I just installed this in my 2018 Honda Accord. I used a USB port in the center console so it's out of sight. Works every time way better than a cable connection. It connects in under 30 seconds. It does use more battery. I have a wireless charging pad so no problem. Thx for the great video.

Wonderful product, very important step that I missed, but after I corrected my mistake, this device is working perfectly. Instructions tell you to unpair phone from your car radio, this is very important. Now pair your phone to the device only, after you do this everything works perfect. Thank you very much for your video, like people say when all else fails follow the instructions.
this is by far the best wirless car play unit out there i tried .the connection is very fast no lag what so ever on my 2020 honda pilot .it was way easier then the other unit like carlinkit 3.0 and 4.0 and carplay and otto carplay.the sound quality is great and phone calls are high quality.this device was so easy to pair compaired to others mine litterally took 30 sec to pair with no problems.and short trips it connects right up compaired to carlinkit.out of the 4 months ive had this i have never had to reconnect or re pair it to phone unlike carlinkit and otto and wireless carplay.i very happy withthis unit
You just taught me the long-press on the dropdown menu option to quickly access the deeper menus as opposed to swiping down twice and tapping on the small "Bluetooth" text. Thank you for that! I cannot believe I wasn't aware of that as a shortcut.

call quality (is it worse, or the same as using cable)
does your buttons on the wheel still work? (skipping songs, volume etc)

Great Video! Wish I could buy one but the supply is so limited They sell out at Target almost instantly when they become available. Amazon Scalpers are selling this for DOUBLE the price or more! You basically can't get these things! I may have to bite the bullet and just buy the AAWireless (which is more or less the came thing but uses an app to set it up). Shame there are only 2 devices out there that do this. I wonder if anyone else has had trouble trying to find one at regular retail pricing? Good Luck finding one!

Does the gps location service on your phone needs to be turned on everytime to make that wireless connection? I know BT is needed to be turned on. Nice looking car by the way.

I got this for my wife who has a Nissan Rogue. She hates it's she says she now can't use the speech button on her steering wheel to initiate a call like Call Tim like she used to be able to do. Any idea if I am missing something in the setup configuration possibly?
I have a 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands and they still didn't add Sync 4 so I'm stuck plugging in the phone every time, plus finding a cable that actually works is almost impossible. I keep forgetting my phone in the car too, super annoying.

2018 civic. Head unit keeps saying connected device not responding 😢
How is the music quality? I noticed my audio quality is much better when connect via Wired android auto versus Bluetooth connected directly to the car.
I have not notice any bad music quality at all the music quality still sounds nice.

I could never get it to work on my 2020 Silverado Trail Boss and 2020 Blazer. Best I could do was get some audio to play but never any video on the screen. Motorola support was zero help.

Must be nice. I've bought two of these things and it absolutely will not connect to my phone. I've watched every video on RUclips and see it working for everyone, but neither of the ones I bought will work. And yes, I have the latest version of android on my S22 Ultra. So frustrating.

I want to use Google maps or Waze from my phone which is using Android auto. But while Android auto is on, how can I play just FM stations on the regular radio of my 2023 Toyota Camry while running Google maps?
I have a question, right now I have a CarsiFi and it works fine now that I finally got all the settings correct. Downfall is that when I turn off my vehicle, screen turns off but the dongle still powered on. If I'm on a call the radio turns off but the call is still connected to AA. I have to wait for the USB supplying power to the dongle to turn off. I'm assuming it has a time delay and it does not turn off when I turn off the vehicle.
Does the Motorola AA adapter turns off when the radio turns off?

Due to frugal Honda not adding wireless Android Auto to the 2022 Honda Civic Sport, I have to resort to this. If only they had any touring models in a 50+ mile radius, but instead I had to wait 2 months for the Sport with the pathetic radio. I can't do the wired Android Auto as I drive 90+ miles every day and the wired connection makes my phone overheat during the time it takes to drive that far which closes the apps such as Waze which is the only reason I use AA.

No all you need is the app on your smartphone. Plug you smartphone into your car USB Port and you should see the Android Auto Symbol On You You Infotainment Screen
