I always find it odd when normal tech reviewers make a big deal about driver specs. If you get into different driver _types,_ then you can maybe see things that certain drivers might be better at, or that are easier to achieve on different driver types. For example, it can be easier to get good dynamic range out of a dynamic driver, but it can be easier to get more punch out of a planar-magnetic driver. But within a single driver type, the size and material almost always literally do not matter. Unless a company is doing something weird, like on the Meze Empyrean, it's the least important part of the spec sheet. And it especially doesn't matter with Bluetooth ANC headphones, because AFAIK those normally come with some sort of onboard EQ anyway. The batteries, microphones, and circuit boards aren't exactly good for acoustics, so they fix the tuning with DSP.
The q35 is my third Anker device. I'm extremely satisfied with all of them. Yes, the headphones require adjustment in the equalizer, but only once after purchase. I also gave my mom a speaker from Anker and it's very cool too, even though I'm not a fan of this format of devices.

I have Q30. It was a physical button for AND/Ambient/Normal, and optional the touch control. Did the Q35 remove the mode button? I think not...? EDIT: you corrected your error later in video.
Problem with Q35 is its design. They strech out so wide while Q45 look nice low key since they stick closer to the ear. How does the bass compare from the Q35 to Q45s? Some articles are saying that the Q45s have a little less bass than the Q35s in favor for a more natural sound id
True
I’m absolutely the latter hahaha but I do enjoy your videos a lot! Great job✨
Brandon buddy
No d lol
Remember fellas: Bass can be tuned through the app.
Hey , i am thinking of getting the q20 , the 30 and 35 are priced more than the regular prices in other countries and the 30 and 35 both are priced the same.
I wanted to know if the q20 is better than the JBL live 650btnc and the tune 760nc. Please reply and help me out. I am genuinely so confused that i feel like ditching the plan and stop running my head around so much
I have Q30. It was a physical button for AND/Ambient/Normal, and optional the touch control. Did the Q35 remove the mode button? I think not...? EDIT: you corrected your error later in video.
Yes I did catch myself...
Lol was a ton of work putting all 3 videos together...I called the mics speakers on the ear cups too....😳
@@BrannonNod Yes but that was an obvious error no need to correct that one.
Please recommend Soundcore SPACE Q45 vs Edifier W820bt
I don’t wanna sound dumb or anything but I actually don’t know, how can I get the coupon for the 45’s?
But anyway I love your reviews for real
That bottle of water made it for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha...
My High Quality H2o Kroger brand 🤪
Hi sir can i still use the couponcode? I am from the Netherlands
Would either of these be good for working out?
Problem with Q35 is its design. They strech out so wide while Q45 look nice low key since they stick closer to the ear.
But I read a lot that the Q35 have much better bass while not so great with Q45.
So confused which one to pick up. I love Q45's low key design but the lack of thumpy bass which I'm not sure if it can come closer to Q35s makes me so confused.
Did you make a choice either way how is the anc is it so powerful you have to take off your headphones to know people are talking to you (without any sounds on)
@@Messup7654 the anc on the q35 is decent don’t expect AirPod pro or Sony nc and it has a little white noise but the sound quality makes up for it
@@askireeholback9507 so the q45 and just be better I’ve heard people say it’s close to the airpod maxes. My pro 2s don’t strong enough anc that’s why I’m getting over the ear headphoned
@@askireeholback9507Now, i am in a same situation can't decide which one to get, soundcore q45 or sony 720, what is you opinion or what you have tried
I’ve the 30’s are the changes worth the upgrade 🤔
Hi Brannon! Is there a difference in terms of range between the 2 models?
I like Soundcore but I’m a little annoyed. I just bought the Q45 and now the Soundcore space one just came out. Is that worth getting?
0:32... where did the 3.5mm cable come from???
Do you recommend the q45 for working out?
THanks, No D~
Can the Jack be used without battery power on either one thanks
What's the sound leakage like for the two headsets?
Soundcore does not miss 🫡
In terms of music details, which one is better? And can I obtain the same punchy basses with eq compared with q35? Also with mids? Thanks in advance
What's the best budget half ear buds? I thought I'd do the switch from in ears
Hey man, I like the video and everything and I did see the 20% discount on the q35 but didn't see it on the q45 on Amazon nor their website. Am I missing something?
You have to use the code down in my description 👍
Polishes head, wonders why headphones slide off.
Just joshing bro, don't get whoopsie.
Brannon anyway the fact of pausing music when take off they headphones ando some other features can be added with a soft update, it's very probably right??? If it's that today they did not.
Only if the Q45's has the needed sensors.
