You (or me, for that matter) not liking Lesnar is meaningless. He's still by far the biggest draw WWE has, and the live crowd was hot as hell for that match. I'd say he's literally the only WWE guy who still has any real sense of mystique and shock/awe factor. I can't stand Lesnar's status as a part-time megastar either, but he's a legit terrifying looking human being, and he gets reactions like no one else.
I'm not gonna sit here and pretend any Lesnar match is a masterpiece...but at the same time, I feel like people are coming at his matches the wrong way. Ever since Suplex City became a thing, you kinda know what to expect from a Lesnar match. But, that's what it's SUPPOSED TO be. His whole thing is that he's a....well, he's a beast...that just tosses you around like a ragdoll, like a predator playing with its food. And his matches being short and similar have a purpose to: it's to put him over as this beat that cannot be stopped; you know what he's gonna do, but, you're powerless to do anything about it (Except hit him in the junk, apparently). Because of how he's booked, every Lesnar match is basically "Can he overcome the odds and slay the Beast?!", whereas most other matches aren't. I feel like I'm the only one fully paying attention to the story being told, here. And I feel like people are far too caught up in the "how many moves he has" argument. I personally feel like that's stupid. Knowing a bunch of moves doesn't make you good. And not doing a bunch of moves doesn't mean you can't do more. If you had a couple moves that are practically guaranteed to get you the win, would you not use those as much as you can? I'm not telling you to like, or even watch, every Lesnar match, but what I am saying is that you can't go into it expecting like an Adam Cole match, for example. It's just not gonna be that kind of match, and it's not trying to be.
Corbin has improve A LOT being a heel, he's just a good heel, a genuine heel, making me cheer when he got what he deserve, me having a reaction to that, he just make it as a heel
I dont know why but I really really like Kyle OReilly. Hate to jump on the bandwagon but Rhea is that damn good. By the time she's done she'll be a bigger draw than Becky. Keith Lee is a future world champ if Vince can die before he turns him into an absolute moon pie chasing Truth around for the 24/7 title and jobbing to Ricochet. Fingers crossed. Rey and Brock got me to legit mark out for the first time in years. PERFECTLY booked match. Adam Cole is best in the world right now. Punk will get his mania main event, with Seth. Dont doubt any man's love of money. Also, Epstein didn't kill himself.

I used to hate Kyle, but the triple threat ladder match at Takeover 25 changed my mind....he took an insane amount of punishment. The dude is damn tough and works the MMA gimmick very good.
Besides Rhea I also think that Io will also be a huge star, if Vince doesn't screw her over like he did Asuka and Kairi. That moonsault off the top of the cage was insane!
I completely agree with the Spanish Fly point. In an athletic competition like the Cruiserweights are presented as being, something looking "Ok you go there and you go there and I go here so we can do this cool thing" hurts the match a lot, whereas comedy wrestling just feels like a Stand-Up show decided to get a little physical.
FINALLY someone who mentions it! I didn't like WALTER's booking either but when i read people talking about it online (especially on Cagematch), it almost seems like he got the same treatment as Daniel Bryan at WM28.
Adam Vanderpluym You’re rounding wrong then since it’s been less that 9.5 years since the Nexus angle started. It’s even been less since they were buried. At least you tried. 👍🏻
I have to agree with you Brian, the NXT Women's division is the strongest in America right now, especially when you look at the divisions from other promotions. ROH doesn't have that many women, the only one I can think of is Kelly Klein, and she's not having her contract renewed. The only person I can think of in Impact, is Tessa and the AEW women's roster isn't anywhere near as strong,I mean you have Rhio and Doctor Britt Baker. I am not taking sides, just stating a fact.
I don’t get the count out of Braun. Seth, Roman, Tomasso and Keith stand outside dicking with commentary desks for 3 minutes straight but the count out doesn’t exist anymore. Either it is enforced or not but to contradict themselves within the same match is just lazy.
They just needed Strowman eliminated without pinning him. Just have everyone from RAW and NXT hit a move on him then pin him, that'd make him look stronger than just a count-out.

