Cop Who Pepper-Sprayed Army Lieutenant in Traffic Stop Fired

- Officer Joe Gutierrez of the Windsor Police Department in Virginia, who held a Black and Latino army lieutenant at gunpoint, handcuffed him and doused him with pepper spray during a violent traffic stop last December has been fired, officials said. Bodycam video of the incident shows Lt. Caron Nazario attempting to deescalate the situation, which was apparently confusing to him, as he asked what was going on several times. He was released without being charged, and is now suing the town. #InsideEdition

He should have been scared the moment after he decided to stay. The officers were already committed to the detaining. Since he didn't get out, they had to go get him out which instantly makes it more dangerous for everybody.
Would you feel more safe listening to a cop while he's ten yards away that told you to exit the vehicle or would you feel more safe having the officer pull you out?

It's not enough to fire them. They need to be prosecuted and sued on their own money and property, not the PD or the city.
It’s a shame they treated a soldier like that. I hope the Lt got paid out for being treated like that!

Shout out to all the good cops out there tho who do there job right
They serve us as in the collective us. Not YOU. Obey commands and take the cop to court if they didn't tell you. It's really not that hard.
They asked him to get out , but the moment he reached for his seat buckle that officer would’ve claimed something else and shot him .
Have you heard of the case I can't remember it clearly but this young man had to drang himself to the cops and he said he needed to pull his pants up because it was falling and when he did they shot him. Not one shot, many shots
And they claimed they thought he had a gun but in the footage he clearly tries to pants up.
If u sensative don't watch it. 😔

He had a gun on him, bet you didn't know that 😄🤦♂️
He should have complied.
Shameful 😢
people don't understand, the door was locked and in order to unlock it, he had to reach his hand where the cops couldn't see, so really he couldn't get out of his cars unless he wanted to be a corpse.
Reminds me of the instructions given to Daniel Shaver
@@grzyruth9205 Was that the guy who was told not to reach behind his back and then like 5 seconds later did exactly that?
