty set because no one else mentions this? I couldn't eq it out either. I have the Q30s and love them so l had something to compare them to. Curious if anyone else has experienced this with them also? I love the colour of the Space Ones for sure!
I'm still not seeing anything that will get me to upgrade from my Q30s, and they came with a case, not a bag. The build quality, ANC, and sound quality are all excellent.

I just picked up Space 1 to replace the Q30. It is a sound upgrade. Midrange is touch clearer, but the bass is definitely cleaner. Highly recommend space 1.
The Space-1 has a new feature the cups on you're ears rotate like Spinfit eartips do. That might be causing the problems with the ANC and the whistling noise. Maybe. Thanks for the review. 💯👍🇺🇸
Thanks for a great comparison! One thing I'd like to see from you guys is use case comparisons; Sleeping on mass transit, Zoom calls in a domestic environment (kids, cooking sounds, etc), office breakroom and so on. I bought the Soundcore Ones for price reasons (I had enough Amazon credit from birthday gift cards), mostly to have a decent pair of ANC cans for flying.
Awesome video as always! I just got the Space Q45 for 99 euros, the same price as the Space One. I would have gone for the One because I tried both of them in person multiple times and the One felt more comfortable while wearing, and especially lighter... but the mic quality difference between them was a deal breaker for me.

honestly, I felt the q45 sound was more full, and overall balanced. The space ones audio in the clips to me, sounded flat and a bit washed out. lacked depth. But everyones ears are different. I currently use the q30s, been great headphones. I'll probably go with the q45s. The much superior battery life, higher comfort, better mic, and overall sound signature I like allot.
Wow great review!!! If I had to buy one pair of headphones in the $250 range regardless of brand, which one would it be? Need good ANR and sturdiness. Lay one side on pillow sometimes so they cant be too fragile. Would like your and anyone else's recommendation. Thank you!

What about white noise with ANC set to max? I have Q45 and it's horrible when I don't listen to music. Also Q45 ANC is really bad at cancelling fan noise. Do you still have them? Could you please test this?

How was your comparison between Q45 and space one? Which one sounds better? By only concern is sound quality. Otherwise space one indeed has better features
@ZafarIqbal-sn8vp These headphones sound quite similar to each other, and one doesn't sound better than the other. To my ears, One Space One has a slightly deeper bass on certain EDM extended play tracks. The Space Q45 has a "brighter" tone on those same tracks. However, with other genres of music such as Classical and Sondtrack, they are virtually identical. The Space One has a more pronounced sound leak at higher volumes, and the Q45's earpads, while smaller, seem to isolate sound better if ANC is turned off. In terms of durability, the Q45s feel less fragile. I have not had any problems with the Space Ones, but I worry that hinges might break. So, I baby them and don't fold them too often. Honestly, they are about even, and if you have to pick one over the other, it comes down to durability vs. budget price, in my opinion.

В этом ценовом диапазоне сравнивал с jbl разными моделями - не нравятся своим бум-бум или эргономикой, или материалами. Не ведитесь на диаметры, двойное то, тройное это - это все гадкие маркетологи. Нужно слушать и понимать, для чего покупаете и что важно. Если все важно - то нужно выложить 300+ евро. Все, что дешевле 250 - компромиссы. Не нужно себя обманывать. Если сравнивать space one vs q45, то это не совсем корректно, ведь последние стоят на 50% дороже первых. Если цена для вас ок - берите q45, тут все логично, все чуть лучше. Звучание оценить было сложно в магазине, долго переподключать приходилось, лучше бы в специализированных магазинах это делать: удобней и сразу можно одеть и послушать тот же трек на разных моделях. Эргономика очень важна и она во вторых лучше. Кейс - приятный и важный бонус, лучше аккумулятор, материалы. Если вопрос в бюджете - то нет смысла сравнивать. В ценовой категории первых есть jbl, sony и другие для сравнения.
Space One seems like some experimental features run amok with a run at cheaper build cost but not a cheaper price, go figure. I'm about to upgrade from q20, so I figure it's worth it rather than do a battery replacement (q20s are half life on battery and some weird paring issues such as connect but NO for laptop I think are battery related which did not happen when new--er...??) Still don't like paying DOUBLE the price for headphones ($45 vs $80-$100) but here we are... IMO they should be $65 tops for NEW, not even refurb/openbox.

Some say the q45 and the XM5 are what and what. The Sony's are not in a different league, especially in sound quality. Soundcore might be better

I would encourage you to test the battery life again in the future. El Jefe got 42 hours with AAC and ANC on. And 39 hours with LDAC and ANC on at 75 % volume.

Q45 - for all its premium build/ sound, looks a bit like "Princess Leia's buns". Hence got the awesome blue color SpaceOne's instead.. no regrets ! Wear sensor feels like a no brainer to have on all headphones.

i must say q45 looks a bit rough on the head. but the sound quality is good. if you're not obsessed with sound quality like me, I would say get the space one. they look awesome i think. btw case isn't important. I have never use it.
same here totally not obsesed with the sound quality , but mainly comfort is the most important for me , also the easy chat function is quite important for me , as they said about the caring case and hollowness when you tap on them ... well it's totally not a disadvantages for me
Just bought a Space One from the local Anker store. I tested the Space One and Q45, and the Q45 sounded leagues better, but I had to check latency online, and it said that the Q45 had god-awful latency for games, while the Space One had tolerable latency. I plan on using these for RPGs, and then I have a wired setup with an ATH-A900x for FPS games anyway, so I'm golden.

i think that if you need ANC and that invissible funtion and you are not an audio obssesed, you go for the space1, if you are more audio obssesed and you just need an acceptable ANC, you go for the q45.
Space1: Confortable and useful
Q45: Superior and versatile audio
Finally, a review with comparisons of both. All the other reviewers not once mentioned the Q45
Bought both for my two kids, price was very close. I’ll let them fight over it. It does seem Soundcore gave Space One some extra bits the Q45 lacks, and battery life on the One I hope would get better!