There is a precedent Brian. Survivor Series 2004, Maven was injured backstage by Gene Snitsky, but later on during the match between team Evolution and team Orton, came out selling his injuries and was still legal. (Not exactly the same, but injured =/= eliminated)
I’m usually not this kind of guy, but Mauro Renallo is way too soft for the wrestling business. It’s a shame because he’s probably the best announcer in all of wrestling. But yeah, he’s gotta thicken up that skin some.
I can't be the only one that can't stand Graves. He rips off EVERY heel announcer that ever lived he is unoriginal and extremely annoying how does he have a job
How does every bland face commentator have a job? At least Graves is a heel commentator. Taking his twitter stuff out, are you really that mad about it?
That's a really dumb criticism. Shame on a heel commentator for acting like a heel commentator. That's like hating a heel wrestler for badmouthing the town he's in.
Seeing this live in Rosemont was an amazing time. Overall, the show was pretty dang good. Minus the main event. The triple threat women’s match shouldn’t had been on last. There was a “this is awful” chant that wasn’t audible on the live feed. I didn’t hate the match, but It wasn’t main event quality compared to the men’s triple threat tag or the WWE Championship match prior.
Looking back and being the person in my group that brings up the random stuff, I must say I love how all 8 of the men from last years war games match worked Survivor Series this year with 6 of them men being involved in matches that included an opponent from war games.
NXT Takeover: Wargames I give it a 9 out of a 10 Survivor Series i would probably give it a 7 out of 10 Also happy that NXT (the best brand in the WWE) won Survivor Series Raw: 1 NXT: 4 Smackdown: 2
My issue with the Women's SS match was that the women on the third team would break up a pin involving the other team which, why? if anything shouldn't you be helping them so there's less competition later
I had the same problem. Like Sasha breaks up a pinfall halfway through and then she helps Natalya get Storm out not even 10 minutes later. Made her look kinda dumb at first.
I mean, it's definitely more noticeable in Survivor Series matches, but they do the same dumb thing in Royal Rumbles ALL the time: People are always hitting others when they're trying to push someone over the top rope instead of helping them... But at least with Survivor Series the commentators could've kayfabe made up for it by explaining that the wrestlers were thrown off and acting on instinct due to this being the first time they do triple-threat SS matches.
It's funny because in commentary graves mentions how she's overlooked etc... & then both says how is she overlooked she's had so many title shots which ok she's had a feud but nowhere near as much as others but also this proves Bayley is RT through out the whole invasion she was made to look the weakest. One can say she is but that's only because she's booked that way.

A nice touch in the Lesnar match. He stomped on Mysterio while the board from the Spanish Announce Table was on top of him. I don't think he's done the spot since, his match with CM Punk at SummerSlam (2013). And Punk is from Chicago. A good subtle spot there.
Not gonna lie, this women's "revolution" is fizzling out quite a bit at this point... Fans gonna turn on Becky soon just like Rollins. NXT women are killing it though, for sure!
I wish instead of three championship matches within the three brands, I would've love to see a triple threat match between Brock Lesnar, The Fiend, and Adam Cole. They each retained their titles so it'll been cool to see who would've won the triple threat match.

