My guess on how you did this: - keypad prop has an additional skin to show bad apple - Mapfile changed to include a player trigger use that changes the keypad to the "bad apple" skin. - A sound entity is placed in the level which is synced to the trigger - You would also still need to heavily compress both the bad apple video and music That's a lot of work just to make this...
i split every frame of bad apple (30 fps video) scaled the frames down, and removed every 2 and 3rd frame using ffmpeg, then i could just shove it all in vtfedit and make an animated texture (also imma be honest i didn't bother to look up how to do ffmpeg commands i just asked chatgpt to make them for me). i added a wacky proxy to the vmt so a material_modify_control entity could control the animated texture so it could start paused, and that i could play and pause it, and then i just added a button to make material_modify_control start playin the texture :D btw it took me a bajillion hours to figure out i could just use a material_modify_control to play the animated texture instead of setting up 2 billion ass inputs and entities

i think it may be a gmod addon of some kind or a simple after effect in a video editing program
