Even his respect for waiting till they were alone together to tell her he didnt like "Big Mike" was so respectful and sweet

The Blind Side
@@melissafaulkner7351is this movie that was made from real lofe events but turned out to be the family scammed the boy and got all his money?
L♥️VE, Kindness, Gentleness and Respect is born from Humility of Heart. They both have and live ‘This’ Courageously and with such Faith and Strength. Great movie - this mom mom (played by Sandra) Knew what to do and did it.
Great relationship!!
Another movie I 100% Love is “Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner?”
….made in the 60’s and still a magnificent L♥️VE story; easily shared a LOT “that day” - in the time frame….
I just LOVE to see Precious People like him with so much Respect and Mindfulness💯
Sandra’s character warned my heart here. After he said this she walked away so that way he couldn’t see her crying. She has such a tough front and surely didn’t wanna make him seem feel like a charity case. It warmed my heart how his tenderness and humility made her melt.
She acted her 🫏 out in that 2 seconds. Her eyes... and then: "Well, you have one now" expresses everything that is wonderful of adoptive parents. It means: "I can't make up for your past, but I will do everything I can to make the rest of your life happy" ❤
I like Sandra but I found the movie to be annoying. I thought he should’ve been the main character, the story should’ve focused on him instead of putting so much emphasis on Sandra’s character.
So sad
@@SJ-ni6iy Hollywood would never make a movie about an offensive lineman... and almost nobody knew who Michael Oher was at the time. The Blind Side book is actually more about Michael Oher and the father (Sean Tuohy).... but that doesn't get people into the theaters. 20th Century Fox actually bought the movie rights first... thinking they would get Julia Roberts to play the Leigh Anne role. When Julia turned the part down, they shelved the entire project... that's how important that role was to the studio. That script sat on the shelf for over a year until Alcon Entertainment finally bought it from Fox and made the movie with Sandra.
The fact people attacked Sandra Bullock over this drama was insane.
this was Oscar- worthy in my opinion, definitely not something to hate on
Do you think it’s because those people weren’t really like that in real life?
Isn’t it based on a true story tho?
@@brendaleyva4289 Based on a true story as so many of these movies are. There are two sides to a story and the real Michael Oher has been very vocal about his portrayal in this movie. He wrote his own book about this. I've been following him for years now on X. He's not close to them anymore. In fact, when he got married, no one in the family were invited. He had to go to court and sue them. They had established a conservatorship without his knowing. The judge ruled to end it.
@@brendaleyva4289 Just look it up on google, yea it’s semi based on a true story, but the actual main character never saw a cent and when they could they kicked him to the curb and was or is suing them for his share
Sandra bullock is a phenomenal actress, but this was her masterpiece
That's why she got an Oscar
She and Keanu are my favorites. Hands down.
This movie just broke my heart knowing there are kids like Michael.
Still there is now. From time to time I have been engaging with local organisations here that supports them. Some parents left the kid, some died . And it’s really sad cuz they’re around newborns to adult teens .
You know what's crazy?? This family did something bad to Michael.
@@kristiangutierrez8287whaat?
You honestly didn't know?
It’s much worse now because of the drug epidemic and the stress inflation has put on families.
I love how she cares about him and when he said he doesn't like being called big Mike she said to him well to me ur milkecol that was my favorite part ❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Omg I never had this much likes
.... Michael?
@@OneJessticle yes I don't know how to spell it
Y’all know these people took full advantage of this kid, never fully adopted him, took all the royalties from this movie and the book, and completely humiliated him? Those people are human garbage…
The Blind Side is a great movie wish they had the movie's name added so people can see what it is if they want to watch it.
I have found that if I come to the comments, nice people like you will tell me! Thank you.
Thank you so much. You should start posting movie clips so we can just watch, like and go watch the movie from the title you give
One of my family loved movie love Sandra 😢😮😊❤
Thank you, I've been wondering what it was, I'll try and find it tomorrow, seems like a good Sunday afternoon film ❤
@@GlitzyWitch It is on Netflix, but leaving soon
That movie had me crying. The performance of every actors was just amazing ❤️
I loved her character in this. I've known a couple real life women like this, and they are truly some of the best people alive. Heart of gold, but scary tough.
The way she showed him kindness and respect really touched my heart. It's so heartbreaking to think about the struggles some kids face.
People take for granted a bed to yourself and a room. I’ve also never had those things. Privacy is a privilege.
you’ve never had a bed?
I slept in the living room on the sofa up until high school.
Oh
No it’s not. You mean to tell me, you don’t owe your teenage child privacy???? That they are “privileged” to not have to get naked in front of the family, or to be able to be alone in the bathroom???
“Yes, privacy is a fundamental human right, as recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Article 12), the European Convention of Human Rights (Article 8), and the European Charter of Fundamental Rights (Article 7). It also protects people from arbitrary or unlawful interference with their privacy, family, home, or correspondence.”
