Hey Dan, don't put a laundry in the basement. Put a laundry on the bedroom floor where the clothes are. Carrying baskets of clothes up and down several flights of stairs isn't necessary now that electric machines are available.

Rest up Dan you've got a long day ahead of you tomorrow. Maybe you've got a photography friend who can take some epic photos of the gutted chateau from the basement looking through the open ceiling. Those shots you showed us were so beautiful looking up high on the interior walls. It would be fantastic to see a blown up framed photo of what you conquered and resurrected from the rubble on your finished walls. I am looking forward to watching you put the last tile on the roof. And believe me when I say I wait in anticipation.
Wow, another great episode of Daredevil Super Dan meets the Chateau-au-Ashes, and the demo continues. It's like a cliffhanger serial and you are always left wanting more. All in all, lots of hard-at-it but the boys were up for it, and as always, upbeat. Doesn't look like the remaining steel joists are usable, but time will tell.

You can still find the Vidal Pino Silvestri fragrance in the green pinecone bottle (circa 1970) for approximately US$60. It's not common, but it isn't as rare as you might think. Still, it's a fascinating find in your basement detritus, and somewhat gives you an idea about how some of the upper rooms were used. Great work this week, all.

Once it is cleared out, the rebuild can really take off! And since you already have floorstructures in, in almost half the building, I suspect things will go rather fast, if you take on some volunteers!! I'm exited to see, just how far along, the project is, this time next year!!

I've been involved with wood construction for almost 60 years. The only time I ever heard "noggin" used was in recent e to your head. Goes to show that you're never too old to learn.
I was a carpenter for 38 years. Never heard the term noggin other than in reference to the head either.

OH NOGGINS - so exciting! If you get parts of the roof on before the winter really sets in what an acheivement for 2023. Iv'e spent the last year or so watching your videos and they have helped me deal with some very tough cancer treatments. Hopefully, I can be treatment free for some months and get on with some minor projects here at my little house. Have to say that watching your videos make me homesick for France and my previous old house there in the vendee ,but times change, our circumstances change and i am glad to be with close family and firends in the UK - still I can feel, smell and sense the seasons of France from your videos and remember my trips to Brico Depot etc for building materials, slabs and wood. brings back so many memories...by the way you can still buy Vidal perfume in the green bottle with a chrstmas top on ebay UK.
