I think it’s a beautiful story of a remarkable woman. Her country was blessed to have her for so long, and in right mind. She seemed to be in good health and good spirits up until almost the very end. And to end a such an interesting life, in peace is all anyone could ask for. Also, let’s face it, she was lucky to be a queen in this era, rather than have been a queen decades ago. Strangely, I’m from the US and felt a warmth from her just by watching her on a screen. She must have been something wonderful in person. My son who is 13 called me “queen” sometimes because he says I act so “old”. Yes, I always shot him a stern look, reminding him how disrespectful that was. He would just chuckle and walk off. When he heard she passed away, his eyes watered up before he excused himself. I was a little taken back honestly. I had no idea the Queen was able to make such an impression on my son… My prayers and wishes that the Queen and all those who’ve left us, find peace and happiness on the other side 💜

I met The Queen back in 2010 and I was honestly nervous, but I found her very easy to talk to. Prince Philip was there as well as it was a royal tour of Canada and it's a moment I will never forget.

I want to send my deepest condolences to all the ppl Of the Uk🥲. I’m fr the states, In New England. I really don’t have that deep connection that the ppl of the UK do, but my heart is hurting. Its just Broking my heart to hear this news, I’m so sad, i know she was 96 but it still did shock me terribly. I recall when her beloved husband passed, i had thought, she may pass within the 1-2 yrs. Only bc throughout my university years, I worked with the older, senior population, and whenever a couple lost one, generally the person who experienced the greatest loss, losing their other side, their soulmate, would leave them so devastated, they literally lose a huge part of themselves, and it usually isn’t too long after losing their best friend, that they themselves will soon pass on, perhaps the broken heart is just too much, like losing a huge part of your soul… this is when i so hope that there is something after death …Waiting and in that waiting, soulmates will find each other again, just as they did on earth. That’s what i hope for the Queen. I hope she finds her love and is surrounded by love…. No more pain, Just happiness that she so deserves ♥️♥️
