I saw Mean Gene at a Big Time Wrestling Show in my hometown of Hicksville NY about 2 months before he died. He called out to my son when he saw him with his NWO shirt. The day he died my son got home from school and called me at work to tell me the Mean Gene had passed. Just taking a picture with him is such an awesome memory for both of us.

As a 80s baby born in 85. I fell in love with wwf, turtles, gi jo and batman sooo much. Wwf stayed with me until about 2001. When I stopped full time following it. Mean gene was rightfully a hall of Famer. So glad they inducted him into wwe hall of fame. He as u said. Was just as impactful as some of our favorites growing up even when he went to wcw. I watched both. So he was always there it didnt matter which book he worked for. He is awesome and hopefully some of the future talent are allowed to create moments like mean gene . Something has goto give with the dry bs they have fornthe last 15 years ish

More manager and announcer and specific match or item bios!?
Maybe a history of the steel chair as a weapon? Times its been used to change belts? Or break up tag teams, or cause heel turns or inadvertently start fueds. Those important moments involving a steel chair hit? Legit accidental injuries from steel chair hits? A big topic, I would think.
