Snorkel truly does look badass. I was under the impression that snorkels are used for wading, thanks for not making me look like a dumbass in the future! Just watched those montages and 😍 half the video is gorgeous wallpapers
Thanks brother! Me too! My laptop got stolen yesterday, so I am hoping to get a new one soon and get some videos out; assuming all my new content backed up correctly 🤭
Congrats on another great video. Well done for continuously creating great content, great story telling, and for never slowing down. You deserve all the success you receive. You literally earn it every time you set up a tripod to film a cupboard opening, when you get out the car, drive back round, drive past to film your car then drive back again to fetch your camera, AND when you sift through hours of footage just so you can give us the good bits. Thanks for the continuous class and inspiration. My channel is tiny compared to yours but from a fellow RUclipsr, well blimmen done!
Hi , great stuff i enjoy watching it , give more detail on the trip , what is it called where does it start , are you in Lady Grey at the moment on the vid , thanks.
Wowww man... What a trip it's gonna be, Most well equipped car to handle the terrain, a good friend's company, What more would one ask for. Would be following you on your trip. Many happy miles...and a very happy birthday 🥳👍😁
Hey man loving the content. I have the same vehicle but i don’t have cruise control... did yours come with cruise control or did u have it fitted aftermarket?

Because it’s Auto, I don’t really know 😂 it just does what it needs too! But I am loving it 👍🏻 would advise going with the 2.8 if you want to build it out as much as mine, but the 2.4 is handling it well considering
Hey Danie; from Motus Toyota on Malibongwe. But it’s been a bit of a disappointment, the little grid on the ram head fell off and I have been struggling to get a replacement. I would get intouch with Terrain Tamer SA and get a Safari snorkel, if I had to do it again. Pop Marinus a mail on Marinus@donkyatt.com.au he’d be able to help you out
Roam Overlanding thanks for that. I see it’s a USA company. I don’t seem to find a direct SA outlet?? Any advice. Man they have great products!!!! I will keep searching
Snorkel! Good idea! (Don't know why but reminded me of a movie from the 90s where a guy drove his Porsche 928 into a river. Next scene, the mechanic comes out to speak to the driver, "Okay, so who's the U-Boat commander?") Here in Malaysia, where we get rain like every day, Ram air type intake on the snorkel can be a concern. I've seen pick-ups with similar type intakes swivel it 180 degrees to face backwards. This is just to prevent rain from being sucked in. Not sure how well it works though.
So this snorkel has 2 areas that can shoot the water out 👌🏻 so it should be good. But be safe and think about it for your area. We don’t get that much rain here
Thanks boet! I knew about it through my Garmin Overlander; there was a campsite on iOverlander, so I planned it as an emergency stop Incase we didn’t make it to our campsite. It’s just overlooking Lady Grey
Loving what you doing, been inspired to do some modifications on my own Hilux since watching your videos. Please tell me where did you do the steel/Aluminium frame around the fridge. Thanks! Keep doing what you doing!
Space and safety; it was small and doesn’t handle very well, and that just gets worse when you make it heavy. For my needs this Hilux is amazing, it’s comfortable, safe and has space for my family. Plus it’s still amazing offroad 👍🏻
Love you're stuff bru. Don't lose your South African roots though dude, it's a bakkie ❤️
Hahah 👌🏻
I can't believe I studied English at university and used "you're" instead of "your". I have brought shame upon my family
Is that something baked in the oven, a bakie..
Looking forward to next week! Eastern Cape is often overlooked but is my favourite province - it offers so much variation and exploring to do.

Love the new way your logo pops up in the intro. Your attention to detail for you videos and truck is awesome. Well done Adrian.
Thanks Josh! 👌🏻
Primer is hydroscopic if not overpainted water will migrate through the prime and start rusting the steel underneath. Rig looking good 👍.
It looks like you've gotten yourself a well sorted overland rig. Congratulations.
That hilux looks good in between the mountains. Awesome
It really felt at home out there!
Nice vehicle setup. Well Done.