@@jdawgb7642 and for many people in the world is a privilege, more than a luxusy, cause they cannot afford it. Isn't obvious than reality comes beyond the Law? The messasge was correct: do not take it for granted just because is common.
I absolutely love Sandra Bullock. She is beautiful and a phenomenal actress! This movie is one of my all time favorites. ❤❤😊
If a kid ever told me they'd never had a bed before, I think I'd start sobbing so uncontrollably
That first bed statement had me crying like only an old lady can.
Me too. Made me cry. 😊
If I recall correctly, she did cry, but after she left the room. Guessing it was because she didn’t want him to feel bad.
Smile of Michael after shopping is sooo sweet its contagious as I caught myself smiling too😂❤❤❤
Sandra Bullock.. A GOAT.... Shows how its done like always.. Respect and God Bless You
I've seen this movie so many times and this scene always makes my eyes water, this and the scene with the car accident
It's really sad hearing that the reality is far from what was portrayed in the movie 😢

This is my favorite movie ever I can't get sick of watch it over and over , Sandra really deserved her Oscar for her role here , always making me emotional 🤧❤️
This was a beautiful story. I just wish all life can end up like this.
Unfortunately it turns out they scammed him out of all his money in real life...
❤this was an excellent movie and it teaches every one to love one another!!!! Not everyone is as fortunate as others. The young man is so grateful for everything .
Then you should watch CRASH

In real life I don't think he was so grateful he's actually suing them
I LOVED this movie! It broke my heart and lifted it up. I know there’s been a lot of flack over fiction vs non-fiction, however, as a movie itself and the acting itself, everyone was spectacular and the story was gripping!👍🏻👍🏻
I mean as a blck person, its tiring to see stories that paint other as saviors when your hard work was the primary driver for your success. Its just weird how they had to exaggerate. Why cant they just tell the truth? The player talked about how it negatively impacted him as teams thought he was mentally deficient. Its so obvious the “feel good” part of the movie is catering to one demographic.
@@thezu9250 As a white person, I’ll never be able to empathize what it’s like to be black, but I definitely can sympathize. I did some deeper digging after I read your post and Mr. Oher has definitely been taken advantage of and genuinely been hurt by those he thought and trusted to be doing right by and for him! The conservatory situation is gut wrenching! I’m heartbroken for him. I had no idea that it hurt his career. Personally, I’ve always known that there is a difference as I was blessed to go to a school system that was culturally diverse. One of my besties is black. One of my boyfriends was black. I’ve raised my kids to treat everyone equally. My youngest daughter’s boyfriend is black. I add all that to say that I’m not naive about portrayals being inaccurate, and with the inaccuracy that is repeatedly shown in movies and tv, it’s a complete disservice to the black community, and others because I know that Asians and Latinos are also, more often than not, inaccurately depicted. It’s not right. We definitely do need more scripts that are the actual truth. There are great stories out there, but not enough. Honestly, I’ve learned more in this past year (two major surgeries had me watching a lot of documentaries and reading while healing) about things, moments, atrocities that have happened just in the US alone that I sure as heckity-heck wasn’t taught in our history classes. My parents and grandparents clearly remember how it was for their generation, but also never heard some of those stories! It’s appalling! Hopefully, we can continue down a path where change is more probable than not. White people are not saviors. Our Lord and Savior was not white either! (I’m been pointing that out to people for decades!) All I can do is to continue how I have and to encourage others around me to do the same. // That was a book response, I’m sorry. 🤦🏻♀️❤️🤗
Despite all the critics about the real characters, the movie is beautiful
This scene broke my heart!!
I really love this movie. Regardless of age, people need love. Kids need love, teens need love and understanding. This happens to be the perfect scenario where the kid actually appreciates the foster/adoptive parents. I love it
Her reaction after he told her never had bed and left the room is priceless
I remember this movie! It was very amazing and moving! Thanks for sharing, id forgotten about this one.
Mikeal; es respetuoso y femuestra sus sentimientos. La hermosa actitud de una gran persona.
it's been 30 years since Sandra Bullock is my favourite actress ❤
“A bed” kills me every time 😭
😢😢🥺🥺🥺
A normal bed but it’s healing him
This movie reminded me that I never had a room or bed of my own. Thought that was mormal. I worked hard and educated myself to provide better for my daughter. This movie really hit home.....😊
Sandra Bullock is so very beautiful woman and she's gorgeous with her hair that color
It’s crazy tho how he legit tried to sue them after all that they did to help him so ungrateful 😢
I love this movie. It is so heart warming. I still watch it. Sandra's character tries not to make a big deal about Michael but his circumstances did effect her deeply.
