8,000 miles on my 2019 300h, Great car!
Comfy, lots of room, EZ to live with, civilized and everything well thought out.
Real mileage: low to mid 30's around town, high 30's to low 40's EZ freeway driving. Worth it!
2017 ES 350 totaled after 30,000 miles, nice car, 2019 model a couple of notches better in ALL respects.
Quick off the line, no accelerator lag like I got with 2017 gas model.
Get one, you won't regret it!

I have the 2017. It's an outstanding car. It's hard to imagine making it better, yet Lexus clearly did. A masterpiece, and a super-smart choice for a family car.

I dont understand why reviewers tend to judge a vehicle with sportiness as the baseline. This is clearly not a vehicle for someone wanting a low 0-60 or canyon carver.

HP is 302, not 305 for the non-hybrid models. The hybrid gives 215 HP. The panoramic roof is available on the Ultra Luxury trim. The screen is 12.3 inches not 12.7. Also, you cannot turn on the A/C from the dash buttons. You only have temperature control. To turn on or off the A/C, you must do so using the screen.

This engine has a combination of both direct injection and port injection. Direct injection only leads to carbon build up on the intake valves.

I'll wait for a 4WD/AWD version before getting one. After looking at the high 73 tasand dalla LS version I'll prefer the ES/GS stay under 50 tasand dalla. All the same Lexus are better economically than the BMW and Benz because the maintenance is better and Lexus last longer than the other two. 45mpg is really good.

  • @Limitbreakur
    @Limitbreakur 5 лет назад +10

If the reviewer actually knew anything about the car he's "reviewing", he'd mention that the sport mode actually completely changes the behavior of the car, making it very sensitive and quick. The gas engine will tend to come on at the slightest amount of acceleration and it no longer uses the battery efficiently.

I would have "liked" the video if you didn't spend half the video explaining that it wasn't a sports car, while trying to justify how sporty it was. Buyers of this vehicle don't give two shits if its sporty or not. They care if it's comfortable and luxurious. Listen to yourself for a change and focus on what is important instead of telling me what I as a buyer don't give a shit about.

    • @bravogoldeagle8907

i'm a fan of lexus and toyota, i drive a hybrid, but honestly at 10:10, the lines of that armrest, it just looks like it is the camry - it looks like it doesn't fit.
i can understand lexus for making the camry interior look poor in manufacturing - they had to let the ES shine in comparison - for the premium they charge. But make sure it doesnt scream "poor craftmanship".

Okay what's up with cargo areas lately? They're so over-engineered. So many false floors, hidden cubbies, various hooks and those styrofoam fillers for the now-vacant spare tire wells! Of course if you put bags of groceries in there, they'll roll and clunk around until every bag is completely empty and half the items have rolled so far into the trunk that you have to climb in to get them. Pluss all those moving parts are flimsy cardboard garbage.
I have several bungee cords in my trunk, but of course the hook points are such an odd shape that the bungee hooks don't fit around them. Gotta be a better way.
That said, I really like the quality of your video production. Nice music, good sound level, seems to be moving along at a good pace. But I'm only 3 minutes in. Fingers crossed...

Double check your facts. The Avalon & Lexus ES share the same length, the Camry is shorter; mostly in the rear seat. The Lexus has more refined materials and interior (side and rear sunshades), it's quieter, with thicker glass and more sound dampening. I hope that helps.