Stopped watching when WALTER got pinned. They make the UK scene look like shite. Where was Bate or Severn or Devlin or Wolfe. They need to throw more respect on the UK scene and defiantly show more respect to the UK Championship and the UK Champion
I hate that people dont have enough self awareness to see when their obvious bias is making them sound silly. NXT UK is a lesser known subdivision of NXT...and its existence is probably the only reason Toni Storm and Imperium were on the show at all. And WALTER was arguably the least well-known guy on the team, and he got eliminated by one of the most protected finishers in the match. I kinda feel like you're overreacting.
Yeah I thought so too in that main event, there was low chemistry 🧪 I could just tell half the match was filled with spots they could imagine doing but never really got going & I thought for sure Rey Mysterio had just won the title, it almost felt like mid 2000’s SmackDown again for minute
Yo Zane, I was eagerly awaiting 4 the Empress 2 return. She was never counted out, when Shari & Larae returned. It was totally there 2 let the Empress of 2mor 2 do the damn thing.
I hated: The red light. The lack of offense from Bray Wyatt, it seems like too little took out Bryan. Specially considering he didn't even get Sister Abigail'd. Roman Reigns winning after doing little to nothing for the entirety of the match. The main event in its entirety. Rey showing up in Doink outfit and losing in a rather sad way. Loved everything else, though.
@@somebodyandthem back in the day my friend's dad owned a video store as a side business and I remember trying the Virtual Boy... man it was terrible lol
All Graves said was that there was a HOFer and a former ROH Champion and that it would be nice to hear some input from them. Then he just said Mauro made too many Chicago Rap references. How the hell does that cause someone to delete their Twitter account? Personally, I think millions of people bitching about him mentioning Britt Baker BY NAME and ON AIR at NXT WarGames, which (if AEW is petty enough) could cause her to lose her push, be fined, or even be fired! I think that would affect him more than what Graves said, which I don't think is even SLIGHTLY bad.
Was there some reason for Walter going so fast? I mean, WWE does some dumb things but that seems dumb even for them. Was he hurt or not wanting to do the match?
Takeover and Survivor Series were awesome. So much entertainment. Rhea Ripley is my new favorite female wrestler. Candace Larae showed so much heart taking a beating in Wargames. Adam Cole is the hardest working man in WWE right now, he deserves a day off he is so beat up. I know NXT got pushed too hard but it's ok for me. Rey and Brock was awesome when Dominick came out with the double 619 and frog splash. Sharai Moonsault off the top of the cage was a highlight of the weekend.
The women's main event could have easily won over that crowd if they picked up the pace. It was so damn slow! And when the pace was picking up the match ended. And I blame Shayna and of course the lack of chemistry these 3 had. I know Shayna's style is slow but she's gotten even slower in the past year. People like to blame Mia Yim for it that terrible Takeover match but Shayna was it in too and now she was in this terrible main event of a major PPV. Shayna is the common denominator in both matches. I use to like her but she's getting slow. *War Games was different, she was one of 6 women in the ring. She even stayed in the same ring for that match lol. She didn't move much at all; everyone else did it for her.
I'm kinda hoping that the thing with Shayna, Becky and Bailey goes on. Ronda Rousey is supposed to come back any day now and surely Charlotte will also want a piece of her. Hopefully there's a 4 Horsewomen VS 4 Horsewomen match at some point. Fastlane or Payback would be the best choices, right before Wrestlemania or right after Wrestlemania. Give them some time to prepare it, have all members of each group face each other in singles matches and tag team matches on house shows and a few times on TV for three or four weeks and it will be a classic.
@@vintage_85 I think with more time to prepare it could be really good. Also, Bailey, Sasha, Charlotte and Becky all have great chemistry with Ronda and in a tag team match the flaws can be more easily hidden, especially if there are 4 people on each side.
I'm gonna give you a rare comment of agreement. Yeah NXT's woman's division is honestly the most fun to watch. Shayna is slowly becoming my favorite as well as Io. And I've always loved Candice. They only have like 2 week stars
Is that really rare tho? I mean I personally feel like there are very few standouts in women's wrestling that aren't signed to WWE. I'm aware that could be my own ignorance, but I just haven't seen it. NXT is easily the best women's division, IMO
If not for the final two matches of this show I would have absolutely loved this show. The Lesnar Mysterio match reminded me exactly why I despise Lesnar and the fact that that slow and boring match was followed by the slow and boring triple threat. Those two matches back to back as the end of this otherwise fun and exciting show completely killed the crowd. The sections where I was sitting went from having a great time to actively turning on the show as soon as we realized Lesnar didn’t want to attempt to work a match with Rey