Just wanted to mention one thing. I've heard nothing but good things about the sound quality of the Space Q45s. Now I'm a huge Soundcore fan and have bought many of their products and the 45s were the first purchase of theirs that I returned. I had a big issue with the sound. Overall it was fine but the mids(vocals especially) sounded like they were being sung into a tunnel. That's the best l can describe it, and it was so annoying that l sent them back. I wonder if I got a faulty set because no one else mentions this? I couldn't eq it out either. I have the Q30s and love them so l had something to compare them to. Curious if anyone else has experienced this with them also?

I just picked up Space 1 to replace the Q30. It is a sound upgrade. Midrange is touch clearer, but the bass is definitely cleaner. Highly recommend space 1.

The Space-1 has a new feature the cups on you're ears rotate like Spinfit eartips do. That might be causing the problems with the ANC and the whistling noise. Maybe. Thanks for the review. 💯👍🇺🇸
Thanks for a great comparison! One thing I'd like to see from you guys is use case comparisons; Sleeping on mass transit, Zoom calls in a domestic environment (kids, cooking sounds, etc), office breakroom and so on. I bought the Soundcore Ones for price reasons (I had enough Amazon credit from birthday gift cards), mostly to have a decent pair of ANC cans for flying.

Awesome video as always! I just got the Space Q45 for 99 euros, the same price as the Space One. I would have gone for the One because I tried both of them in person multiple times and the One felt more comfortable while wearing, and especially lighter... but the mic quality difference between them was a deal breaker for me.

I like the headphones that don't have an absurd price but these are just huge compared to the competitors.
if you dont have the money for the Q45s but you have enough for the space ones, just wait for the Q45s to go on sale

honestly, I felt the q45 sound was more full, and overall balanced.
The space ones audio in the clips to me, sounded flat and a bit washed out.
lacked depth.
But everyones ears are different. I currently use the q30s, been great headphones.
I'll probably go with the q45s. The much superior battery life, higher comfort, better mic, and overall sound signature I like allot.

What about white noise with ANC set to max? I have Q45 and it's horrible when I don't listen to music. Also Q45 ANC is really bad at cancelling fan noise. Do you still have them? Could you please test this?

Strangely enough, I returned my Q45 exactly because of the whooshing sound when walking or even going over bumps with a vehicle.
This was literal whistling sound, not whooshing.

How was your comparison between Q45 and space one? Which one sounds better? By only concern is sound quality. Otherwise space one indeed has better features
@ZafarIqbal-sn8vp These headphones sound quite similar to each other, and one doesn't sound better than the other. To my ears, One Space One has a slightly deeper bass on certain EDM extended play tracks. The Space Q45 has a "brighter" tone on those same tracks. However, with other genres of music such as Classical and Sondtrack, they are virtually identical.
The Space One has a more pronounced sound leak at higher volumes, and the Q45's earpads, while smaller, seem to isolate sound better if ANC is turned off. In terms of durability, the Q45s feel less fragile. I have not had any problems with the Space Ones, but I worry that hinges might break. So, I baby them and don't fold them too often.
Honestly, they are about even, and if you have to pick one over the other, it comes down to durability vs. budget price, in my opinion.

The Q45 was quite heavy for me I feel it on my neck ...and the earcup is a bit bogus too...the space one would likely be more comfortable

Сегодня купил q45, пока все понравилось, space one тестировал, но не впечатлили по эргономике, аккумулятору. Звучание оценить было трудно объективно, но в целом ок. В этом ценовом диапазоне сравнивал с jbl разными моделями - не нравятся своим бум-бум или эргономикой, или материалами.
Не ведитесь на диаметры, двойное то, тройное это - это все гадкие маркетологи. Нужно слушать и понимать, для чего покупаете и что важно. Если все важно - то нужно выложить 300+ евро. Все, что дешевле 250 - компромиссы. Не нужно себя обманывать.
Если сравнивать space one vs q45, то это не совсем корректно, ведь последние стоят на 50% дороже первых. Если цена для вас ок - берите q45, тут все логично, все чуть лучше. Звучание оценить было сложно в магазине, долго переподключать приходилось, лучше бы в специализированных магазинах это делать: удобней и сразу можно одеть и послушать тот же трек на разных моделях. Эргономика очень важна и она во вторых лучше. Кейс - приятный и важный бонус, лучше аккумулятор, материалы. Если вопрос в бюджете - то нет смысла сравнивать. В ценовой категории первых есть jbl, sony и другие для сравнения.
What about compared to the anker Life Q35?
Space One seems like some experimental features run amok with a run at cheaper build cost but not a cheaper price, go figure. I'm about to upgrade from q20, so I figure it's worth it rather than do a battery replacement (q20s are half life on battery and some weird paring issues such as connect but NO for laptop I think are battery related which did not happen when new--er...??) Still don't like paying DOUBLE the price for headphones ($45 vs $80-$100) but here we are... IMO they should be $65 tops for NEW, not even refurb/openbox.
