Thats Why I ordered and waiting for my D-Mover 6 DOF. They are working on the what I call 6DOF+ look at their new setup on their page. 😂 I will make a video of my doing a mission when I get it. I have VR play back on my page now.
VR takes tine to get used to. Lots of hard core VR Simmers have had to get used to VR over a period of time! Your brain will get used to it , but you need to train it getting a little more time each day in the sim. VR is the way to go for Helicopter simming! It just takes time to get used to it!
I saw max flight anti torque pedals ar 3:20. I have a set in my H145 cockpit. My motion on my channel is a simple RS Mega Kit. In a VR application it takes barely any movement to trick the brain.
I have a non motion helicopter r44 from apache Simulators and run VR. It took a few sessions to get my VR legs and not feel sick. MultiShopMatt is my other channel and i streamed some there of the play.
Love how your puppy was able to demonstrate the 6DF. What software are they using for the helicopter sim? Were you able to get it to be finger controlled like you showed for the R44?
😂😂thanks! Jax was a good sport for sure 🐶. They are using MSFS 20 right now and will upgrade to the ‘24 version this year. And yes, the 6DOF Spyder model has an H125 stick that felt frictionless. He said they can actually do the full Robinson R44 controls but I prefer the H125 bc it makes more sense for other types of games for me. These things are super dope tho!
Building out my Qubic 6DOF simulator as we speak. Way cheaper than these options and I have 270 degree curved projection. Flight sim only. All in with projectors, flight sim hardware and motion sim I’m at $40k.
That sucks you get the VR vomits. Would love to have a 6 degree set up, as that would be as close as I would get to the real thing. Great video, 1 new subscriber here.
I have a 4090 system....I also have triple 43 oled diplayport gsync monitors....150mm stroke actuators....traction loss..belt tensioner...surge actuator...yokes, throttles, rudder pedals, cyclic, active pedals, ddu...all the things......Im not sure where this company gets these prices...

MSFS is not good for helicopter simulation. Simulators like X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12 are where simulation helicopters really thrive and give you something you can take away to the real world. Much more accurate flight model and systems.
No simulator accurately replicate flying in the real world. Spent many hours if various simulators, UH-1, UH-60. UH-64, CH-53, and none of them are totally realistic. The worst simulation was landing to a pinnacle/peak, e.g. Red Top in Korea where both the nose and the tail boom hang out over space and to go from port to starboard you have to go through the helicopter.
Pay 15000€ for a 6DOF with 750mm actuator travel. Simple, no need for these showcased heavily overpriced motion rigs without even cyclic stick and collective to "sim" a helicopter.
Hey dude excellent video here I love the guys from Podium One as well as Steve - EXTREMELY knowledgeable individuals there. Sub'd dude!

if youre having problems with a VR and kind of certain you wont use it then I recommend a Tobii5 for your headtracking.
If Only I had money I would love one of these Racing/Flying Sim
This is the coolest shit I've ever seen..... WOW!

lmao roman atwood is the reason I just got a sim two days ago and the reason I want a helicopter now
now I need to win the lottery and im good.

how much did you pay

you need to build tolerance to vr if you have issues.. he wasted a ton of money for no reason. 2d sucks once your good. he gave up early.
Sick video. Good content 🔥🔥

45000$ can't buy you pedals that match?
Podium 1 can't hold a candle to Qubic Systems. Podium 1 is so overpriced for basic off the shelf parts with a paint job.