Man, couldn't care less about Corey Graves! And Mauro shouldn't care, either! Corey's opinions have never been important. Just like his contributions to the wrestling business! Sad level of style & class...! By the way : The double 619 of Rey and son was pretty cool! And well sold by Brock.
I don’t understand how someone can go from having a big match at wrestlemania to the pre show at a PPV roughly 6 months later. Yet we’ve seen it many times before. You get a guy on a pre show and a year later he’s headlining something like wrestlemania. Or vice versa. What I don’t get is there’s no slow decline or slow climb to the top. It’s like you’re either at the top or bottom and then bang your position changes!!!
It's really not that complicated. It just depends on the narrative direction they want to go. Kofi was never *really* a main eventer, but he served his purpose for the time. If New Day weren't over, he probably wouldn't have been on the show at all.
Why in the fuck does WWE keep on protecting Becky? Bayley does NOT fucking deserve to take the brunt of the triple threat, and Becky getting her shit in AFTER the match is just 50/50 booking bullshit
I don't want to say the main event was bad but it was reeeeaaaally boring. I was there live and the crowd was completely drained. Especially after the men's Survivor Series match. But this main event didn't do anything exciting to wake the crowd up. The post match beatdown was nice but it was too late. Also, the post match beatdown was unnecessary because that, it made Shayna look like a chump. It was just another way to make Becky stand tall and look like a badass. She didn't even eat the submission so it wouldn't hurt her so no need for the badass showcase. One of my favorite things about Survivor Series season is seeing Becky in the forefront invading Raw. I remember for SS 2017, seeing her push New Day aside so she can go in front to kick ass. Last year, seeing her lead team SmackDown and seeing that bloody, badass Becky standing tall was one of the best moments ever! This year, we got none of that. She got an invitation to NXT, along with the rest of the main roster, had a match with Rhea and that was it. No invasion, none of that. Apparently, she was too good for invasions and she didn't care about brand supremacy. As a huge Becky fan, I was very disappointed. She literally bled for her team! Unless she didn't want to attack SD because she has a soft spot for SD because team blue for life and all that jazz. That's why she didn't show up even when SD invited them. But that's giving creative too much credit. I thought the match would make up for it but that match is there, it happened. The entire thing was disappointing, honestly. The men's Survivor Series match was a lot of fun! Everyone was red hot for Walter! His elimination was bullshit. But at least it wasn't Rollins to take him out. Speaking of which, I'm bummed Zane didn't mention the hate Rollins was getting during this match. The chorus of boos, the "asshole" chants, the cheers when he was eliminated. The MVP was definitely Keith Lee. He looked like a star! He has a bright future ahead of him. Weak main event aside, I thought Survivor Series was great! Fantastic matches, made people into stars, NXT won but most importantly, Raw was in last place. I think it's the best WWE PPV of the year.
I knew Bayley was going to be the fall woman. They are not going to allow Shayna or Becky to lose a high profile match right now. Shayna wins and goes over, and Becky saves face by not being involved in the decision. This whole ppv has shown who WWE’s priority wrestlers are.
Sam I admittedly don’t pay too much attention to Twitter, but the highlights are saying he’s the best wrestler in the world then citing his bank account when Will Osprey responds, throwing Jon Moxley under the bus after he went to AEW, and insulting fans who disagree with him on Twitter.
Keith Lee just brought out all the feels in me during that match, it was so good. I thought the main event was disappointing, it looked really sloppy. Keith Lee is a future world champ if Vince can die before he turns him into an absolute moon pie chasing Truth around for the 24/7 title and jobbing to Ricochet. Fingers crossed.
In total agreement the women of NXT give me hope for women’s wrestling, War games was astounding the punishment these ladies took makes me proud.
I do feel it's worth mentioning that Walter does get to do the impossible and basically 1 man wreck strowman
FINALLY someone who mentions it! I didn't like WALTER's booking either but when i read people talking about it online (especially on Cagematch), it almost seems like he got the same treatment as Daniel Bryan at WM28.
He looked great until he looked terrible.
I noticed in the midcard triple threat that Strong barely made it to break up any pinfalls, selling his war games match
Drew eliminates Walter....getting that "what" vibe when Drew eliminated Joe last year.
That's twice Drew has had to disappointingly eliminate someone early.
The crowd weren't pleased, that's for sure. Definitely heard "bullsh*t" chants afterward.
So it must be true that Walter had an agreement that he was supposed to be NXT UK only.
Survivor Series 2019 was pretty good in my opinion. This might be the best WWE (non-NXT) event of the year so far.

