I had a cub in the 60s when I was a young lad, it took me back to those times, what an immaculate build, thanks for showing. I still remember its registration number it was OXV 96
1st bike i had was a sports cub NOJ 708F i sprayed the tank in union jack flag - man i loved that bike but i wasn't very mechanically minded and it fell into disrepair and eventually a 'friend' convinced me to sell it in bits to cromwell motorcycles in coventry for £30 so we could get some pot :(
Agreed. These skills are in short supply, and to be honest, our need as a species to stop making and consuming junk (in quality and character) has never been greater. Yes! I said it. Fixing and restoring our stuff is GREEN.
Skillset is one thing, this dude has ; a spotter, sandblasting equipement, a lathe, powdercoating equipement, pullers, spray guns, and so on. Stuff like that is hella expensive.

I left the UK in 1965 and my friend had a brand new one of these bike. I loved it and you have done a beautiful job of restoring it.Thank you, a pleasure to watch.
Everytime I see one of these restoration videos, it brings such joy to my life. These bikes are magicical time machines. I am beyond happy that you are doing this. Thank you.
You're a magic mechanic. Beautifully edited and to get to that point, I'm surprised the basic materials held up. What a miracle, a success...a TRIUMPH!
I watch all the videos from Restoration of Everything who do the same type of restorations. But after watching this video, Live With Creativity is my new favorite channel. He goes the extra mile to make the bike as near perfect as you can get. Amazing work!
Nice job done.. This brings me back to 1995 when I restored a 1971 Norton Commando 750 that had been in a damp shed in Pennsylvania for 17 years.. 700 working hours and FL. 12,000 (€5,500) later I could drive. Now, 29 years later and 71,000 km. otherwise still running well, no parts changed except tires, oil, filters... I'm still happy with it...
You make restoring a bike looked so easy. I know it's far from that. The video and photography are just amazing. I can't imagine how much work it takes for you to do just one video like this. Man, if I only had 1/8 of your talent....
I had a tiger cub when I was eighteen AVH 98 B it was a beautiful little thing If I won the lottery I would want this man to produce a another work of art beautifully done my friend

Triumph Got Riguously New and Beautiful... A Fantastic Restoration of the Best I Have Seen.... A lot of Professionalism, a lot of Love and Dedication and Patience.... My Sincere Congratulations, and Thank You for being able to Learn.
I used to have a Tiger Cub. It was small and slow; but could climb any hill you pointed it at. The most fun of any of the old bikes I had. We used to joke that the thing only had about five moving parts.
Thank you for restoring this little classic. At one time I had no less than 11 of these in a collection, had a Kawasaki triple 500 too and often my wife and I would trundle off on little Tiger Cubs for fun, she rode one as well. Grand little bikes, some well known riders started their careers on a tuned Cub, not many weak points if given a little loving attention. Wonder if. SL 7025 still exists. Did mine black and silver, mostly the earlier version with the contact breaker etc behind the cylinder.
That was fantastic, a classic lives again, thanks to you. I admire your talent and your tools, wish i had the gear, and the know how, to do that. Great stuff, cool bike.
Fantastic. Back in the day, the Tigercub wasn't taken as seriously as the larger models with most being owned by either very young men or old men who just liked to commute and stuff so many did not survive and so it's great to see you restore this one to as good a finish as Triumph ever did. It looks fantastic mate and you should be proud to take this old Tigercub virtually as scrap and restore her beautifully, I would be.
I don’t need to tell you how gorgeous the end result is. Watching this video I’m simultaneously struck by all the skills you’ve acquired to pull this off and thinking how much fun you were having while doing this restoration. I want to salute the monstrous patience you have to do everything and not succumb to the desire to rush to see results. Truly glorious.
FANTASTIC, TRIUMPH TIGER CUB. MADE IN ENGLAND. FIRST BIKE I EVER RODE, LAST ONE WAS A TRIUMPH TIGER 110, ONCE YOU RIDE A TRIUMPH YOU STAY WITH TRIUMPH, GREAT VID, GREAT REBUILD.
This has just taken me straight back to 1975 when I bought a very similar 1965 T20c (the C models had points ignition instead of a magneto) from a friend in the same village as me in Leicestershire. Mine had the slightly better looking chrome bowl headlight instead of the faired in headlight you have here. What an amazing job!!
Amazing video! You make it look easy, which it possibly is when you're highly skilled, but even so it makes me want to get out to the garage and get on with my 1980 RD250E 'basket case'. Thank you 'Live With Creativity' for the inspiration!

Never had a Cub, went straight onto a Tiger 110. How simple a machine the Cub looks today. Brilliant job done here by a new generation! Well done!

@ yea that ol’ BSA tried to bit me a time or two but I never laid it down and it never tried to stomp on me! 😂🤣😂😱😱
The engine disassembly sequence reminds me of the Hagerty engine rebuild videos. High quality and beautifully executed. You earned my sub.
I wouldn't consider using open ended metric spanners on an old British bike, very professional.
Clutch plates were out of sequence, I believe.

Most of the fasteners would be BSCY , British standard cycle thread . On early 1960s Triumphs. After about 1968 Triumph switched to UNF and UNC .
Also spoiled by riding it around an industrial estate rather than out in the country. Down town India I presume
