      Anishajs I use the little eyelid shapers to even up my eyes, do you know the ones that I mean? The ones that East Asian women wear to give you an eyelid? I use one on the droopy lid and it works!

    • @1a141036
      @1a141036 4 года назад +1

      Claredy J but doesn’t work with eyeshadow tho. 😔 shadow won’t stick on top of the tape and the tape won’t stick on a lid with eyeshadow. It works if you’re just doing liner and mascara!

    • @claredyj2015
      @claredyj2015 4 года назад +3

      1a141036 put the little shaper on a dry eyelid, make sure its dry! Then tap very lightly a little bit of foundation on top and let dry. Then put ur eye shadow on top but pat it on very lightly on top, no swiping on, very light pats! Build up how much you need (i use powder, not cream). This works for me, just remember light patting! Hope this helps xx

    Thanks again Wayne!! I was always told that I couldn't wear blues and greens in eyeshadow because I have blue eyes, but there are so many different shades that I CAN and DO wear now because I've found colors that work. Not that there's anything wrong with neutrals, but I was so tired of always having to wear them to fit my eye color, and was a bit bored with my makeup, and was under the impression that I couldn't wear color because it wasn't flattering. Now I know that makeup is supposed to be FUN and who cares what colors you wear, and that's brought me enormous freedom and sparked a ton of creativity in makeup! I love this technique, and will definitely be trying it!

      I have purple like streaks through my kids and a prominent red lower lash line. I use a white eye primer to even the field. No matter what look. If it's simple, I put my foundation powder over the primer, liner, mascara, done. A more drastic look with actual shadows turns out amazing since it's being put on a white base. Maybe even a tiny drop of a color corrector would help🤷.. I just use white though🤣.. I'm also pretty brown. Like, not dark, but I wouldn't call my skin tone medium.🤣

      I have the same as you and I’ve adapted the following:
      - never take my eyeliner right into the corner because I’m emphasizing the “droop”
      - I’ve done similar to Wayne here but I’ve never been a big fan of using the tissue to wing it out
      - if Some of the fall out goes outside toward the area of the droop, I use the foundation brush and any leftover product on it to remove it