Ogreman222 they should’ve have had someone jump him like cesaro
They just needed Strowman eliminated without pinning him. Just have everyone from RAW and NXT hit a move on him then pin him, that'd make him look stronger than just a count-out.

@Jeta Industries mauro's voice just makes everything he says sound completely phony. he sounds like someone trying to sell something. JR had that genuine southern boy delivery.
Congrats on making it into the Botchamania intro Z-man
There is a precedent Brian. Survivor Series 2004, Maven was injured backstage by Gene Snitsky, but later on during the match between team Evolution and team Orton, came out selling his injuries and was still legal. (Not exactly the same, but injured =/= eliminated)
Dunne vs. Cole was also my favorite match of the PPV with Keith Lee being my MVP of the PPV.
Maybe we should get Booker T to kick Corey’s ass. But in all seriousness, Corey Graves has to be better than that if that’s what happened.
Brian hits the nail on the head as always 👍
Seeing this live in Rosemont was an amazing time. Overall, the show was pretty dang good. Minus the main event. The triple threat women’s match shouldn’t had been on last. There was a “this is awful” chant that wasn’t audible on the live feed. I didn’t hate the match, but It wasn’t main event quality compared to the men’s triple threat tag or the WWE Championship match prior.
I also thought Becky coming on top at the end seemed like a compromise, but it still looked very heelish to me... Looked like bad sport

Looking back and being the person in my group that brings up the random stuff, I must say I love how all 8 of the men from last years war games match worked Survivor Series this year with 6 of them men being involved in matches that included an opponent from war games.
NXT Takeover: Wargames I give it a 9 out of a 10
Survivor Series i would probably give it a 7 out of 10
Also happy that NXT (the best brand in the WWE) won Survivor Series
Raw: 1
NXT: 4
Smackdown: 2
My issue with the Women's SS match was that the women on the third team would break up a pin involving the other team which, why? if anything shouldn't you be helping them so there's less competition later
I had the same problem. Like Sasha breaks up a pinfall halfway through and then she helps Natalya get Storm out not even 10 minutes later. Made her look kinda dumb at first.
I noticed that too. And there was inconsistent use of countouts for eliminations.
Made Bayley look more like a punk than Shayna. Shayna pinned Bayley, and Becky beat up Shayna. Bayley is the only person with a net negative there.
Paul Amey Bayley sucks
Bayley is the weakest of the 3 anyway.

Just nitpick you had Kalisto and Akira wrong shows on your graphics Kalisto is on SD
Why would u wanna see this continue after that horrible match last night i hope it's over and done with
@@vintage_85 I think with more time to prepare it could be really good. Also, Bailey, Sasha, Charlotte and Becky all have great chemistry with Ronda and in a tag team match the flaws can be more easily hidden, especially if there are 4 people on each side.

Yeah NXT's woman's division is honestly the most fun to watch. Shayna is slowly becoming my favorite as well as Io. And I've always loved Candice. They only have like 2 week stars

Asuka was never eliminated either
When did you switch from a 4 star to 5 star system?
If not for the final two matches of this show I would have absolutely loved this show. The Lesnar Mysterio match reminded me exactly why I despise Lesnar and the fact that that slow and boring match was followed by the slow and boring triple threat. Those two matches back to back as the end of this otherwise fun and exciting show completely killed the crowd. The sections where I was sitting went from having a great time to actively turning on the show as soon as we realized Lesnar didn’t want to attempt to work a match with Rey
I like how Braun got counted out, but then when Rollins and Reigns tried putting Ciampa through the table there was no ring count

Kofi was never *really* a main eventer, but he served his purpose for the time. If New Day weren't over, he probably wouldn't have been on the show at all.
Keith Lee should have won. The only reason he didn't is because Fox was in Vince's ear reminding him that they paid a billion dollars for Smackdown.

I thought Asuka was gonna run in and snap up the victory on her own.
Adam Cole is a stud, man. Dude has been pushed to the Moon these last few weeks.
The Best Thing in WWE Right Now is Bayley's Heel Turn
I knew Bayley was going to be the fall woman. They are not going to allow Shayna or Becky to lose a high profile match right now. Shayna wins and goes over, and Becky saves face by not being involved in the decision. This whole ppv has shown who WWE’s priority wrestlers are.