This movie touched my heart in such a special way. So many times and so many kids I have tried to help like this. I never had enough money to really do it like this, but I tried. And it's true, they are so sweet and respectful when they are helped in such a way. Really puts into perspective how important parents and a sense of family are for a human being.
Didn't the guy come out and say this family was exploiting him and using him for the money?
I think they had power of attorney over him and wouldn't let it go.Kinda like in Brittany Spears case.
Yes I believe there's still an ongoing case so not so grateful
Yes
Yup! And he got little to no money from this movie while the family got everything. There are families that cherry pick people from the hood to ride off the coat tails of their success…. Sounds like borderline human trafficking to me
@@lela2216 That's the media narrative but it's false. His was nothing like the Britney Spears case. Her father had a Conservatorship of the Estate over her and controlled her finances. The Tuohys had a Conservatorship of the Person over Michael Oher and had no control over his finances or business contracts. She had a medical diagnosis and had to fight a huge legal battle to get out of hers. The judge actually wrote into Michael Oher's that there was nothing wrong with him. He wasn't locked into his like she was with hers. He could have ended it any time he wanted.
Oh madam you’re always holding back your tears I’m so so moved you’ve made me cry again only u could have played this part a n bit he whole world see you in Heaven but Hank you Jesus for your elegance graceful ness & humility
Sandra Bullock is a treasure!
She looks really beautiful with blond hairs.😍
Sandra Bullock was so good in this movie. It's a good movie.
Just seeing this short video reminded me of an inner city middle school I subbed in. Several of our students were actually homeless and lived out of cars or in someone's spare room with the others in the family. When they were talked to about not getting their classwork done overnight, it hurt to see them struggle with the pain of trying to survive. The school kept a good clothes closet for them, though.
She played a great role I love this movie.
Stunning Ms. Bullock !! Pure elegance
Questo film mi ha strappato il cuore dal petto e bellissimo...e poi ADORO SANDRA!!!❤️😍
This was a great true story. If only more families would take in kids.
Whoa see the expression on Sandra Bullocks face. When Michael said he never had a bed. Wonder what she was thinking. Sandra just looked puzzled.
This how World should.
Loving and caring and kind
Sandra's face is gorgeous 😍
Sucks to find out that the family who took Michael in basically robbed him out of all the money he would've made off of this movie and his earnings from the NFL due to a conservatorship
He received all his NFL money. They state they split the royalties from the movie 5 ways evenly between all family members. I am interested in knowing the outcome.
I do know they are ultra wealthy, worth $100 mil from businesses they've owned. Obviously they were rich prior to meeting him.
I really hope the Tuoys are being truthful and that they can reconcile.
Also, he was portrayed as academically inclined and he was a honor student in real life!
They gave him compensation I think ..
That’s pathetic to be upset about. Like he was NFL player, those dudes earn soo much money. The thing is that without this family, he would have never made it that big. He didn’t have the resources to make it. The movie may be centered around him but the movie is also about his adoptive family.
Where did you hear that? Michael Ohr said there were a few things about the movie he didn’t agree with. He never claimed they took his money or mistreated him in any way.
Award-winning performance she gave in this movie!
Definitely, a good movie & a good cast.
Such a great movie, I did cry a lot. ❤
Such a great movie. Such great actors. Sandra Bullock did a fantastic job and so did big Mike.
People like us waiting for this angel and some of us want to be like them 😢
This movie always brings me to tears and touches my heart❤😢
Awe I love this movie I would have done the same thing I have no kids of my own but I would be more than happy to help one in need
That's great. I'm looking for mentors for my grandkids who live with me. It's so nice to know there are people who want to help! I an one of those people myself but can't do it alone
Why am I crying....ugh....best movie ever....or mostly ever..
I know Hollywood put a stamp on it. But this is a great movie, and Sandra and Quinton Aaron were fantastic. The family story it's based on, is very real.
Bullock played a great part. I believe she was beautiful. Maybe the best she ever looked
This movie is REALLY dark if you consider what the real woman did to the real Michael.
Out of all her movies this one made her human
😢😢😢Such a fantastic film, Sandra Bullock was fantastic❤❤❤❤

5/5 I love the movie, This is a movie I think everybody should’ve seen at least once
It's common. I'm mid-50s and don't have a bed, just a mattress on the floor. A bed is luxury that people just think they need, but they don't.
I love this movie. It definitely made me cry.
good morning. what is the title of the movie please
True or not I loved this movie. Sandra Bullock nailed it.
It's a great inspirational movie. Real life is a little bit less nice, but I hope that more people will be motivated to adopt older children, not just babies.
Everything in this movie is great 😢❤
The Sad Part About This Movie Is That This Was Once A Reality For Him & Because Of That Kind Woman, That Became The Past For Him, She Gave Him Everything He Needed & Now All He Does Is For His Family, She Was A Great Role Model For Him & Now He’s The Role Model For Other People…