I’m planning on getting one for the first time.. from what i understand the q35 is better than the 45 in many things. What do u think?
so ıts 2023 october, and where I live q45 is 40% more expensive than q35. I really dont care about the 10 hour difference and the ANC quality of the q35 is more than enough for me. would you still recommend the q35 or should I save up for q45 or space one?
I just upgraded fron Q30 to Q45, Don't see enough difference to shell out 40% more even from 30 to 45 let alone Q35 to Q45. I would suggest save 40%
What is this "gaming mode" you mentioned about the Q35?
It's in the app used for low latency responses for gaming and/or watching movies
@@BrannonNod Which section of the app is that setting found? I have been digging around the app and unable to find it. I also just re-watched your Q35 review from last year. You did not mention gaming mode in that video. Is that something that was more recently added?
@@AmericanRoads I'm so sorry I miss understood I confused the A40 with the Q35 that have a actual gaming mode toggle..
Your correct the Q35 and the Q45 do not support this.
@@BrannonNod Thank you for the clarification. It makes sense, I guess. If I want to eliminate any lags, I will just use the Q35 with the 3.5 mm audio cable.
One more question. The Q35 audio cable has a built-in mic. Does the Q45 audio cable have a mic?
These or a deal on the Sony xm4’s?
How are they while gaming
Are they sweat resistant ?
Can the q35 tap function be disabled
What do you mean by no game mode?
I just bot q30 for usd 38 .anger is making mistake for renewing so quickly those headphones
Which one do you recommend for a gym workout?
It’s hard for me to recommend headphones as a gym style workout only because they tend to fall off your head but most of them will be good as far as sound in a gym
@@BrannonNod Ahhh, tks man. ❤️👍
@@_Anonymous_43_the Q20s are really flexible and smaller so they’re probably the best soundcore headphonesfor the gym. I personally recommend the Soundcore SportX10. They’re wireless earbuds that are waterproof and always stay on. Really light and comfortable with small case. The noise canceling isn’t super good
does q45 have quick attention feature using palm to hold the sound?
No sry I wish it did...
I have that feature on my Treblab Z7 👍
Verygood
folks that own the Q35, how the gaming perfomace (wired and bluetooth) ?
Near Zero lag on PC but noticeable lag on mobile for Bluetooth connections. When gaming on mobile I use the aux cable
This better or skullcandy hesh anc
I just got my life q20s
Huh?
@@BrannonNod lol it's a headphone, why the shock? 😂
I LITERALLY JUST BOUGHT THE Q35 WTF
Is this better than jbl n Sony..??
Not necessarily...
Of course on price yes...
But I haven't got the opportunity to test out the bigger brands😉
Sooo that "music test" was pointless.
Does the Q45 have the smart wearing detection (where the music turns of when you remove them) like the Q35s?
He said it 18:46, it doesn't. That is a disappointment.
@@lHurtYourFeeIings Ah thanks I must have missed that when I watched. I'm trying to decided if I should buy thr Q35s or Q45s
@@megann4908 I would definitely go for the Space Q45
Have you made up your mind? I have struggled for weeks!
dual diaphram drivers man, thats the main diff, you didnt even mention thst .....the 45s should def sound better...
I don’t care what people say, Brannon is the future of reviewers 😮💨
I'll choose soundcore over all other devices any day. Thank you so much for keeps us updated. Q35 got my heart beat always
Did u try both ?
@@keithtwizzy2700 I did, Q45 sucks.. Was hoping the sound would be more balanced like Bose compared too thumping Q35, but just lacking low end and excitement period. Go with Q35
@@themodularmodularinteresting take . Was planning to upgrade my q35 to q45
Now, i am in a same situation can't decide which one to get, soundcore q45 or sony 720, what is you opinion or what you have tried@@themodularmodular
They might have taken the auto wear detect away because it was glitching so much on the q35. I had to turn the feature off because it was randomly pausing my music. I haven’t tried the 45s and it sounds like it’s not worth the upgrade, with soundcore, they pump out so much every year, it’s probably best to way 2 or 3 versions before upgrading.
which do u suggest for someone who deciding to buy which one? q35 or q45?
@@luqqy8 if you're into heavy bass, Q35 or even Q30 is still amazing. Q45 lacks bass, like a lot.
@@drillasbarbies thank you for replying however, i already bought q45, i am satisfied with q45!
@@drillasbarbies You can compensate for that with the equaliser, my Q45 put out a pounding bass I wouldn't want anymore.
Did you experience a audio imbalance with your q35's? Watching a different video and apparently its a issue among a fair amount of users. And which is better for smaller sized heads, I don't know whether to try and get the q35's or the q45's with my Christmas money.