That is a Garmin Inreach Mini; satellite communicator
Ah man it looks amazingly lekker 💫 HAPPY travel miles in your HILUX Adrian
Thanks Karen! So far it’s been awesome!
Can’t think of a better pressie than a trip , happy bday.
And then the universe wanted me to get robbed 😂
Why don't you equip balance bar such as strut bar and some bar like that before put in suspension?
Hey man loving the content. I have the same vehicle but i don’t have cruise control... did yours come with cruise control or did u have it fitted aftermarket?
I fitted it aftermarket it’s a very cheap upgrade directly from Toyota, it cost me R1.7k I think 👌🏻 soooo worth it!
Wow. Thanks man. Guess ill be at My nearest dealership tomorrow 😂
Look fwd to your epic journey mr. A.A. 🍻👍
Cheers fm Indonesia 🙏🇮🇩😎

How’s that 6 speed doing? Do you have any problems with hilux staying on the 6th gear with all that weight?

Hi Adrian what rims are you using on the hilux and where did you get it?
Hey Theunis; they are the Procomp Predator 35 from Tyrelife Solutions you can use this code BRAA20 if you want a 5% discount 👍🏻
@@RoamOverlanding thank you very much. Keep ond doing what you do it is inspirational to see SA you tuber growing. Have fun
Hi Adrian, where did you buy your toyota genuine snorkel, and who did the installation for you ? Thank you
Hey Danie; from Motus Toyota on Malibongwe. But it’s been a bit of a disappointment, the little grid on the ram head fell off and I have been struggling to get a replacement. You will need a very light anti smash tint, its both a good preventive security feature and also from protect you from the heat, beautiful rig! ❤️👌
I do have that installed already 👌🏻
What attachment is that on your sun visor? Where you get it? A very nifty thing to have. Regards. Love the Lux
Hey Bud! It's from Blue Ridge Overland gear; they make a bunch of nice pouches and storage options
Roam Overlanding thanks for that. I see it’s a USA company. I don’t seem to find a direct SA outlet?? Any advice. Man they have great products!!!! I will keep searching
The Truck looks amazing! If I may ask, what bulbs are using for the headlights? Thanks and cheers
Hey William, thanks bud! They’re JW Speaker bulbs from Zone Offroad here in Joburg

Looks like an amazing camp site lady grey? If you heading through Barkly East and have any troubles reach out
You had an Amarok? Is this before your filming days started.
Yup, I was just doing pictures. You can go way back on my Instagram to see it
@@RoamOverlanding Will do thank you.
What globes did you put in your headlights?
I have standard Halogens and would love to upgrade.
They are JW Speaker, I got them from Zone Offroad in Johannesburg
@@RoamOverlanding thanks. Stupid question but are they headlight bulbs or the square lights in your bumper? Also what was the price?
Headlights bulbs that replace the actually headlight bulb; and I think around R2k.
Thank you. What does it look like at night? Can visibility be compared to an LED or HID kit?
@@horeamarinescu1016 it’s so much better! 100% worth it
Where did you wild camp? Did you know about the spot beforehand? And happy birthday!

@@RoamOverlanding lovit! let me know if you are ever on the Hoedspruit area :)
Globes is a South African word for light bulbs.
😂
Also an Australian word.
Which one is better in off road Capabilities?
Suzuki Jimny or the Hilux?
The Jimny is amazing right off the show room. The Hilux needs some more modification; but once modified, the Hilux is incredible
What are you using for a cruise control?
I installed the Toyota Cruise Control
Ok, thanks I never knew they offered one for the 2.4.
Yup it’s a nice easy to install DIY kit 👌🏻
How did you know where to wild camp?
Hey Retha, my Garmin Overlander has campsite on it, and it was under the iOverlander set of campsites 👍🏻

Heyyy you switched to led's !
Yes sir 🤓
Awesome build Adrian! It's great to finally see you overlanding again :D Did you also installed diff breathers?
Hey David! It’s great to be back out on the road! No diffbreathers yet, but we will do a video on it 👍🏻
Did you weigh it while fully loaded yet?
Nope; that is definitely not the first thing on my wind when rushing to leave for a trip 😂
belated happy birthday
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Hello there what happened to the Jimny
i sold it almost a year ago already
