    The only thing that needed addressing wasn't: the problem of letting out just a small amount of oil while all of the oil is trying to rush our. Thanks for nothing.

    Quick question if you get to this comment.
    I have a 2020 636.
    When I'm riding, I feel a slight stutter every half a second. It's causing the exhaust sound to move up and down ever so slightly. Like vrooooOOoooOooOooOooOooOoom . But it's ever so slight.
    When it's making that wave I can feel that wave on my foot pegs.
    I can't figure it out.

    I did put a bit more than needed. Try to remove it with a syringe and got it stuck in the engine. When I tried to pull the pipe it broke. Was lucky enough to pull it out with a needle nose. Still scared that there are plastic debris inside the engine case.

      It's easy, you just screw it back in. When you press it up to the hole it will stop the flow. I literally did mine twice yesterday to get the right level

    Between F and L
    ?
    That’s crazy.
    Full is at F. If the engine uses some oil you can be save at “between” F and L.
    Just fill it up to F, and a little to much doesn’t hurt your engine. It’s actually realy hard to mess up your engine with to much oil. Couse you need to fill it up all the way. And then you pored Liter to much in it. And that will never happen. As long as there is enough room for the oil to move. Then you never blow up your engine. It’s mostly over reacted. So a little over Full, no problem. Poring another Liter in. Then it’s questionable 🤨.

    • @keithgray7593
      @keithgray7593 3 года назад

      Why don’t you tell the world how it should be done then. I will add that this method he suggests is fine. I would personally block the drain plug hole after siphoning some oil off with a conical plug and then refit the sump plug with a new crush washer.

    • @robertprosser6856
      @robertprosser6856 3 года назад +7

      @@keithgray7593 simply warm the engine up to thin the oil then draw from where you fill the oil. I hope the world appreciates👍

    • @aidenlothian9642
      @aidenlothian9642 Год назад

      @@robertprosser6856 Haha how is this a bad way of doing it? The way you suggest doesn't work for every bike as clutch baskets are sometimes in the way. Also most people can easily get a hold of a socket set or wrench even if they don't own one. I've seen owners manuals suggesting the use of syringes to get out excess oil using the method you describe but who's gonna do that? All you do is undo the drain bolt for a second and reinstall the drain bolt and check the level and repeat if necessary. I've done it on a mates bike and even used the same crush washer and never leaked. I would suggest wearing some rubber gloves. Just delete the comment. Stop trying to be a smarty pants.
